• William (10/5): Tranquil stay in scenic Yorkshire - Very clean and well appointed apartment with terrific views. A really comfy bed which I think very important. Also the walk in wardrobed dressing room is brilliant. Also nicely placed to visit lovely places nearby. Nothing.

• edge (10/5): Most beautiful cottage I've stayed in - This was our second visit to Mountain view. It's like home from home. The facilities provided and attention to detail was very much appreciated. The cleanliness was unbelievably perfect. Bathroom facilities gave us everything we needed. Parking right Infront of the door just the same as visit one. I've never experienced accomodation that provides so many comforts and style to cater for all. The only negative I have is wishing I'd stayed longer. What a beautiful relaxing place. I honestly can't fault anything about this beautiful cottage and compliments to the owner who provides this wonderful service. Out of 10 I'd score 20 ❤️ Everything

• Anonymous (9/5): Great apartment with stunning views. - The views were amazing. We thought the apartment was well kept and generally cleaned to a high standard. Everything was there that we needed for self-catering. It was a good base to get to places of interest. The bed was comfy and linen/towels clean. A nice touch was the biscuits left for us and sweets on the dining table....thankyou. Stepping into and out of the bath was a little awkward as it was higher than we are used to. The plastic strip at bottom of the shower glass was in need of a clean. There were a couple of marks on the walls in the living room that could be touched up. (Very minor overall)

• Victoria (10/5): Amazing find with a cracking view! - The location was perfect for us - we were at a wedding at the Raggalds just down the road. The apartment is perfectly formed, has everything you need (including a welcome pack of my favourite biscuits - thank you!) cosy and has the most amazing view over Thornton and beyond. Otherwise it’s close to shops, a farm shop and a lovely bakery/cafe a five minute drive away. It’s a good spot for those wanting to explore Brontë country with the birthplace close by and then the Parsonage a short drive away. There’s also some really good walks nearby. Communication with Yvonne was excellent and helped me out quickly when needed. Nothing - it was perfect.

• David (10/5): - Compact and comfy. Oven, hob and microwave that didn't require a science degree to operate. The view across the valley was superb, especially as the sun went down and illuminated the houses. Didn't like only having 4 days to spare for our break. We'll have to come back when we get a chance for a longer break. To tour around a bit more as there is a lot to see and do.

Property was fresh, clean and tidy. Lots of space for row people and lovely balcony. As it was very warm while we were staying, we needed to open the windows. There was a quiet a bit of road noise from early in the working. Used my ear plugs, so all good.

Everything was fully explained and easy to access such as working the heating. A later check out would be nice but is in line with most properties.
• Maggie (10/5): Me and my daughter had a great time Yvonne lets us stay in the flat for 30 minutes which helped us so much as we had fac - I liked the view from the patio doors. The property was spotless everything in the property was new and the carpets looked liked they had just been laid. The bath was lovely lots of hot water. Yvonne left lots of tea, coffee, milk and lovely biscuits which was greatly appreciated.
• Frances (10/5): Exceptional - I just loved this apartment. It even has its own dressing room. Great location for reaching Halifax, Bronte country, Skipton and more. Beautiful balcony view over the hills. All the fixtures and fittings are modern yet so tastefully done for the historic building; even the liminal spaces like the porch or hallway are spacious, pretty, yet cosy and considerately arranged. There are lots of carefully arranged spaces with ambient lighting in just the right places so you can have a coffee, read a book or have a meal in a cosy spot alone if you're staying with others. Cosy sofa, comfy bed, lovely modern bathroom where I enjoyed a long hot bath. The host was so lovely and goes above and beyond to help. Lots of helpful info to hand in the apartment also. Would love to stay again! Creaky kitchen door and toilet leaking from the bottom, which I assume is known about, but couldn't fault anything else!

• Karzan (10/5): A place to relax and enjoy your day and night time.🥰 - Great view, parking,brilliant bath, owner fully directions and describing the whole apartment access,close by to Halifax beauty town, I travelled quite a lot around EU and UK but this one was the top class place to stay with family. Everything was provided it, so no complaints
• Adam (10/5): Exceptional - Gorgeous view even when raining but especially when the sun is out, really close to Halifax and Leeds for some really great excursions like the Eureka museum, the dales and the castle. The communication was also really good over all we were really happy. The Netflix worked perfectly it was tough to pull the kids away from it.

It has charm, charisma and such a warm feeling to it. Fully equipped kitchen, super comfy bed, and an absolutely stunning bathroom. Good room for storage also. The living room is a lovely space that gives calm vibes. The real show stopper is the view, it is simply immense. You can sit on the balcony and take in the breath taking view, which just goes on for miles! We are already planning our return. Thank you Yvonne. Nothing! Everything was perfect!
