- wendy (10/5): - Very nice place. Josh was wecoming and very helpful carred our bag upstairs. Room was exceptional. Big bath towels. Very clean . Nice bar area. There was nothing i did not like .maybe a few tweeks. Shower a bit slippy under foot. Maybe a mirror near to hairdryer plug. A guest book to leave comments.
- Lauren (10/5): -
- Paul (7/5): Good location and good room for the price we paid - The room was modern, good location. No proper reception so if we ran out of anything and the bar was closed we couldn’t get it. On the last evening the water was cold so no hot shower. For the money though it was a good stay.
- David (10/5): -
- Rahn (9/5): -
- Gary (4/5): - The fact that you could NOT get fresh air as the small window did not open - a possible health issue - we had wedge the door open periodically.
Unpleasant smell in the room.
Only one bedside light.
Parking was an issue.
- Dawid (6/5): The place with great potential, needs some improvements. - The staff was extremely friendly, sociable, and very helpful. The location is excellent, right next to the castle! We really enjoyed the bar as well as the renovated room with a nice and clean bathroom, all in a modern standard. The room would benefit from better ventilation, as the window could not be opened. The bedsheet felt slightly damp and there was a faint musty smell. The bed was not very comfortable, particularly for an adult. Cleaning could also be improved, as some dust was noticeable.
- Paul (8/5): - Excellent room above a pub. Very quiet in the morning for a relaxing stay N/A
- Dan (10/5): Brilliant rooms, good bar and great staff - Rooms were excellent, clean, spacious and staff very welcoming. No car park and then had to walk up the hill, if you’ve got people struggling with fitness or luggage, drop them off and then park up after.
- Mark (8/5): -
- Carys (8/5): Great location and comfortable stay - Fantastic location, kind hosts, clean room, comfy bed Parking was a bit tricky and limited, it was also a little dark in the room but didn’t bother us as we were barely in the room
- Hannah (9/5): - Very convenient location, friendly staff and a lovely room.
Perfect for our one nights stay!
- lindsey (9/5): Very nice staff amazing room clean good position would stay again - Brilliant location, lovely staff very friendly , lovely pub , room was nicely decorated clean and recently refurbished Not really the properties fault , but lack of parking , and no food
- Kelly (8/5): Staying at Harlech House was great. It's clean, spacious and the perfect basic base for exploring North Wales and Sn - The rooms were clean. Spacious. Comfortable. A beautiful location, so close to one of the best beaches in NW. I feel a microwave for basic cooking would be a huge advantage. And also some food in the bar below would be a huge draw for this as an all round base destination for outdoor lovers.

- Rebecca (9/5): Perfect little night away - Was lovely a cozy the room perfect location to have a wonder round or for the beach, it was suppose to be couple night away but short notice had to bring a friend but we had a great time. Loved the bar downstairs

The staff were all very helpful and welcoming, which made our stay even better.
- Tetiana (10/5): Great place in the heart of Harlech. - Nice little room, clean and neat, friendly personnel and great drinks at the bar. You could see the castle from the front of the property. Had an evening drink with brilliant views
- Ben (8/5): Very good -
- Alan (4/5): It was a disappointing. The room was small and ill equipped for the price paid £237.60 for 2 night without breakfast. - Not much Lights failed and cold water on the last day
- Yvonne (10/5): Fun, friendly, excellent facilities. - Clean, full facilities, staff very friendly and location right in the heart of Harlech.
- Mark (9/5): It was great. Staff especially frendly and helpful. - Modern room, nicely decorated. a bit noisy at bedtime
- Mark (9/5): Superb - Great staff. a bit noisy at bettime
- Robert (10/5): Perfect location for our castles weekend - Location was superb right behind the castle
- Sandra (6/5): Pleasant - The room was lovely. The owner was polite. One of the pillow cases smelt of aftershave, and the duvet cover had a horrible smell. There were no instructions / procedures in the event of a fire anywhere in the room. The front of the premises really needed tidying up.
- Jonathan (9/5): Superb -
- Robert (8/5): Very good -
- David (7/5): Good -
- Gareth (10/5): Great stay in a great location. Amazing pub below also. - Great room and location Nothing, no issues
- Gareth (8/5): Very good - It was quite expensive for a small room with no breakfast but Harlech is a very expensive place to stay anyway.
- Sally (7/5): Served a purpose perfect for my requirements this time - Good location
Comfy bed
Host kept in touch and allowed me to check in early which was nice Window wouldn’t stay open and couldn’t see through it
Musty smell during the night
- Stephen (10/5): Brilliant, Wife was pleased so Happy Wife, happy life. - On arrival staff were friendly and helpful, room was superb and the grounds for walking was very good.
We had evening meal in the restaurant and the service and food was excellent. (Recommend the fish and Chips).
Breakfast was very good and catered for every type of breakfast, waiter was friendly and helpful. No issues everything was above what we expected.
- Aneta (10/5): Exceptional - Recommend , we back there is beautiful place and hotel .
- Govind (7/5): Good -
- Jacinta (10/5): Harlech house is located in abesutuful seaside location - It was very freshly renovated and in a very convenient location. The host Josh was fabulous. I'd highly recommend Harlech House as a great pub to stay in. The only draw back is there is no food available onsite however there are plenty of great cafes in close proximity
- Patrick (9/5): Harlech stay 1 - Lovely room and a very very good shower. Bar not open during my stay, but that's all.
- Chris (9/5): Lovely stay. Nice comfy room. Staff were great and very helpful. -
- Charlotte (8/5): Very good -
- Martin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mcqueen (8/5): very clean and comfortable. - No breakfast included
- Anne (8/5): Pleasant but a little bit more needed - Modern room
Excellent bathroom No chairs in room
No carparking option
No food on site available
- Richard (8/5): Very good - Clean. Comfortable. Excellent location. Able to park nearby. Great shower. A bit lacking in character for an old building. There is some noise, but this was expected as the room is over the small pub.
- Matt (9/5): a very enjoyable 2 night stay a - The location was excellent, just a stones throw away from Harlech Castle. The bar was very quaint and there was an excellent variety of beers son offer. I particularly liked the Cwtch beer produced by Tiny Rebel.
- Mcsorley (1/5): Noisy. Disaster. Loud. Unable to sleep. The music began around 11pm and didn't stop until 3am. - Location was fine. When I found out my room was above what literally sounded like a nightclub.
This disturbance made it incredibly difficult for me to sleep, causing significant stress and affecting my overall well-being. Despite using earplugs and trying to ignore the noise, the loud music and chatter were simply too overwhelming. I had no other option but to pack my bags and leave at around 0310 and make the long drive home whilst extremely tired and emotional.
- Steven (10/5): Exceptional - This is a great little inn to stay at, the rooms are beautifully finished, and spotlessly clean, the host is a really nice guy, and the inn is really really close to the castle at harlech, like really close
- Alfie (8/5): Would go again - Great location and staff
- Timo (8/5): Nice stay and friendly owner - Nice and completely renovated room including bathroom Room could have been a bit bigger and window could not be opened. Steam from bathroom entered sleeping room partly and everything felt damp
- Bjorn (8/5): A pleasant stay for a couple of nights - The look of the room was fresh. The host Josh was excellent Window does not open and is frosted glass so you cannot see what is out there
- Edward (6/5): Pleasant -
- John (9/5): Superb -
- Colin (8/5): Very good -
- David (2/5): One of the worst experiences of poor value for money I have experienced on Booking.com. - Poor for the price. Plumbing in room above was being renovated. Nowhere to sit in the room and no access to anywhere to sit in the property as the bar area was closed during our stay. No breakfast provided.
- M (10/5): Excellent time, service - Everything Nothing
- Ruxandra (9/5): Superb -
- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Phanindra (7/5): Good -
- Harrison (10/5): Would definitely stay again - Was what it said it was on the description, the scenery just a minute down the road was astonishing. Nothing bad at all
