• Marga (9/5): Prachtig uitzicht, met een alleraardigste gastheer/gastvrouw! - alleraardigste gastheer/gastvrouw, die helaas geen Engels konden (de dochter verbleef nog in Tirana), maar je redt je wel. Toen we om een klein hapje vroegen, kregen we een complete lunch voorgeschoteld. Dat is natuurlijk hartverwarmend. Ook het ontbijt was heerlijk, we konden lekker buiten zitten, genietend van een erg mooi uitzicht. 's Avonds werd door de gastvrouw voor ons gekookt, waar we erg van genoten hebben. Ca een kwartiertje vanaf het centrum van Teth, voor ons te ver om te lopen. Wij hadden de kleinste kamer, waar we eigenlijk net wat te weinig ruimte hadden voor onze koffers, om die fatsoenlijk neer te zetten. Maar ook dat lost zich wel op.

• Georg (9/5): Sehr schöne Pension mit wunderschöner Aussicht und herzlichen Betreibern - Die familiär geführte Pension ist sehr schön gelegen, mit toller Aussicht und sehr nettem Ehepaar, das die Pension führt. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker, das Zimmer klein aber funktional. Optional kann man das Abendessen hinzubestellen, zu einem guten Preis und bestand aus vielen leckeren traditionellen Gerichten. Die Matratzen waren sehr fest.

• Vata (10/5): - Ho avuto un’esperienza davvero piacevole in questa struttura. L’ambiente è molto accogliente e curato, perfetto per chi cerca tranquillità e relax. Le camere sono pulite, spaziose e ben arredate, con tutti i comfort necessari.Il personale è stato estremamente gentile e disponibile, sempre pronto ad aiutare con qualsiasi richiesta. Anche la posizione è ottima, vicina ai principali punti di interesse ma allo stesso tempo lontana dal caos.La colazione era deliziosa, con prodotti freschi e locali. Consiglio vivamente questo posto a chiunque voglia trascorrere un soggiorno piacevole e rilassante. Sicuramente tornerò!

• noelia (8/5): Bonitas vistas - El desayuno era muy abundante, aunque como está en plena naturaleza, vienen todas las abejas. Está renovado y limpio. Tiene una terraza con unas vistas preciosas. Está algo alejado de theth, a unos 15 minutos en coche. Hay que pagar en efectivo, ya que no tienen posibilidad de credit card. La ducha está incorporada en el baño, por lo tanto se moja todo el suelo.

Die Wespen beim Frühstück (wofür der Gastgeber aber keine Schuld hat 😉), das Stromnetz in Theth ist allgemein relativ schwankend und instabil, weshalb das Licht teilweise nur sehr sehr schwach war -> ist man aber schnell gewöhnt

• Victor (4/5): - Comfortable beds and nice view from the terrace. Breakfast and dinner are very generous No soundproofing, we could hear everything in the building, including the kitchen… It’s quiet between 10:30pm and 7am The bathroom was still under renovation, the shower has no door or curtain therefore there is water everywhere. Language barrier was an issue. Breakfast and dinner time is not flexible. Breakfast starts around 7:40am until 9am and dinner starts around 7:30/8pm. Good location if you have a car but if you don’t, note that it takes 50min to walk down to Theth. There were so many wasps that couldn’t really enjoy our breakfast. They need to install wasp trap.
• Avo (8/5): Kuna läksime loodusesse ja seiklema, siis on küik OK:-) - Hommikusöök oli väga hea ja pererahvas oli super, väga sõbralikud ja toredad. Meil juhtus ka äpardus, lahkusime ilma maksmata eeldades, et booking võttis raha krediitkaardilt. Ja kui avastasin pererahva sõnumi, et lahkusime maksmata, olime juba Shköderis. Aga jätsime raha sealse hotellipersonali kätte ja loodetavasti on see tänaseks kenasti Davisoli pererahva takus:-) Tubade helikindlus oli halb. Meie toas oli dushiruumi põranda kalle väga vale, st vesi voolas sinna kuhu ei pidanud voolama ja valamu oli kaldlae all, st hambaid pestes normaalselt püsti seista ei saanud. Ma loodan, et meil oli lihtsalt halb õnn toaga:-)

It’s a cosy place to stay if you like to be amongst the locals, which is typically what my spouse and I highly prefer to acquaint to their lifestyle at its best. Theth offers a lot, don’t miss it when you visit Albania ! -

• Leyre (4/5): Decepcionante - Parecía mejor en las fotos, no tenía nada que ver con lo publicado. Lo bueno, los dueños eran súper agradables y nos pusieron una cena y un desayuno muy rico. No nos dieron la habitación que habíamos reservado, era más pequeña. Caían gotas del techo, cuando se duchaban los de la habitación de arriba. Nos dijeron que la cena eran 10€ persona y por la mañana nos cobraron 15€ persona y no nos descontaron nada por todo lo anterior..

Those that have already been renovated are very nice. Cleanliness could be improved; in our room, there were used tissues behind the curtains and a water bottle. The soundproofing in the rooms could also be improved, as we could hear a lot of noise.

El lavabo es molt petit, i la dutxa no està separada (mulles tot el labavo i s’ha d’escombrar amb fregona cada vegada), no apte per persones altes. Les finestres no tenen persiana ni cortines. No està al centre del poble.

La ducha no tiene mampara, pero te dan un cepillo para quitar el agua.

• Maria Victoria (10/5): El mejor alojamiento que tuvimos en Albania - La familia es súper amable. La aerolínea nos perdió la maleta, y llamaron por nosotros al aeropuerto para ver dónde estaba y cómo gestionar el envío. La cena casera es espectacular. Y el desayuno, todavía mejor. Las vistas son espectaculares, tanto de día como de noche. Todo estaba súper limpio. Son super educados y te hacen sentir como en casa. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente.
• Lucy (8/5): Penzion s vynikající kuchyní a výhledem na Theth - Příjemný penzion s terasou s parádním výhledem na Theth. Fantastická kuchyně s využitím lokálních produktů. Bohatá snídaně a skvělá večeře o několika chodech za 15 EUR. Velmi pěkný pokoj a pohodlné postele. Mladý personál (asi vnoučata paní co vaří tx dobroty) byl milý, holčina mluví výborně anglicky. I přes drobné nedokonalosti ubytování určitě doporučujeme. Dobrý poměr výkon x cena. Díky aktuální výstavbě dalších pokojů nás trochu vyděsil nepořádek před vchodem. Také koupelna je nedokončená (a nebyla dle našich měřítek dobře uklizená). Nedostatek úložných/odkládacích ploch/nábytku v pokoji i koupelně. Věšák na ručníky vypadává ze zdi, světlo nad umyvadlem nesvítí, čouhající dráty ze zdi, neutřený prach a piliny ze stavby. Věříme, že toto je dočasné.

• Falk (10/5): - Wir waren zu viert als Familie für knapp eine Woche in dieser Unterkunft und es war fantastisch! Die gastgebende Familie ist wunderbar - herzlich, fürsorglich und stets auf die Bedürfnisse der Gäste eingehend. Wir hatten ein gemeinsames Zimmer gebucht, das groß genug, sauber und ordentlich war. Wir fühlten uns von Beginn an sehr wohl und willkommen. Das Frühstück ist lecker und ausreichend; und wir haben auch unsere Abendessen dort eingenommen - schon um den traumhaften Ausblick während der Mahlzeiten zu genießen, aber auch, weil die Gastgeber wunderbare Köche sind und wir die albanische Küche so kennenlernen und probieren konnten. Die Lage des Hauses ist perfekt für einsame Wanderungen in der Umgebung, zum Blue Eye (wo dann schon etwas mehr Menschen unterwegs sind) oder einfach nur zum Entspannen. Wir haben es geliebt, das noch so unberührte Nordalbanien zu bereisen (auch wenn die touristische Aufbruchstimmung schon überall spürbar ist).

The view over Theth was stunning and the staff was super accommodating and helpful during our days there. The breakfast and dinner were delicious. • jurriën (7/5): Boven in de bergen. - Het uitzicht vanaf het terras is geweldig, De gastvrouw heeft voor on eten gekookt wat heerlijk was Het bed lag prima . Het ontbijt was traditioneel en vers bereidt. Het is moeilijk te vinden het bord langs de weg is onleesbaar en je ziet vanaf de straat alleen maar een dak en een restaurant met een andere naam vandaar dat we doorgereden zijn naar een paar keer keren en vragen uiteindelijk gevonden . Hoewel het s'nachts erg stil is hoor je alleen de geluiden van de kamer naast je ( en volgens mij een paar muizen ).

Les dîners et petit déjeuners copieux et délicieux. La vue superbe. La douche pas très pratique mais tout à fait acceptable pour un séjour de randonnée dans les montagnes.

The breakfast and dinners were a highlight - delicious, healthy, fresh and generous portions. The bathroom has hot water and good water pressure. The guest house is about 45 minute walk from town, but it’s worth the walk! Our first night was quite hot, I’d recommend a small fan for the summer nights to improve airflow.

Nos ayudaron a reservar el transporte de theth a skhoder En general en el pueblo de theth los alojamientos están muy desperdigados a lo largo del pueblo y la carretera, en este caso el alojamiento está arriba de la carretera y cuando llegas después de la ruta de valbona todavía tienes que caminar 1h más cuesta arriba por la carretera; por lo que si os alojais aquí mirad un taxi o algo para subir al alojamiento

• Esther (8/5): Fijn verblijf op de doorgaande weg richting Theth - Een fijn verblijf bij een zeer gastvrije en vriendelijke familie. We hadden een mooie ruime kamer. Alles was zeer schoon, de badkamer was alleen niet heel handig ivm wat wateroverlast bij douche en lichte rioolgeur. Heerlijk en gevarieerd ontbijt! De badkamer

Het uitzicht vanaf het terrein is fenomenaal. Ook is er voldoende parkeergelegenheid. Het onderhoud van de kamer had beter gekund, zoals een losse leiding in de badkamer en een kleine lekkage bij het raam.

Très bons repas, en quantité largement suffisante. Le soir il faisait un peu frais et la cheminée a été allumée (en juillet) pour un maximum de confort, hôtes attentionnés. L'isolation acoustique semblait légère car on entendait dans les chambres à côté et au-dessus. Cependant les autres personnes hébergées étaient respectueuses et il s'agissait surtout des bruits d'écoulement d'eau, discussions (sans que cela parle fort et pas dans la nuit), ...

Nėra kondicionieriaus, tad dviviečiame kambaryje buvo labai karšta. Triviečiame kambaryje, kur miegojo vaikai, buvo vėsiau. Jei keliausite vėsesniu metu, tai nebus trūkumas.

• Julia (6/5): Fine for a night - The location was nice, if you have a car it’s easy to drive down into Theth. There was parking on the premises, which was convenient. The room itself was adequate and the bathroom had cute tiles. The view from the patio was incredible, as well as from the room on the fourth floor. Breakfast included a big pitcher of mountain tea, which I really enjoyed every morning. The kids work hard and speak English well. Several things left us disappointed with this guesthouse. Firstly, the owners didn’t speak any English, and while the kids tried their best to help, we just didn’t feel the connection and hospitality that we’ve experienced at other guesthouses in Albania. We tried to make some efforts but in the end, it just felt kind of awkward. Moreover, there were power outages, which is understandable due to the location, but at some point the water just stopped working for an hour when we wanted to shower. When we tried to communicate with the host about it, he couldn’t really explain and just shrugged his shoulders. Additionally, when we took a shower one day, we had to stop because the water was going through the floor and coming down into the room below us. The breakfast was nice, but very heavy with fried doughnuts and there was no variation in the 5 days we stayed there. We really wanted to like this place, but it just wasn’t our favorite.

• Mariko (10/5): excellent stay outside of the main area. - This is a beautiful location outside of town. You are about 10 minutes up the hill from the main area. But, the location, view, food and rooms were outstanding.
• Katleen (7/5): - The location and view are beautiful. Very friendly people. Delicious dinner. The family room was quite small for 4 persons. And the bathroom was not so nice.
• halo14 (9/5): Estupendas vistas - El personal fue muy atento. Nos ayudaron a gestionar el transporte hacia Skoder al día siguiente. Desayuno y cena espectacular. Vistas maravillosas. Necesitas coche para llegar.

• Edina (7/5): - A házigazdák nagyon kedvesek, minden kérésünket teljesítették. A kilátás is gyönyörű. A szállásnak saját parkolója van. Az épületben jelenleg építkezés volt, a személyzet az ablakunk előtti teraszon lakott, így behúzott függönyökkel kellett ott tartózkodnunk.

• Jennifer (8/5): Relaxing Theth spot - We loved the view from Vila Davisol and really enjoyed the breakfast. The room was cosy and the location was very quiet and relaxing after the hike from Valbone. Just keep in mind that it’s about a 5km uphill walk from the end of the Valbone-Theth hike so would recommend getting a taxi (€10-20). We took taxis into town for dinner and for the bus as well which also cost more €.

• Jürgen (7/5): Grandiose Aussicht, Zimmer geht so - Die Lage und die Aussicht sind grandios. Die Oma kocht gut (allerdings viel zu viel), der Enkel übernimmt das Geschäftliche. Unser Zimmer mit 3 Betten war im 2. Stock. Es gab 2 kleine Fenster, von denen sich das eine nur schwer öffnen ließ, da es am Bettrahmen hängenblieb. Das Bad ist mini, die Dusche hat keine Abgrenzung zum Waschbecken und zur Toilette, so dass bei Benutzung das ganze Bad unter Wasser steht. Außerdem riecht es im Bad stark modrig, was wohl an den Abflüssen liegt (dies hat uns unser Zimmernachbar ebenfalls von seinem Bad berichtet).
• Patricia (9/5): - Une famille accueillante et adorable. Vue sur la montagne magnifique. Option repas du soir servi généreusement, il faut avoir de l'appétit pour ce bon repas traditionnel. Isolation phonique inexistante
