Guest Reviews
- Andreas (2/5): Very disappointing. - We stayed for 3 days. On 2 of the 3 days, there was no gas supply (which is used to heat water and operate the cooking stove). Since we stayed in winter (beg. of August), taking icy cold showers is not really pleasant. Not having the option to cook any food (no gas) isn't great either. Most disturbing is also the 24/7 noise level (from traffic etc.) Earplugs are highly recommended, even though they won't completely fix the problem. And: don't use too many appliances at the same time as the power may trip (overload). And don't count on responsiveness of the management. There were other issues too. We will certainly not stay there again.
- Fryar (9/5): Perfect Apartment and ideal location - Absolutely perfect! This cute apartment was well appointed and comfortable - ideal location directly across from the wharf which was ideal for sitting with a glass of wine and watching the ferries come in. Beds were super comfy.
- David (10/5): Exceptional - Location and view
- Lynn (9/5): A lovely well-appointed apartment, very close to all amenities. - Location was great, layout was good. Having a local parking pass was fabulous. Having wine glasses would make it better. There were dirty dishes still in the dishwasher, not a big issue but does take away from the otherwise clean and tidy apartment. Not a criticism but a comment, the third "bedroom" was more of a sleepout, ok for us as I am short and the kids bed was fine for me but anyone taller would probably not have slept well.
- Linda (4/5): This apartment is not something I would recommend for the money. - The location is very close to the Ferry, beach, shops This is really a one bedroom apartment. That bedroom is well equipped. There is a bed in what I imagine should be a study/sunroom however the sunlight comes streaming in very early as there are no block out blinds. The other bedroom is part of the lounge and is blocked off by folding doors. This room offers no wardrobe or drawers for clothes to be put during the stay. The windows in the main bedroom make the most hideous banging noise when the wind comes up. This went on all night. The floors creek and should be replaced. There are some electric points that are not up to code and are dangerous. Bedroom windows should be double glazed to block out noise from busses and drunken louts on Friday and Saturday nights. Having said all that the beds are comfy and the couch in the loungeroom was great.
