• Anita (10/5): Treasure in nature, yet close to town - Absolutely loved my stay at the Bello Cottage! It is close to town yet private and no one is around to distract you from slowing down and relax. The deck is gorgeous and even when it rains you can sit outside, drink chai and read a book. My little dog loved it also, and felt at home straight away (because I did). Everything you need is there, even the littlest things in the kitchen. I'll be back! Thank you Jess and Sue!

• Lacey (7/5): Lovely location in Bellingen - Really nice location, super close to town and the yard was really nice for our dogs to wander around. Loved enjoying a glass of wine on the porch at sunset. I wish the pet policy was more up front before you book. We booked because it was pet friendly, but you actually are not allowed to leave your pets unattended - even for short periods of time. My dogs are not very well behaved at restaurants/cafes, and it would have been a lot easier to be able to leave them secured in the house when we were out. I totally understand not leaving them for long periods of time, but it did make things a bit difficult for us, I had to pay a kennel to look after my pets for a day, which was not ideal.
• Alison (8/5): A lovely quiet stay in the suburbs of Bellingen. - It was quiet and private. A lovely verandah to sit on. The place is comfortable but not modern, definitely has an old feel. Would be very suitable for dogs and easy access throughout for those unsteady on their feet.
• gary (10/5): Beautiful cottage in a delightful town - Very comfortable, well equipped, absolutely quiet and private accommodation; it felt like it was in the middle of a rainforest, not in the garden of a home. Gorgeous deck, lovely for morning cuppa. Towels, linen, toiletries high quality. We didn’t want to go home. We sincerely wish our stay could have been longer.

• SHAUNA (10/5): - Clear instructions for arrival. The cottage was a delight. After all the walking and climbing of parks and waterfalls, it was an absolute delight to come back to the cottage. All you could possibly want to relax and just enjoy the environment. Lots of fabulous touches that just made this a memorable trip. Couldn't think of a thing.
• Georgia (9/5): Looking forward to returning soon! - Beautiful, quiet and relaxing. Perfect location just minutes from town. We loved the deck, the bed was very comfortable and we had plenty of space. Our host was very helpful!

We actually wished we had more time to spend sitting around on the porch in the sun. Cottage felt very private due to clever planting. Lovely ‘garden green screen’ outlook from patio area. We were pulling a trailer - plenty of room on street for easy parking.

Doona on bed was probably old and extremely heavy weight.Fortunately there was a light blanket in the cupboard and it is summer. Doona needs replacing with a more modern light but warm version for winter use.
• Sharron (9/5): Home comforts for family and pet. - Lovely cottage. Beautiful gardens. Friendly welcome. Home comforts. Privacy. Super pet friendly. Well catered with quality tea and coffee, plus cereal. The cottage was great. 3 minute drive to town centre, probably 15min walk. Only downside, (not Bello's fault) we arrived Monday pm only to find not much opened for dinner except the pub and one takeaway. The upside, the cottage had a fully equipped kitchen and the local IGA gave us some options for self catering.

• Rose (10/5): An enjoyable & relaxing one night stay to break our road trip - This property has a ramp access, which is suitable due to my reduced mobility. There was also a lovely, large verandah off the bedroom and living area overlooking the small garden which could be screened off from the main house creating privacy despite the main house being rather close, and a jack & jill bathroom servicing both rooms with beds.
• Megan (10/5): Peaceful relaxing dog friendly getaway - Lovely private comfortable garden cottage Great that it was dog friendly with a dog bed & bowl provided, secure, good parking, very comfortable bed and lounge Gates on the deck would be great to contain dogs, I couldn’t get bedroom ceiling fan to work, full size fridge with freezer would be beneficial as kitchen facilities were excellent Wifi extender so house wifi was more consistent in the cottage would be useful for those trying to connect to work while away
• Lisa (10/5): Exceptional - This was a beautiful and spacious cottage with a separate bedroom. It was very nicely decorated with original art, quality linens, etc. and had a very homey feel. A long veranda runs the length of it, opening onto a lovely, quiet, and (when we were there) fragrant garden. We loved our one-night stop there, en route to Barrington Tops NP via the Waterfall Route.
