noel (3/5): Comfy but, one of the filthiest places I have stayed. - Firstly, I am not the type to leave reviews unless I am WOWed or dissapointed. I will give credit where credit is due because I found the booking process very easy and initially had a good experience using the site. The landlord was communicative and understanding for a situation. The location is easy access and close to many amentities. Unfortunately, the rental property itself was a major disappointment. When I arrived, the place was dirty, and even after the landlord acknowledged the issue and said it would be cleaned, nothing improved. I did not press the issue because it was the only place nearby and nothing really available that short notice without paying triple. The sheets and towels that were said to be “clean” were visibly stained and had a bad odor, which made it impossible to use them. I ended up purchasing my own sheets just to be able to stay there. The cleanliness and lack of follow-through from the host really affected the stay. I hope future guests have a better experience, but based on mine, I would not stay here again unless the property standards improve

Mark (1/5): good price but communication was poor and the place lacked all character - the price is reasonable and the check-in process was nice. the owners were only open to communicating when it benefitted them personally, for a security deposit or to tell us check-out instructions, but said nothing more otherwise even to direct questions. they do not have an organized hotel by any means and be prepared to e-transfer a security deposit. the place itself has absolutely zero character - no art, hardly any furniture, and the cleanliness is basic.

STEPHANE (1/5): DON'T REALLY BOOK IT!!! - NOT AT ALL I wanted to bring a concern to your knowledge that at the place that I booked from your website is not up to the marks for staying for guests. The place is not clean at all. Floor is really sticky, washrooms are not clean there are shaved hair in the bath tub and dust all over the sink. Bedroom bedsheets were smelling bad and there are big stains of blood or water on the pillows and mattresses. Bedroom mirrors has stains on it, doesn’t look like someone cleaned it. Upon asking to change bedsheet, the owner told us to wash the bedsheet instead. On top of that they’re asking to pay for the laundry machine use per load. Also there is no iron for clothes as they mentioned. Fridge and kitchen very dirty I was supposed to enjoy vacation with my family. I didn’t come to do laundry here from France. The picture were shown online doesn’t match the property in real. It’s a big fake advertising. This property shouldn’t be online for staying before doing a proper inspection. REALLY DON'T BOOK IT!!!

Good communication on booking with the person responsible, who answered rapidly to a question we had and was clear with the instructions to access to the rooms etc. Unfortunately the place was quite dirty, the shared rooms especially (bathroom and kitchen, with hairs on the floor, sticky floor, lots of spots on the napkin…). The bedding seemed clean but when we looked underneath the bed to see if we did not forget anything in the room before leaving, we were quite surprised by the state of it.

The whole place had a strong, unpleasant odor that made it hard to be inside for long. We couldn’t sit comfortably or walk barefoot, and it clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly. For $700 over two nights, it felt like a complete rip-off.

( car broke down hour n a half away) the information and polices between the add and the finished booking do not match. Found this place on other sites and it's all different. Really upset that I got silent treatment about pushing my stay to start half a day later so I could get a good sleep at least after my health appointments. Ended up paying for this place and not being able to use it.
Amanda (6/5): VERY mediocre, NOT satisfactory! - Nice house The main room looked good, but the bathroom was filthy, the tub had a black dirt ring around it, the sink was dirty, the bed sheets were paper thin, as was the blanket. Went to use some dishes they were filthy with stuck food to them. The mattress was old and hard as a rock and squeaky and groany every time I rolled over it woke me up, no cable tv, only two towels, nooo washcloths. When I searched this room online it was $53 plus tax….welll the bill was $93? One of the two only clean towels that were provided I put on my pillow to sleep on because the only two pillows had pillow shams NOT bed sheet pillow cases so I’m betting they weren’t washed from the last guest! …there was a sign to empty your own garbage 😂 , the fridge was dirty. These people want the money by do NOT clean it daily or even weekly! Sad because it’s a beautiful place…just NOT clean!

Issa (1/5): Dirtiest rooms i have ever stayed in. - This property was not what was in the description. It said mountain view rooms. It was in the basement. In the photos it looked clean and well maintained. Unfortunately this was not our experience at all. We arrived around 4 and had a short time to get ready to leave for a concert. Upon arrival we discovered there were no clean towels. Only 2 dirty ones from the previous guests thrown in the closet of the rooms. One of us showered and had to use some shirts to dry off. When we asked about towels we were told they could be delivered after 10pm that evening. The bathroom was very dirty! The shower had visible debris and hair on the bottom and had a film when you showered. The shower doors were dirty and there was build up on the handle on the doors. The bathroom sink had hair and debris as well. The bedrooms were not any better Unfortunately. The sheets had clearly not been changed there was glitter, buildup, crumbs and even a bug on the sheets. The bedside tables were very dirty with dust and what looked like left over spills. We all slept on top of the blankets and put shirts over out pillow cases. The floors had not been cleaned there was a lot of debris and sticky black spots. If you walked barefoot you would get stuff all over your feet. Also room number 5 smelled of cigarettes. It was also incredibly hot and there was no way to change the temperature. I contacted customer service and the property to let them know. Nothing has been done. It was so bad we cut our trip short and left a night early to head home. I honestly have never had such a poor experience at a rental. I am shocked by the poor cleaning and hygiene of this location. Unfortunately I would not recommend this location. 😕

Dean (1/5): The worst dirtiest place we have ever experienced, and we're pretty laid back - Building location and suburb is reasonable. The so called "suite" is around the back of what seems to be a residential house where the owners live... rather deceptive. We heard much agresive shouting late at night on several nights by a male who I suspect is the owner. We were greeted to a dirty place with filthy pot in the sink, dirty bath, stained towels, and dirty floors you cant go barefoot on. Just 1 fork and few basic utensils. And yeah BYO toilet paper too... we were left just the end of a roll with no spare. Beware they also want you to pay for the washing machine listed which is in another room where you can awkwardly meet people renting out single rooms. There is no excuse for it to be so dirty and uncomfortable. We will not be back!

Happyvacations (3/5): Not close to what was stated in the description and dirty despite paying a cleaning fee. - The beds were comfortable. The place was not clean. From the tub/showers having mildew to the floor not being mopped, this place was filthy. The beds had not been cleaned under for some time; slippers, women's underwear, condom, empty bottles, and general filth resided there. Used towels in the one bathroom were on the toilet and still hanging up drying. Toilet paper was lacking in the one bathroom and had a small partial roll in the other. Hair clippings could be found in the tub, on the sink, and on some towels. While there was a kitchen, utensils were lacking, ie. there was only 1 fork and 2 plates to be used. What little there was, was dirty and leftover cheese was still in the fridge from previous occupiers. The tub had no mat or anti-slip strips and felt dangerous to be standing in. The room description stated a washer and dryer in each room and a private bathroom for each room booked. One room did not have a private bathroom, but one in which could still be accessed by other guests. The door to this area had an illegal slide latch that could be locked from the outside. This could mean that we would be trapped if one of the other guests or staff decided to slide the latch closed. We notified the property manager of these issues we first noticed upon arrival and we were quickly dismissed. We never saw the property manager, nor did he care to rectify any issues except the sending of cleaning women to remove the underwear, slippers, and used towels.

Tien-feng (3/5): Poor - The place was over booked and host contacted us to ask for changing 1st night place although what we actually booked is 2nights. This results an increased cost of calling Uber to the different place and host was not willing to compensate for it. The only benefit host offered is a free ride to sky train station when we were leaving, but that's within walking distance. Although the places we stayed got acceptable cleanliness the over booking is still very disappointed.

The house is relatively new or newly refurbished. Once we were at the location the owner responded quickly to our calls or texts. After a long flight from Australia we found there were no toiletries to have our shower. I rang the owner the next day and he advised we had to provide our own toiletries and toilet paper. There was a very noisy neighbour who woke us and kept us awake in the middle of the night. There were only a couple of eating utensils. The couch was not comfortable to sit on. When leaving I checked under the bed and there was a lot of dust and fluff as well as empty drink bottles from a previous tenant. If you are walking there is a very steep long hill to walk up to get to the house which would be difficult for some people. If you want to go to a supermarket and don't have a car you need to take a train to the shops. The photos showed a washing machine in the unit and said that was included in the unit, however the washer and dryer are in a different part of the house in a communal area that you need to notify the owner if you want to use it and an additional fee applies.

Gunnar (1/5): Very disappointing experience - We can’t judge the original booked flat. Two days before arrival we got informed that the booked flat is not available and we are transferred to another location. The flat and furniture has been in terrible condition and dirty.
