Guest Reviews
- Mark (8/5): Ultimately good…. - Nice decor, lovely cottage, great location, close to pubs, cafes, shops.
Everything you need.
Would stay again, especially now understand how to get best from the cottage.
The village vibe and facilities were a real positive. Parking not simplest, but, easy enough if arrive in daylight. Heating OK, once work out best way to use it….whole experience would have been better if log fire ready to use on arrival with wood. We stayed in winter and arrived late at night, on cold night. Took 24 hrs to work out best way to make cottage warm and cosy (not helped by fact windows not fully closed in living room, which wasn’t immediately obvious at first). TV just doesn’t work properly….needs new Fire stick or ‘something’. Also no Wi-Fi instructions, but we worked that out eventually.

- Suzette (8/5): A comfortable base from which to explore the beautiful coastline. - Very homely and comfortable.
Comfortable bed .
Wood burner.
Very dog friendly, but also clean.
Love Milbrook which has a great bus service to surrounding areas. Little need to use the car. Proximity to road and steep back entrance. Garden very overgrown.
Blind in bathroom did not cover whole length of window. Maybe a frosted glass would be better.
- sharon (8/5): Lovely house but garden and rear access needs attention - The house is lovely. Home from home experience. The garden was extremely disappointing. I know it’s not the time of year to sit out but my husband had to prop up the fence just to get through to the parking space
- James (10/5): - Great location, parking space, lovely bright and clean cottage Nothing
- Lauren (10/5): Lovely short break for our little family. - It was very spacious and clean and had lots of quirky features. Lots of art work and it has a real lovely layout which gives it lots of space. We had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The stairs were a little scary with two children as there isn’t a bannister so you just have to keep a close eye on children at all times. Also there were a few spiders in the bathroom (apologies to the neighbours for screaming when one jumped at me in the bath) other than this the property is beautiful.
- Steve (9/5): - Excellent location for travelling along the coast.

- Anonymous (8/5): Overall, an excellent stay. - We liked the house, location and the village. Didn't find the bed in the small bedroom very comfortable.
- Duncan (8/5): Very good - Beautiful cottage. There is no phone signal. The back garden is steep up to parking space.
- Jennifer (9/5): Superb -
