• Erica (10/5): Best hotel experience I have ever had! - Ms. Emily is an exceptional hostess!! She was very attentive and went above and beyond to ensure I had a wonderful stay. My room was very clean, spacious and comfortable with a sitting area and a large jet soaking tub. The location was perfect with in walking distance to so many delicious restaurants and the port. I highly recommend this boutique hotel!

Nous avons été très bien accueillis, informés et aidés à l'arrivée et au départ. Notre chambre au premier étage était grande, confortable et bien equipée.

• Stella (10/5): - Η τοποθεσία ήταν πολύ καλή. Η καθαριότητα του καταλύματος ήταν άριστη και οι παροχές απόλυτα ικανοποιητικές. Η ιδιοκτήτρια ήταν πολύ φιλική και εξυπηρετική. Είναι σίγουρο ότι όταν επισκεφτούμε ξανά τα Χανιά θα επιλέξουμε το συγκεκριμένο κατάλυμα.

• Haisea (4/5): quite dissapointing - The location was good and the room clean but the entrance is in a very creepy street with dr**g addicts which does not feel safe. 1. the room was way smaller than we thought, it was impossible to feel comfortable, as you try to wash your face you wet your feet. Impossible for longer than 2 days. 2. it was super noisy, in the night and in the day the cleaning lady was super loud (she was a nice person though) but just super loud

• Anat (10/5): Great hotel! - Emily, the manager, is extremely helpful and kind, and will do everything to assist and advise. The rooms are beautifully designed. It is an old Venetian building that was beautifully renovated with great attention to detail, with all modern facilities, from spacious rain showers or jacuzzi, to coffee machines to your desire, either capsules or filter. Nice modern furniture, great mixture of the old building with modern comforts. You feel that everything was thought of, with the guest in mind. The location is great, close to everything. You can walk anywhere. The only thing that might be a drawback is the stairs that lead to the two upper suites, which may not be convenient to some people.

• Jyotsna (9/5): A quite and comfortable nook in the heart of bustling Chania. - We had a wonderful stay with Domus Vivendi. Emily received us warmly despite our late arrival. The room was very comfortable and sound proofed. The location is in the heart of Chania and walking distance from all the sights, bars and restaurants. The only things to be aware of are that the steps to the suites are steep and narrow. Parking can be a challenge, as with all downtowns. But overall an amazing experience and would definitely recommend.

Our room was really comfortable, very good bed, with an enormous jacuzzi. The location in the heart of the Old Town could not be better.

• Kevin (10/5): Exceptional - The accommodations were amazing, but it was Emily who made our stay exceptional! She went above and beyond with helping us coordinate rental cars, giving us ideas of things to do and even giving us a super thoughtful breakfast basket when we had an early flight.

I would rate the customer service way above 10. The owner helped us with everything, even to rent a car. We felt very welcome. All good.
• Nick (10/5): I would plan a vacation around being able to stay at Domus Vivendi - This is the standard what a boutique hotel should be. If you’re looking for a place to stay in Chania and are debating. Book here. From the second I met Emily for check in up until I left, I felt like my comfort and experience was her number one priority. The hotel is centrally located steps away from great food and drink but far enough away from the loud tourist areas. Everything in the room is brand new and the bathtub/shower is in top 5 showers of my life. I could go on and on about how lucky you are if there’s availability for you to stay here. I loved everything about the property.

• Helen (10/5): Beautiful, cool room in a great location for Chania! - Perfect location, near enough to all the spots in old town while providing some quiet and privacy away from the restaurants and vendors. Cafes, dinner, and convenience stores on the block but nice and quiet in the evenings. Comfy bed and plenty of space in a studio setting that included a deep kitchen sink, solid minifridge, and plenty of bathroom space with an amazing shower; a great room with everything we needed over a multi-day stay to include beach towels! Noise in the hallway carries into the second floor room as the building is multi storied with a narrow staircase. Not so much on the facilities so much as something to know if other guests aren’t as considerate or aware early in the morning/late at night. We didn’t see a “do not disturb sign” to hang.

Amazing location. - I was lucky enough to be the first guest to stay in the ground floor apartment and I almost cried of happiness when I walked in the room! Such an amazing location right in the heart of old town and honestly one of the nicest places I’ve stayed in ever. I stayed in the ground floor apartment and found the size to be perfect for me! All amenities were top notch and the service is incredible. Everything was very modern and I felt very fancy after staying in hostels previously, a lot of attention to detail has been made. Also one of the first hotels I’ve stayed at in Greece that had amazing lighting in the room! Although it’s so close to the city centre I was able to sleep sound without any interruptions from the busy streets surrounding, I even slept in till 12pm on my second day! The hosts are a big part of my great experience too and I have made great friends with them in my time there and highly recommend staying here to everyone! I can’t wait to come back to Crete and stay here again! Oh and the spa bath is ginormous you could fit three people in there easily (I did not but the possibility is there) and it is so relaxing - be careful how many bubbles you put in there however! Everything was perfect! Nothing to fault honestly.

There was a sweet woman who lived across the street who helped me get in contact the owners upon my arrival. The sweetest people I’ve ever met, and I had the pleasure of being their first guest ! I would book with them over and over and over again. The facility is beautiful and modern, an amazing stay !
