• Michelle (10/5): Outstanding accommodation, beautiful location - just what we needed - We loved everything about this property, the location, the facilities, the attention to detail. Jean checked in with us throughout to give instructions for access and popped round to see us to make sure everything was satisfactory. We had a lovely walk around the grounds and the nature trail and my hubby enjoyed the fishing straight from the balcony. The lodge is indeed luxuriously kitted out and absolutely everything you could need was provided. We will definitely be returning for a few more weekends in the future. Couldn’t fault a thing
• Sally (10/5): A perfect lodge to stay in over Christmas! - The lodge was beautifully and thoughtfully decorated with a Christmas theme and a stunning tree formed the centrepiece in the lounge. Each room had its own festive duvet covers and we loved the addition of Paddington! Jean had put so much thought into the lodge and we loved that there was a delicious box of biscuits waiting for us in the kitchen, milk in the fridge and all the toiletries we needed were to hand. We had breakfast each morning gazing at the wildlife on the lake - a wonderful moment of peace and tranquility. Nothing - we loved everything.

So clean, well-equipped & comfortable plus the small things like milk, tea & coffee etc were a lovely added touch. The owner was only at the other end of a message if we had any queries or questions too.

• Professional (10/5): Super accommodation in a great location - Loved the location. So wonderful to be able to use the deck and sit looking over the water and the golf course. Really enjoyed seeing the birds and the fish. A really beautiful spot. Inside everything was immaculate, so many wonderful details including the Paddington pictures and Paddington himself. Spotlessly clean, really well equipped - John and Jean had thought of everything We would have loved to have stayed longer but unfortunately had to return home. We do hope to be able to stay again in the future though as it was such a lovely place
