- Talia (10/5): The most magical romantic stay for two - Gaynor was the most lovely host she instantly made us feel so welcome, even picking us up from the bus stop and letting us have a flexible check in. The hut was absolutely gorgeous surrounded by nature and loved the bbq and fire it was so special and like a hidden gem we had all to ourselves. Great activities nearby we went to the vineyard too. So so amazing couldn’t recommend enough! Honestly can’t fault anything !
- Michael (8/5): Romantic cozy lovely atmosphere perfect location - Very nice location, nice and clean. Perfect for a romantic weekend, good parking and friendly atmosphere I just wish the toilet was in or next to the hut
- Everett (10/5): -
- Rebecca (10/5): Lovely shepherds hut - Beautiful, cosy little hut in an idyllic setting. It was so peaceful and Audrey was wonderful host. The extra little touches, like a flask of milk for our morning cups of tea were really appreciated. We wished we could stay another night! Nothing!
- Jane (10/5): -
- Emma (10/5): We had an amazing overnight stay in the shepherds hut! Could not fault anything and Gaynor was so lovely and kind. Will - The area, views, cleanliness and welcoming host!

- Vishal (10/5): Exceptional - Everything! Gaynor is am amazing host, the hut is impeccable, and the grounds are beautifully picturesque.
- Wayne (10/5): Exceptional - Wow, a little gem right in the heart of the country, the shepards hut is classed as the bedroom with a log burner (very cosy) and then you have use of the lodge, which contains, the toilet, kitchen, lounge and shower, very spacious, clean and well done up, the host is welcoming and knowledgeable of the area.
- Michelle (10/5): Really great place to stay and tenterden is amazing - Cosy and great location A small tv would have been nice. Just to be able to lie in bed a bit longer.
- Adrienne (8/5): Gaynor was very accommodating and helpful. A little gem in the countryside - Beautiful setting and peaceful
- Leanne (9/5): We only stayed one night but left very relaxed and rejuvenated! - It is extremely relaxing. Almost like indoor/outdoor living. Much better than a hotel room with no outdoor space! We felt this way despite the rainy weather!
In the evening we cooked our own dinner and played board games over a bottle of wine in the facilities provided. Nobody else in sight! So quiet and peaceful! It’s not a negative but you do have to be ok with the occasional person sharing the facilities with you (during the day only). You need to be able to get ready for the day quickly and not need a lot of space to do so. If that’s good for you. then absolutely superb property!
- Tom (10/5): A beautiful, idyllic hideaway- would definitely return! - Great ambience, lovely host and amazing views! It felt so secluded and we had the most amazing time.
- Sereena (10/5): Peaceful and beautiful trip! Gaynor is a fabulous host! - Gaynor is a fantastic host! She was super helpful and kind, she was very accommodating ensuring our stay was seamless The property and surroundings are beautiful and very private. The kitchen and bathroom located in the fishery are a great size, super clean and just a stone throw away from the shepherd’s hut - absolutely nothing to worry about in terms of distance from your bedroom.
The area is so peaceful and it was the perfect break away. Would 100% recommend! Book with confidence!

- Gray (10/5): Relaxing, cosy, a bit different - Loved the rural setting , quaintness of the hut Short walk to the toilet
- Joanna (10/5): Perfect place to recharge the batteries, stunning location, fantastic host - A stunning location, close to town but quiet and the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the surroundings. Gaynor had thought of everything in the hut to ensure a comfortable stay. The little attentions to detail really made our stay a very pleasant one. Can't wait to return We only booked one night, most definitely needed two!
- Yasmin (10/5): Exceptional - It was wonderful, very unusual. The setting was beautiful, in gorgeous lush countryside with sheep in the next field. We stayed in the hut and the facilities were across the way. There was a lovely lake view and plenty of seating to enjoy it. It was so comfortable and the host was helpful with great suggestions to make our stay more enjoyable. We liked everything, there were lots of thoughtful touches and we were made to feel very welcome. A memorable stay, we hope to return in the future. It was idyllic, strongly recommend
