• Daniel (10/5): Lugar increíble - El alojamiento es perfecto, desde la ubicación que está en medio de la naturaleza para desconectar, la historia de ese lugar de lo que era y lo que han conseguido crear conservando la piedra y vigas originales con toda la comodidad de dentro. Tiene unos baños modernos, cocina completa, aerotermia y suelo radiante, poco más se puede pedir para una escapada a la naturaleza, además de la zona de fuera de entretenimiento.

• Ioana (10/5): Perfect getaway for rural luxury - Loved the location (close to the main road but felt away from the crazy world). The house is carefully restored with exposed beams and tasteful furniture., very comfortable bed. The host are always available however very discreet, the perfect combination. Please make sure that you ask them for advice for the places you plan to visit also please ask them to help you purchase local honey :) The house shares a wall with the other house available for rent on the property so you can run the risk of having unpleasant neighbours like in a hotel. However the type of lodging, location and the oversight of the owners reduces this risk closely to zero.

• Susanne (10/5): Traumhaft schöne Unterkunft in wunderschöner Umgebung! - Die Wohnung ist in einem wunderschön restaurierten alten Steinhaus, Alles ist sehr hochwertig und aufwändig renoviert worden und sehr hochwertig, geschmackvoll wie liebevoll, außerdem sehr komfortabel eingerichtet. Es fehlt an nichts, an alles ist gedacht worden. Es liegt sehr ruhig, mit einer herrlichen Umgebung und Aussicht vom Sitzplatz im Außenbereich. Es ist ein Paradies! Amanda und Paul sind super sympathische und hilfsbereite Vermieter! Und sie haben uns mit vielen Aufmerksamkeiten wie einem leckeren Zitronenkuchen und Bier im Kühlschrank empfangen, ganz herzlichen Dank, dass wir eure Gäste sein durften! Alles war großartig!

• Fabian (10/5): Top accomodation with the best hosts possible - What a beautiful location, amazing appartment and such a great and tasteful breakfast (including delicious homemade cake). Amanda and Paul are the best hosts. They did a wonderful job renovating the house and everything was so clean and comfortable. The views are amazing and serene and we even 'met' an owl. We had the best time exploring the area and enjoying the facilities. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Galicia.
• Jeremy (10/5): Outstanding casa with modern facilities - This is a beautifully restored casa in a quiet area of Galicia. We loved the attention to detail that Paul has put into developing the property: in the traditional style but with modern facilities. Amanda and Paul live in a separate house on the plot, so are available and attentive to anything you want. Amanda could not have been more helpful, sending us instructions on how to find the property, providing a generous welcome of food and drink, and giving us suggestions of places to visit. We loved the quietness of the area and the sense of peace, the super comfy bed and huge bedroom, the view from the terrace and the modern and functional shower room and kitchen. It does take a while for hot water to come through, but the booklet explains why, and full marks to Paul for using an air source heat pump and placing it out of earshot of the bedroom, thus keeping the nights silent.

Comfortable beds and bedding. Set in a very peaceful area of Galicia and not far from a coastline of amazing beaches. The hosts were great Nothing not to like

Both Amanda & Paul are exceptional people that make you feel so welcome that you don’t want to leav - The hosts Amanda & Paul are very welcoming, warm and kind and a simply great couple … the best hosts that we have had in our many years of travel. It was a lovely stone house with a cosy fire, windows that looked over the valley, very comfy bed, quality linens, in a large timbered bedroom, kitchen was well equipped with everything you could possibly need for making your own meals. Both a downstairs and upstairs bathroom, truly a gem of a place, quiet, peaceful, rural yet close to good-sized cities. But really it was Amanda and Paul who made our two weeks wonderful and memorable.

• Maria (10/5): Idyllic mountain retreat in beautifully restored house - Lovely mountain retreat in tiny hamlet just south of the town of A Pontenova. Great firework display in the town at midnight on 7th Oct ( local fiesta). House is beautifully and sensitively restored/ modernised with natural local stone and wood (chestnut), to a very high standard. Great circular walks from the house ranging from 1hr to as long as you want. Nearest shops/ restaurants are a 5-10 min drive in A Pontenova. Amanda and Paul are very helpful and generous, without intruding. You couldn't ask for better hosts. Thank you

• Tom (10/5): If you want quiet and rest and good walks and fresh air and fine people, this is the place. - The hosts, Amanda and Paul are really very kind in the deftest, most inconspicuous way: naturally friendly. I'm very grateful to them. The location is wonderful, nearly at the head of a wooded valley which is both beautiful and absolutely quiet. The broader area is excellent for walks. The traditional Galician house I slept in has been restored very sensitively and beautifully... I don't think I've ever slept better in my life. I attribute this to the location in the valley and the calm induced by being surrounded in the house by natural wood, mostly chestnut - the traditional building material in these parts. There might have been less rain... but on the other hand that's what makes Galicia so richly green... so I can't complain. It's part of the deal.

• David (10/5): Beautiful House Surrounded by Perfect Scenery - We were made to feel very welcome at the house even before we arrived with very precise directions given to us to help us find the house with utmost ease. Furthermore, the owners had prepared a delicious cake & left nice coffee & milk for us on arrival which was very much appreciated especially as we arrived on a Sunday when the shops were closed. Paul and Amanda were also very helpful in answering any queries that we had throughout our stay. The house itself was really beautiful & decorated in very good taste & impeccably clean and it felt like being at home every time that we returned at the end of our day. it was also nice and warm, something which was greatly appreciated as we arrived in the middle of winter. The village of Liñeiras & surrounding area was very pretty and also very quiet which we were delighted with as we were looking for some tranquility since the rest of the year we have to work in a big city. We loved the walks in the surrounding countryside and it was so nice to see all the wildlife and especially to hear the owl in the night. All together, we had a wonderful stay. Nothing at all
