Guest Reviews
- Pierina (7/5): The hotel was a fix for the night. - Location and the fact that it was really close to Rio Celeste. Also, breakfast was good. Room was too small, I could hear vehicle noises from the room, the hotel did not have surveillance or a person in the reception area in the evening, and the bed sheets ( the ones that are warm) were too short.
- Arpad (8/5): -
- German (8/5): Good hotel near to Rio Celeste - The hotel is very close to Rio Celeste. The food in the restaurant was delicious. They have some activities at a good price. The bed is not too comfortable. The hotel is too close to the main road, so there is some noise during the night.
- Morgane (9/5): -
- Silvia (10/5): - Muy buena relación precio-calidad.
- Cespedes (10/5): - El río, súper chiva. El agua celeste precioso.

- Raluca (9/5): Sueno Real Rio Celeste -nice spot - It 's a pretty nice spot next to Rio Celeste and a good starting point for tubing. There's also a farm with plenty of domestic animals, horses and birds. On the way to the River there were many monkeys. I liked everything.
- Gabriela (10/5): -

Chuveiro bom, tudo limpo Nada
- Lutz P.C. (8/5): Value for money - Lage , eigener Fluss Pool in ca 600m AC extrem laut , fridge extrem laut , mussten trotz hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit die Geräte in der Nacht abschalten
- matt (10/5): Excellent value - Excellent value for the price. It was simple and basic but very clean. The staff were amazing. A short walk to the river. I highly recommend taking the tubing excursion. We had the best time. Nothing. It was great.
- Jorge (10/5): Excelente estancia - Todo. Nada

Nice breakfast, clean rooms
- Suvrat (8/5): -
- Monica (6/5): Simpleza, amabilidad, excelente desayuno.

Alles in allem absolut in Ordnung.
- Daniel (10/5): Amazing place - Incredibly beautiful gem. The sole fact that you have limitless access to Río Celeste elevates the experience of staying at this place. Breakfast is delicious, too. The property is big, I took morning/afternoon strolls to the river. Staff is nice. Food at the restaurant is good, too. There are convenience stores nearby. N/A
- Sara (8/5): Comfortable and clean - Having the private access to the river and the restaurant was good Small beds
- MARIE (9/5): A very pleasant stay near the Rio Celeste - The beauty of the place and the chance to see the celestial Rio and also the monkeys
The kindness of the hosts and the very cuddly dog on the property The lack of storage, no utensils in the kitchen, and unfortunately, the dampness in the bedroom during heavy rains.
- Jeremy (8/5): -
Niets
- Vincent (10/5): -
- Darren (8/5): -
- Aline (10/5): - Excelente atendimento, muitos animais, lugar lindo e acolhedor Demora no café da manhã
- Peter (9/5): it’s great if you would like to stay in the area - good location very friendly staff Great restaurant on site. The four person room is a bit crammed
- Kim (7/5): Great location for Rio Celeste, loved tubing. - Really handy location. Easy to get to. Large restaurant on site. Loved walking down to the river. Spotted toucans, sloths and poison dart frogs. The river was beautiful and blue despite torrential rain a couple of days earlier The onsite activities were great. We did tubing which was so much fun and we were well looked after. Staff were friendly. Our children loved the friendly dog too. The room had a small kitchen are but no equipment. It was a family room with three beds but small with very little space for luggage. It would be better to remove the kitchen and creat a little more space. That said, it was fine for an overnight stay.
- gabriela (9/5): -
- Julie (9/5): - Location was fabulous for visiting Rio Celeste. Great (and cheap!) attached restaurant and lovely breakfast. Great access to the river just 10 minute walk down the track. Fabulous wildlife around the property. Best shower on our travels around Costa Rica so far... reliable hot water supply! Room was small (could only access bed from one side), but was a minor inconvenience only.
- Jose (10/5): - Great location, super great restaurant
- Heymer Carlos (10/5): - La cercanía al Río Celeste
- Scarleth (4/5): Good location, bad value. Half decent room - Good location, helpful staff They don't process the payment with booking; you need to pay on the spot. Also, there was mold on our ceiling, the fridge was stinky, there were a lot of people outside sitting on the bench of our room
- Rob (9/5): Superb -
- Michel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Aguilar (9/5): Superb - The river Little space inside the room
- Ilias (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect stop before going to Rio Celeste.
- Nadine (8/5): Good place to base out off in this area. - The location right on the river and the river tubing tour offering were great. The rooms were clean and spacious although very dated. They could use a refurbish. The staff was friendly. The food at the restaurant was okay but certainly not the best we have had in Costa Rica.
- Lauren (10/5): Comfortable, great food, beautiful grounds - Better than the photos. Comfortable beds, large room with large bathroom and shower, clean, beautiful grounds. The river swimming area is about a half mile walk down the dirt road, or you can drive. I spotted a sloth!! The on site restaurant was amazing. Staff was friendly. Would absolutely recommend!
- Reuven (7/5): Good -
- Denise (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lani (8/5): Wonderful stay with delicious food and comfy rooms - Beautiful access to River. Cute farm animals. Delicious breakfast at on-site restaurant! Rooster crowing from 3 am make it harder to sleep.. need to bring earplugs!
- Martijn (9/5): Superb - We just loved the tubing activity. It was great to be able to swim in the river (you can drive there). Convenient location to see the national park. The restaurant is nice and fairly priced. The pictures look like there is a kitchenette. This is just a tap. It is not possible to prepare meals
- Amit (9/5): Superb - The staff was very helpful, Especially Monica was very kind.
- Olga (9/5): Superb - We chose this small hotel for the proximity to Rio Celeste and it was really good. The room was very clean and staff was very helpful. We booked tubing in the Celeste River and enjoyed it very much. Our guide Jefferson was very good! There is a small restaurant at the property where we had breakfast ( included in the hotel stay price) and dinner, the food was delicious and prices reasonable. The room has a small kitchenette with sink, refrigerator, kitchen table and chairs but nothing else. It would be nice to have some utensils in case you want to cut some fruits or anything else.
- Hollie (8/5): Tubing with Jefferson our guide was the highlight of our stay. - The short walk or drive from rooms through rancho property to rio celeste was very good. Great hangout and swimming hole on the river.
Tubing the river with guide Jefferson who works at hotel is a must. Jefferson is the best and was the highlight of our stay. Casitas were clean and comfortable with kitchenette but nothing in the kitchen, not even a coffee pot, plate or utensils.
Breakfast is at 7 AM and if you’re wanting to enjoy a cup of coffee sitting outside to see the wildlife before 7am, you cannot. I tried to get a coffee at 6:45 in the restaurant and then they told me no!
The breakfast that came with the room was very good, but only one cup of coffee when we asked for a refill, the staff said extra charge! which is ridiculous.
Next morning I asked for jam/jelly for my toast and they said extra charge and ended up giving me pancake syrup.
My recommendation is to put a coffee pot in the room, plates and utensils and don’t charge for a refill of coffee.
- Ilias (10/5): Great to be back after a few years - Second time here after 6 years. Still the same very pleasant motel-style accomodation, but renovated - especially the river zone, that is kind of a mini natural park that alone is worth the stay. Of course this is not a luxury hotel, so if you have super expectations you might search for something else. The furniture might be better, the rooms might be bigger, but if you're searching for a clean place to spend the night and make a walk into the nature before a tour in the National Park Tenorio, then this is the right place.
- Tomer (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing hospitality. The owner is very friendly. The horseback riding was incredible. Facilities are simple but clean and neat. All in all we enjoy it a lot and defiantly will come again. Thank you.
- Matteo (9/5): Superb - the location is great for a few days' stay for the Rio Celeste waterfall. All staff was friendly and welcoming; all the animals on the property are a nice extra too! They kindly arranged for a tubing experience and the guides were also great.
- Amarah (9/5): Great value, great location. Great activities, friendly staff - Animals were fun for the kids. Activities. Tubing was so fun. Rooms were a little small. No frills but great value. Very nice people.
- Ruthie (10/5): Great experience. Highly recommend - The rooms were very clean, the staff was great, the activities on site are awesome (horse back riding and tubing). I was there with my kids and our friends (7 kids between the two families, all different ages) and we had a great time!!
- Jessica (10/5): Exceptional - Loved this cozy little hotel! We arrived too late in the afternoon to do any tubing, but we enjoyed a good meal and walk down to the river. Wonderful little getaway!
- Shimpei (8/5): Very good -
