- Michael (8/5): -
- Mike (8/5): - No breakfast option
- Lisa (9/5): Fabulous spot, great value for money - don't hesitate to book, we would stay again. - Fantastic l.ocation to visit Castleton and take advantage of the country walks close by, parking was a real bonus too. Host was friendly and made sure we were comfortable. Room as a very good size, bed was comfortable and there was plenty of team/coffee etc provided. Bathroom was a decent size too. Good standard of cleanliness, warm and cosy room. Short walk to the cafes, pubs and shops. Nothing really, just personal preference to prefer a walk-in shower rather than over the bath - otherwise could not fault Ramblers Rest - we would stay again.
- Deborah (8/5): Great location - Location and the young lady whom helped us when we tried booking in
Gave me some names / locations to eat & drink - very helpful On the website it stated that a welcome box was provided. This was not received
Not sure if it states on the website or not - but we were there 3 days, our room wasn’t checked, cleaned nor our towels changed
Had to ask for more milk (for tea and coffee) we ran out again but felt like it was an inconvenience to ask for more
- Kiera (9/5): -
- Tabitha (10/5): Perfect base for walking in the Peaks - Brilliant location, lovely big, warm, comfy room and bed. Very powerful shower!

- nicola (9/5): Excellent 2 night stay in the heart of the village - Right in the centre of the village. Perfect location. Plus can walk up Mam tor straight from the front door Evertthing was great. But we are both quite big tall people and the room was a little small for us with the sloping ceiling
- Ana (9/5): - The owner was so welcoming and had brilliant local knowledge. She have us pointers on where to dine and even told us of a 40% discount offer at one of the pubs.
Right in the heart of Castleton. Hikes from the front door.
Parking essential in Castleton and they have a car park.

- Jo (7/5): Lovely stay. Great location. - Location excellent. Owners very pleasant. Bathroom very small. Bed felt like it was going to break.
- Dawn (10/5): - Clean and comfy, right in the middle of town with pubs and restaurants, there was a parking space and hiking straight from the door. One minute from a lovely bakery where you can get a take out breakfast and there is a lovely cafe within view from the front door. Nothing I will definitely stay again, we both had a great night sleep.
- ANDREW (9/5): -
- Thomas Patrick (9/5): An excellent stay in a beautiful location hosted by a lovely family. - Excellent location and incredibly friendly hosts. The rooms are a great size and had everything we needed. We did arrive to an issue with our sink, which we were told about before arrival by the owner. This did not end up being a significant issue as the owners went out of their way to provide alternatives to ensure we could still continue to use the room as we would do otherwise
- IAN (8/5): -

He was also happy for us to leave the car a little longer after checkout. Place was very clean and we had some complimentary cereal left for us which was handy. We had the last room which was cosy as described. Worked ok for my friend and I as we're both 5' 3 but taller, larger people could struggle.

- Lisa (8/5): Very enjoyable stay, lovely village, with lovely pubs and good food. - The location was perfect for all the different walks. It was a couple of minutes walk to all the village amenities. I didn’t need to use the car at all.
The breakfast basket had a variety of cereals or croissants with plenty of tea and coffee and the fridge was stocked with milk and orange juice.
The jacuzzi bath was lovely after completing the 12k MamTor/Losehill walk. Smallest criticism the fridge was quite noisy through the night.
