- Annie (9/5): Highly recommend cosy cottage - Nicely decorated with Christmas additions. Clean, cosy and warm. Delicious breakfast choices. Parking on road nearby. Great shower. Quick walk to beach and cove inn pub. We had problems connecting to the tv apps. Could only get bbc and our prime.

- Deborah (10/5): - Beautiful, cosy little cottage seconds away from the sea.
- Steve (10/5): SUPERB!!!!! - What a beautiful place. Home from home. Keybox code entry. On arrival, heating and soft lighting on, so welcoming . Lovely note from Carole and a really nice breakfast basket. Could not have asked for anything else. Spotlessly clean. Should have booked another night. Oh well, we'll be back. No complaints. This beautiful cottage is situated on a narrow lane. Fine to unload the car, but then need to find on street parking. Didn't have a problem but good to know.
- Myriam (10/5): - Tout était parfait 👍. Joli et propre , fonctionnel. Une adresse à conserver ! Hôte très réactive et sympathique. Rien
- Karina (10/5): - Great property The TV was small

- Luca (10/5): Charming cozy cottage! Look no further! - Definitely a 10 for me!
The property is super cozy, super clean and in a great location very close to the beach and local pubs. Still in a very quiet narrow road where I think you’ll hardly ever see any cars driving through.
I loved the attention to detail and the kindness and great communication of Carole via messages.
A generous breakfast is included. I have nothing to mention here

- Clare (9/5): A really comfortable stay at a lovely little cottage - Carole was a really great host - kind and thoughtful and with very good communication. She really takes care of her property and it was spotlessly clean. The cottage was very comfortable with everything we needed. On a very quiet street with parking around the corner. We'd definitely like to return and were very happy with our stay, thank you. Everything was great
- Terry (10/5): Outstanding - Beautifully presented little cottage, excellent location, quirky touches in the rooms. Attention to detail outstanding! Breakfast was good too, as was the helpful contact with Carole, the owner.
Will definitely stay here again. Nothing
- Simon (10/5): Fantastic overnight stay - Lovely well appointed cottage in perfect location. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Generous breakfast provided. Great value for money. Thank you Carole 😊 Nothing to dislike
- Stacey (8/5): -
- Jonathan (8/5): If you want a cosy seaside cottage this place is perfect! - The cottage is well maintained and clean. It has everything one might need in the kitchen and easy heating controls. The breakfast provision was great with plenty of options - eggs, fresh bread, milk, butter, jams, orange juice, fruit, croissants, muffins and even donuts.
- Fran (8/5): Beautiful quaint quirky cottage for a cosy few days away. - Cute little cottage on a tiny, quiet 1 way street.
Cosy home from home feel inside, with everything you need for a few days away, including an amazing breakfast selection.
Short walk to pubs, takeaways and co-op.
Inside is lovely, with a full kitchen and cute decor throughout.
Open the bedroom window to listen to the sea 😊 The bed only just fits in the bedroom (quaint old cottage) and one side of the bed is very close to the door. Some people may struggle with this.
Parking was a challenge on the Friday we arrived, clearly peak time for people away for the weekend. Sunday evening it was much easier to find parking a short walk away.
- Sheryl (10/5): Perfect - As we was walking the SouthWest Coast Path we had not food with us so it was a lovely surprise to find tea, coffee and milk. A wonderful fresh Loaf, butter, wonderful cookies and fresh pain de chocolate, also general cereal and fresh orange juice. Would recommend and if visiting the area again would consider using again. We was very happy with everything so nothing did we dislike
- Jacki (9/5): - Beautifully presented either everything i needed. Bed was quite uncomfortable, but otherwise everything else was lovely.
- Udari (10/5): - Everything was well organised. The cottage was cute and super clean. The breakfast was wonderful as well.
Nulla
- Kayleigh (8/5): Comfortable and cosy - The cottage was very clean and cosy. Carole was so welcoming and had left us some treats and items for breakfast which was a lovely touch. A very short walk to the beach, pub and chippy and then Lidl and the marina within 15-20min walk.
15min drive to Portland Bill which had the most amazing sunsets.
We met some lovely people whilst out walking and went to places in the surrounding area upon their recommendation. Tyneham Village was eerily beautiful and the beach...STUNNING!
We also went for breakfast at Jailhouse Diner and then walked the coastal path for a while (steep decent and climb back up) and were lucky enough to see a Peregrine Falcon :-) Many people had stayed only a night or two, but for us (staying 2 weeks) there was not a great deal of storage for clothes or food in the kitchen.
There was a chest of drawers downstairs but its age made it smelled a bit musty so we didn't use it.
Parking wasnt always easy and the road leading to Clements Lane has cars parked on both sides which can sometimes make it tight with a larger car. However we did manage to park near the top of the lane most days.
- Syed (10/5): -
- Michelle (10/5): Gem of a traditional cottage - Absolutely a little gem of a cottage
Beautifully well presented
Very clean and tidy
Amazing quality fresh breakfast items supplied
Yummy sweet treats also much appreciated after our long drive
A really lovely home from home
We totally enjoyed our stay and absolutely recommend We loved everything
Tiny thing is the parking that some people may struggle with however I would like to reassure everyone that in high season we found a space on the road every evening there is also a car park close by
- Hana (10/5): Užili jsme si pěkný pobyt. Přestože je hlavní sezona, nebylo zde mnoho turistů.Pláž byla oblázková a nevelké množství li - Krásný, malý domek, pár kroků od moře. Klid , čisté moře a mnoho tras pro vycházky z výhledy. Postel je trochu menší, než jsme zvyklí. V kuchyni chybí nepřilnavá pánev.
- DArcey (10/5): It was the perfect place, easy to get to, lots of parking, centrally located. - The breakfast was really great. We had everything we needed Loved everything
- Anonymous (10/5): Very enjoyable and comfy stay - Cabin Cottage has everything you need for a perfect stay.It was immaculate and very tastefully decorated.
The kitchen was very well equipped and very clean.
We were amazed at the amount of breakfast items there ,eggs bread ,yoghurt, pancakes ,crumpets, jam ,cereal, milk, bananas ,apples. We were happy with a couple of breakfast items and the milk, tea and coffee appreciated after a long drive. The bed was comfortable and a fan had been left on for us as it had been a very hot day. Te cottage is down a narrow road and we had a bit of a headache when we arrived to try and park our large car as the roads are very narrow and it was a busy time but sorted it eventually.
- Cressida (8/5): Very good - very generous provisions for breakfast and snacks
- Charlie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dawn (10/5): Lovely - Clean cosy quite had everything we needed.
- Norbert (10/5): Exceptional - I loved the beautiful flat with everything I needed after a long day of hiking on the coastal path.
- Hazel (10/5): A lovely little cottage with everything you need. - Home from home, had everything we needed.
Owner provided a generous amount of food/drink for breakfast which was delicious and most welcome.
- Gerard (8/5): Perfect for a night or two. Friendly owner ! - Very generous breakfast ingredients left and good quality . Was enough for a couple of lunches too!
Close proximity to the near by cove which was a lovely way to spend the afternoon . Due to the heatwave it was very hot and the fan provided wasn’t that effective but not bad enough to bother the owners wish it had a little outside area of its own but the park and cove were very close.
- Cranmer (10/5): Exceptional - Easy to get to
Peaceful
Really enjoyed it would stay again
- Dave (10/5): We’ll set great communication from owner and a very good chippy nearby parking was no hassle - Immaculate inside everything I could have wanted nice breakfast that I had to have on the go as the bed was so comfortable I overslept a bit
Would love go stay again
Many many thanks Nothing
- James (10/5): A Brilliant Little Home from Home - It was a lovely home from home. The owners communications were brilliant and the little touches inside really made it extra special. We loved the nautical theme and decor and there was a great breakfast provided as well as everything you needed to self cater. Nothing! No complaints!
- Matthew (9/5): Superb - Very kind and accommodating host that ensured we knew how to convert the lounge into a sleeper for our children.
Good access to a car park and to the coop to pick up additional food.
Solid WiFi and smart TV.
Well-equipped kitchen. needs an indoor or outdoor rack to dry clothes if washer is used
food a bit limited, with some open containers of perishable food
- Wilson (10/5): Exceptional -
- Renata (10/5): Your dream weekend cottage far away from busy life in City :) - We loved this place, cosy and perfect for 2 people. Our dream weekend cottage :) This cabin cottage has home and warm feeling. It's near by everything - beach, pubs, shops...
The host provides plenty of towels, nice breakfast too.
There was a cute bird around in the morning and during day...It gives you the touch of nature/fauna :)
Design and decoration very well fit to this beautiful cottage.
We loved our staying there so much, that we joked we could move in forever, ha ha! :D
It's amazing!
Thank you Nothing
- Kim (9/5): Superb - Very clean, had everything we wanted, the shower and water pressure was fantastic 😊 Nothing
- Victoria (10/5): Exceptional - Wonderfully characterful one-up, one-down fisherman’s cottage on a quiet pedestrian backstreet yards from the beach - dinky but full of charm and beautifully turned out. Host left extremely generous breakfast supplies.
- Rosanna (8/5): Very good -
- John (9/5): Superb -
- Rebekah (10/5): Exceptional - The location is perfect and cosy little cottage great for the long weekend diving! The breakfast items and hand written note were a lovely touch. Also the wagtail greeting you at the door every morning was very sweet. I will definetly be saving and staying again for my future dive trips! Thank you! Nothing
- Penelope (10/5): Home from home - Very cosy, attractive and well equipped cottage. Excellent breakfast materials left which were really appreciated as was part way through coastal walking break so had no supplies with me! Interesting local area and great jumping off point for Isle of Portland sights. Nothing
- Sam (10/5): Exceptional -
- Phillip (9/5): Superb - Cosy little cottage with a great location for exploring Portland and the Dorset coast.
- Alex (10/5): Loved our stay at cabin cottage , we witnesses the most beautiful sunset at Portland Bill . - Property was clean and presented well very quaint ,bed was comfortable .hot shower clean towels .nice breakfast left for us by the host with a written personal note.
- Chris (9/5): Superb -
- Wilson (10/5): Fantastic - Lovely space. Close to amenities and the host was exceptional.
- Nick (9/5): Well named, well designed cabin cottage - Nice setup for two. What it lacks in views( and maybe... space)...it makes up for it lots of little ways. In fact space was fine for two, especially for just the one night, I guess. The pub( just down the no-car lane and across the road ) has nice sunsets over chisel Bay and was great plus the "no parking" was not an issue in the first week of April. The owner provided lots of food which was most welcome although there were shops which were near
The round the isle walk was great. We liked the sculpture

- Alex (10/5): Beautiful small cottage. Very clean. Lovely decor. - The owner had left a lovely breakfast and very clear instructions. Nothing
- Anne (8/5): Made a nice stop for a minibreak - Proximity and character Mattress didn’t fit the bed base, five foot mattress would of been better but that’s purely a preference
- Andrew (9/5): Superb -
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kimberly (10/5): Charming little cottage down a quiet lane, no traffic just the sound of the sea, bliss -
- Lesley (8/5): A lovely birthday getaway. - The cottage was very well equipped and the location was good, within a few minutes walking distance of Chesil beach and an easy drive to the sights of Portland, Durdle door and Lulworth cove. We enjoyed evening meals at the Cove Inn and the Crab house Cafe at the end of the causeway, which were kindly recommended by Carole. We also had the best scone and coffee at the Lobster Pot at Portland Bill. The bedroom was quite cramped and although a minor point, there wasn’t any where to hang wet towels in the bathroom.

- Sandy (10/5): Cosy, clean and cute! - Loved the ambience, so clean and fresh. Very warmly welcomed. Close to beach and bus. We happened to catch beautiful summer days. Being a small cottage the upstairs gets very warm..we managed with open windows and a fan but could be more difficult in hotter temps. Also having a lighter bed cover with a sheet would work well.
