- Feargal (10/5): - Nice place. Cosy. Second time staying and would visit again.

- TonyO (4/5): - Lovely peaceful location.
Lots of potential.
Quaint cottages.
Great kitchen. Zero Internet and very patchy phone signal despite being listed as "WiFi available throughout" When asked about this was told "you're in the Highlands".
Shower is literally the size of a phone box.

- Penelope (8/5): - We love the cottage, the layout of the rooms and the wonderful kitchen facilities, including the washing machine. The staff were wonderful and really helpful when we got our dates wrong and arrived a day early. We would definitely stay again. The shower had very little water pressure so it was hard to have a hot shower in the morning.
- Inge Krooshof (7/5): Goed vertoeven - Goede locatie, rustige plek.

- Gould (6/5): A nice place to rest and chill out. - The combination of accommodation was just right for our group which we really appreciated. Beds were comfy. It was a great location for a trip to Oban and Mull. We were a group of four women so we were disappointed not to have a hairdryer. It would be good to let people know that it’s not centrally heated.
- Scott (9/5): - Lovely building, nice grounds. Not too far from Inveraray.
Spacious inside, plenty of room for dining table, cooking area etc. WiFi was not usable due to the location.
Host has tried with satellite broadband but the signal strength is just not there.
We are too accustomed to having Internet for streaming and gaming etc.
This is the only thing I can fault.

- Anna (10/5): Beautiful stay near Inveraray - Very easy check in and out process. Well stocked kitchen, multiple electric heaters available. Very quiet and beautiful location. It was just what we needed for a relaxing four days! We loved our way. One small thing that would add to the experience would be shampoo & conditioner being provided. But no complains, it was very lovely!

- Julian (10/5): Gorgeous country escape - The Cottages were amazing. The location is stunning and the grounds were so peaceful. Everything was nicely renovated and beds were so comfortable. The staff were also so lovely and accommodating. Thanks for having us! Everything was wonderful!
- Pavel (7/5): -
- Amy (9/5): Everything we needed, great location and would recommend and stay again. - Stayed in rowan and holly cottages for 2 nights in August, cottages set in a beautiful relaxing location, a short walk behind the cottages is a lovely stream and inside the cottages was so much space and very comfy beds, all kitchen utensils and appliances you could need, big fridge freezer, clean and tidy with nice bedding and big towels. Host was very helpful and made it as easy as possible for us throughout the booking and checking in process. We were lucky with weather so didn’t need to use heaters in the cottages but nice to see so many available if the weather had been cooler. Will definitely be staying here again and recommend to people going to the area.
- Mukul (10/5): Exceptional - Wonderful, cosy and quite.
- Jim (9/5): Welcomed Respite in Inverary. - Inverary is a lovey spot. Stone cottage was wonderful. Washing machine was a bonus that we took advantage of. Had trouble with the oven because we didn't find the manual(s) until we checked out. Spectacular setting.
Felt right at home.
- Andrew (5/5): Passable -
- Lynn (8/5): Lovely and peaceful. - The quietness of the property. There were other guests staying but you never heard or saw anyone. The property had everything you would need. Had a secure run for the dog to run about in. Would have liked the back of the property to have a fence so the dog could have wondered about. Had to keep him on the lead when we were sitting in the garden.
- Linda (9/5): Lovely comfortable and cosy farmhouse accommodation. - Wonderfully comfortable beds, lovely bedlinen and towels. Really high quality. The cottage (Holly) is well equipped and very comfortable. Lovely modern kitchen. Nice staff ( although we were self-catering). Very peaceful setting in a charming courtyard with lovely flowers. Great views. Our only thing was the smell of dogs in the living room. We appreciate that many dog owners are looking for suitable accommodation, but we also know that more than 50% of travellers do not want doggy places, especially international visitors. I would love it if a couple of cottages could be dog free.
- Natalia (7/5): Good for the chill ones - Cool location, very cheap, peaceful. It’s not the cleanest and there’s no toiletries.
- Tracy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jon (8/5): Very good -
- Guy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Caroline (10/5): Very relaxing. Loved the location. Felt very rural. The cottages were so lovely. - Loved the location. Felt very rural. The cottages were so lovely with a little courtyard. Livingroom, dining room, kitchen, bathroom, and 2 double bedrooms. Everything I needed. Had a lovely relaxing time.
- Claire (10/5): A charming home away from home - Cozy, spacious, beautiful location, easy check in and good communication. It took a little effort to get connected to the wifi, but we did figure it out and we were offered help if needed.
- Sandra (9/5): Superb -
- Hazel (6/5): Beautiful location but property needs a lot of.attention - Such a stunning location - the main house, the exterior of the cottages, the grounds. All beautiful 😍 The cottage we stayed in needed a fair bit of attention. The doors were all white, and quite visibly filthy ☹️ The kitchen facilities included. There was 1 knife that could semi cut. The property was very damp - the highest we saw the humidity was 89%. We struggled to dry clothes as there was no central heating, only plug in heaters. Some family members got sore throats due to the damp. There was no ventilation in the bathroom. There should have been a washing machine and a hairdryer as listed and this was provided on request. On our last night the Internet vanished and we went to the main house to enquire about DVDs and games, but there was no one there. I messaged and got no reply. A bit disappointing given the beautiful location. The parting shot was the door handle came apart as we left 😔 It all needs renovating.
- Bell (4/5): Disappointed - Close to Inveraray, flexible check-in time There was a damp smell in the place and the shower head was mouldy. A sign at the door explaining a long list of house rules due to “grumpy owners” wasn’t inviting. Place was a bit cold and the kitchen cupboards had a strange smell. You’re asked to take your bins out which requires driving rubbish to the bottom of the driveway.
- Graham (8/5): Very good -
- Helle (7/5): Good - Lovely setting Couldn't reach the shower ,the controls were up to high
- Ronald (10/5): Exceptional - Great accommodation. Very quiet. Nothing
- Jane (9/5): Superb - The cottage is in a most peaceful and beautiful location, with Inveraray just a short drive away. It was compact but very well equipped. Mike was extremely helpful. We particularly liked the fact that it was such a dog friendly place.
- Susan (10/5): Relaxing and enjoyable in a wonderful setting. - Clean, spacious, comfortable. Lovely setting. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Bathroom was a bit small.
- Carrie (10/5): Relaxing and enjoyable - Such beautiful surroundings, clean, comfortable and well equipped with everything you need and only few minutes drive to town, just perfect Nothing
- Jayne (9/5): Superb -
- Karen (8/5): Great for our family group of 7. - Peaceful, good kitchen and lovely setting
- Mike (9/5): Superb -
- Edmund (7/5): Good - Friendly welcome and a good location. Kitchen facilities a bit limited…OK for a short stay.
- Barrie (8/5): Recomended - Quaint cottage. Peaceful location. Bathroom OK, but could do with a complete overhaul.
Smell of stale smoke sadly.
- Allan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marie-anne (10/5): Exceptional - Met the host who walked us to our cottages, provided lots of information, was friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend Nothing, it was a great base to explore to explore the local area, we will be going back
- Teresa (9/5): We had 4 generations staying here for 2 nights, there was plenty of space for all of us. Will stay again. - We liked everything about this for a family weekend, there wasn’t anything to dislike. Would recommend to anyone wanting a quiet time away.
- Lesley (10/5): Booked this for a chilled couple of nights for a catch up with a friend and it was ideal for that - Lovely area and quaint village of Inveraray nearby
- Rosemary (8/5): Lovely location and nice accommodation. - Nice countryside cottage close to Inveraray. Comfy beds. Kitchen appliances could do with updating. Better heating.
- Reid (10/5): Brilliant - Friendliness of staff. Very helpful. Location was great and so were surroundings. The shower not very good.
- Swailes (8/5): Superb location and great value for money. - Setting, check in, parking were excellent.
Welcome wood for the fire and fully utensiled kitchen.
Cosy lounge and clean fresh toilets and bedding.
We will return!!! Bed in one of the rooms really needed a new mattress, but that would be my only feedback.
- Don (7/5): Good - Location and very clean with almost all the facilities. We enjoyed our stay.
- Eilish (9/5): Superb -
- Andrew (8/5): Great trip with 4 adults, my mum, nephew and cousin which were all adults and there was plenty of room for us all. - Location and facilities are great and the Alan lcould not do enough to help you. Value for money was also amazing. I would have given the stay a 10 but there was a problem with the shower which I am sure was just a wear and tear issue that could have happened at any time. Alan tried his best to sort it himself, but to call a tradesman which is when you realise it’s a different pace of life from towns and workmen are not ten penny in this part of the world so it takes a bit of time to sort things out.
- Michele (8/5): Great stay - The cottage is a beautiful converted farm building within easy reach of the main road within a forest Estate.
Rooms were really clean and staff really friendly. The photo are not giving justice to the place. Highly recommended. It is an old property hard to heat and keep warm, few drafts and leaks here and there, with water pressure issues. Nothing major to ruin the enjoyment of the stay. Inventory of glassware and kitchen stuff will need to be updated, big group can struggle with utensils provided.
- Rohwer (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful location, neat and clean. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. We are definitely going to book another stay here. I didn't get to stay long enough
- Kristine (7/5): Huge spaces - The cottages are very big, and great value for the price. Good parking areas, central location. For the Argyle area.
The area is lovely, very quiet and pleasant. Bathroom was very small and unfortunately down stairs from the bedrooms, which makes late night use quite tricky.
We did not interact with anyone there, was feeling a bit eerie.
- Knapper (9/5): Superb - The safe fenced in dog field .
- Jesus (10/5): Exceptional -
- Claire (8/5): Very good -
- Leslie (8/5): Excellent cottage and reasonably priced. - Very rural and quiet just what we wanted excellent. The heating in the living room was seriously complicated to use.
- Susan (10/5): Excellent accommodation and very welcoming. - We had a wonderful two nights stay in one of the cottages. It was lovely, with just what we needed! The staff /owner were very friendly and helpful. We are going again and hopefully bringing more friends!
- Paul (9/5): Superb -
- Sally (8/5): Very good - The cottage was large and roomy and had plenty of character . Nothing
- Mark (8/5): Overall excellent - We had everything we needed and more The shower was hot cold hot cold
Ran really slow
- Laurance (4/5): Disappointing - shower and beds
- Kathleen (10/5): Perfect base for exploring mid Argyll - Beautiful location, easy to find, plenty of parking and the cottage was much bigger than the photos made it look. We didn’t bring our dog but knowing how big it is and that there’s a secure field on site I think next time we will. Already looking forward to our next visit.
- Robyn (9/5): Superb - Cottages were well equipped with all the mod cons. Rooms were spacious.. Very quiet on large grounds. Quality linen and towels. Close to Inverary and attractions. Would stay here again. Could smell dog. My fault should have read clearly states that dogs are welcome.
- Angus (10/5): Exceptional - Very helpful staff. Place was super dog friendly No complaints
- Ross (9/5): Amazingly peaceful location - Location, quiet, log burner Slightly noisy beds (perhaps a drop of oil)
- Katarzyna (10/5): Great place. - Everything was great - such a nice, exceptional place. It was clean, beautiful inside and out:), well-equipped, check in in no time. Unbelieveble value for money. Thank you. Everything was perfect.
- Farhat (10/5): Very peaceful and relaxing - Very well organised. Beautiful remote location. Very very clean and spacious cottage. 10/10 The shower wouldn't always heat up which was a nuisance but the team were very responsive and came out straightaway.
- Theekshana (4/5): Just managed , haven’t had a proper wash in 2 days - The location is quite beautiful. Mike the care taker is a friendly chap with really good crisis management skills . I travelled with my two kids . The property had lot of dog hair and smelled of dog especially the covers on the sofa and the floor .mike tried to address this unsuccessfully.
Anyway , that night tried to give the kids a shower but the water in the shower cubicle doesn’t drain . Next day they fixed it , but the water heating wasn’t working . So it was really a horrible time. I think it has all the ingredients to become a family friendly place but need to maintain the basic necessities up to the mark .
- Marie (9/5): Superb - Lovely place
Only issue was the shower which was either literally boiling hot or freezing cold no in between
- Andrew (7/5): Overall we found it to be relaxing - Quietness and cleanliness Decor needed updating
- Roddy (8/5): Very good -
- Veronica (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was amazing .beautiful spacious cottage , staff very friendly, couldn't have got a better place what a hidden gem x
- Max (8/5): Very good -
- Fiona (10/5): Will definitely be coming back! - Really cosy - surprisingly spacious and lovely hosts Nothing!
- Callista (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing stay
If you don't have a car it can be challenging to reach and to travel around but otherwise everything was perfect
- Fiona (9/5): Happy customers - The location was beautiful and peaceful, rooms were comfy and clean, we felt welcome and were close to such fabulous walks. There was nothing to dislike.
- Nicole (9/5): Superb - Dog walking enclosure was amazing and very comfortable beds and sofas in both rooms. The accommodation was clean, private and cozy
- Nadimul (8/5): Very good -
- Aakanksha (9/5): Value for money - It was comfortable stay Easy to find location
- Stephen (8/5): Mates Break - Beautiful location , dog friendly, comfortable spacious rooms.
Helpful staff. That we hadn't stayed longer !
- Nigel (9/5): Superb -
- Magdalena (10/5): Great place to stay! - Very clean and comfy place. Enough space for 4 adults or big family. All necessary kitchen facilities provided. Beds very comfortable. Recommended in 100% Tight shower, for people with size XL or more space is very limited under the shower.
- Peter (8/5): Very good -
- Alexander (10/5): Exceptional - Absolutely beautiful area. So quiet and beautiful place 😍
- Martin (9/5): Killean Farmhouse Cottages - Extremely beautiful setting with views of woodland and (when I was there) lots of bluebells between trees.
The accommodation was very well presented, clean and tidy with everything needed for even a lengthy stay.
Beds were comfortable. My cooking set off a fire alarm, which was embarrassing, but the installation is a requirement, so not the fault of the establishment. It's also good to know that the system works to keep guests safe.
- Alexander (9/5): Superb -
- Ian (8/5): Very good -
