• Alix (10/5): Everything you need. - The room is spacious and well decorated, there was tea and coffee and the host was lovely, welcoming and couldn't do enough for me. I was there for work conference at Murrayfield and so this location was perfect as it is only a short walk. The space was immaculately clean. I would stay again if I was going to Murrayfield for an event, concert or Rugby!
• Cheryl (8/5): A tranquil haven, well-named - Dark, quiet, spacious, tasteful, comfortable bed, room well-appointed, good TV, separate adjoining room allowed one partner to wake before the other, well situated for both local amenities and access to town, host perfect balance of friendly and unobtrusive. Would have preferred en-suite but facilities were totally private and dressing-gowns were provided.

• Tracey (8/5): Great accommodation close to Murrayfield Stadium. - Close to Murrayfield Stadium for the rugby. Easy to find and free parking. Clean. Comfortable bed, usb sockets for phone charging. Lovely decor and artwork. Great communication with host/owner. Wasn’t too sure which areas we could use and wasn’t aware it was the owners personal residence. Would have liked decaf coffee choice and fresh milk. No iron in room.

• Eglantine (9/5): Cozy stay in a beautiful home - Nous n'avons pas croisée la propriétaire qui était sortie à notre arrivée, mais entrée autonome avec les clés mises à dispo dans une boite à clé. La chambre était grande et très bien décorée, propreté impeccable et lit très confortable. La maison est très jolie dans un quartier agréable - parking gratuit dans la rue.

• Claire (8/5): Nice, great location for concert, pricey and not private bathroom - Clean. Great Character. Lovely people. Advertised with private bathroom which we took as just for us and en suite or similar. Whereas this was shared and down a hallway away from the bedroom. Price was high and whilst we note the oasis concert was on, 650 gbp for one night very high.

• Sarah (9/5): Will stay again! - Fab location for us, extremely clean and tidy and a very welcoming host. It would have been a ten but I love a soft pillow and these were too big and too solid. Maybe have one big pillow and one softer one? Just my preference though and I wood definitely stay here again. Nothing it was really fantastic. So clean and tidy and just the location we needed.

• Kirsten (8/5): Very good - All facilities were extremely clean and comfortable. Location was nice and quiet with good pub food close by. Host was very welcoming and friendly. Bathroom was private but not ensuite. Unable to lock our door.

• Gavin (8/5): Very good - Shoes off was a pain especially as this was at the foot of a long flight of stairs. The stairs were cluttered - a chair on the landing and pots at the top of the stair may have been aesthetic but were a challenge when it came to lifting heavy bags. A shoe horn to put shoes back on would have been useful as would somewhere to place a suitcase so it could be accessed (the floor is not particularly convenient). Nowhere for an evening meal within walking distance and local shops were poor when it came to breakfast.

• Christopher (9/5): Truly a Tranquil Haven! - Excellent clean property which was beautifully presented with super comfy bed.Was well located for local bars/cafe & public transport into the city. Friendly & attentive host who gave useful advice about trips into the city. Although private bathroom was lovely it was separate from bedroom(down the hall). This may not be to everyone’s taste. Not an issue for us!

It was within a ten minute walk of Murrayfield Stadium and five minutes from Corstorphine Road, where one can access public transport to and from the city centre and the airport. It would be an ideal base for exploring Edinburgh. The host was welcoming and helpful. All was fine.

• Von (10/5): Wonderful - This room was fantastic and the host was both kind and accommodating. The room and bathroom were spotless and the bed one of the most comfortable I’ve slept in. All necessities were there - USB plugs, hair drier, bath robe. Extra heater in case one runs cold. Great value.

A lovely quiet location with easy parking and views of the Pentland Hills. The lovely owner deserves to do well with this venture. 10/10. We will be back! Nothing to dislike.

• Remi (10/5): One of our best stays! - Super quiet and peaceful accomodation in a nice neighbourhood. Very easy to park around. Our host is very welcoming and gracious, full of care. The room is spacious, prefectly clean and beautifully decorated. We felt like home and slept very well in the comfy bed. We appreciated the large bathroom with bathtub (and even bathsalts!). 100% recommended.
