Guest Reviews
- Justyna (10/5): -
Asciugacapelli va chiesto in reception senza cauzione. Possibilità di luggage storage gratuito. Molto consigliato!!
- Greg (7/5): - The accommodations were as expected, fairly minimal but what was stated. The grounds were staffed and in good condition. The place was affordable and relatively close to areas of interest. The building was close to grocery and had a laundry. This place was very loud, even during quiet hours. The fire doors won't close quietly if you tried. So expect to hear them at all hours bc of travelers. The bathroom sink wasn't very deep from wall, so with a shelf over and wall mirror cabinet, it was impossible to wash your face or shave without hitting your head. It was warm weather, without ac (as expected), but also very little ventilation from the window only cracking and zero flowing air (no fan in room, no fan in bath). Positively muggy/stagnant after showers. Bed didn't have a top sheet and wardrobe in room had a bar for hanging clothes and no hangars, so not worth much.
- Rasmus (6/5): Decent - Clean room, storage, Very helpfull staff Toilet did not flush and had to be fixed multiple times.
Lot of noise from surrounding rooms. Doors slammed in the hallway, loud enough to wake us up.
- Nicole (10/5): -

- Frances (10/5): Great value, location and very clean. - Really great location and price Rooms aren’t that sound proof but for a night stay you can deal with it
- martin (10/5): - No breakfast offered. The room and staff were top class. Recommended.
- Gary (7/5): -
- Jessica (10/5): -
- Rebecca (8/5): Good base to explore Dublin in nice part of city - This is fancy student accommodation rather than a year-round hotel, so expect as much. That said, the staff working there were really wonderful; friendly, helpful, and kind. The studio we booked was quiet (we were expecting it to be noisy from the other reviews, but we got lucky with the location of our studio #421) and spacious, with a kettle, toaster, fridge, hob, and microwave (though no pots or pans and we had to ask at reception to get plates and cutlery). The room was clean and the bed was quite comfortable. The communal areas looked good too. The free tea and coffee was a lovely detail, and Stoneybatter is a nice part of town, with good pubs, little restaurants, etc. We'd stay here again. As I said: think student accommodation (albeit really fancy student accommodation). There was no lid on the toilet, and a slight urine smell in the bathroom when we first arrived. Although there was a kitchen in our studio there were no pots or pans to actually cook anything.

- Joseph (8/5): -
- Sean (7/5): Overall was good - Location good parking bad The heat in room 51 was Very uncomfortable, no ac either
- Laetitia (10/5): -
- Jenna (10/5): Awesome stay, loved it - The room was small but cozy. Staff was excellent, and accommodating. They gave us a fan when we’re too hot at night, and free coffee in the lobby in the morning! Well, coffee all day long. Great services, laundry, gym, and awesome rooftop hang out. Definitely recommend for anyone that wants to visit Dublin as it’s a short walk from temple bar and a great price! Would definitely stay again when I return. Maybe offer a breakfast?
- Catharina (5/5): - Gute Lage - Aussicht auf Steinwand
- Sehr laute Türen --> man wird davon immer geweckt
- Hellhörig
- Patricia (7/5): Adequate for the price. - No breakfast! The building itself and garden area was nice. Close to Temple bar. Staff were pleasant. Needs fans in the rooms! A television would have been nice. Coffee and tea bar was nice, but limited cups and you had to wash one if you wanted a cup. Also no milk ( staff said there was usually milk in the vending machine, not this morning) or spoons. Should have a kettle in each room.
This area is very multi-cultural and not what we travel to the beloved homeland for. Sad really cause people travel to Ireland for the Irish experience.

- Niels (9/5): -
- Caroline (9/5): -
- Nicola (7/5): -
- Delaney (5/5): - Each floor and the building was secure. Bed was of moderate comfort. No luggage rack(s) provided. No air conditioning. No designated floor area for shower and no shower curtain. Water traveled over the whole floor area which then tracked in the other areas. No parking--this was mentioned in the listing. The price is about right for what is received.
- Katie (2/5): Tiny rooms with students partying all night - Staff were friendly and the kitchen was big Loud music playing until after midnight, then woken up again at 3am by students returning home from their night out, shouting down corridors. The doors slam so loudly so you are constantly woken up by slamming doors in the building. Room was absolutely tiny and the bathroom was barely big enough to turn around in. Feel very ripped off paying €150 for 1 night for a tiny room and no sleep due to noise all night. I wish I'd read the reviews before booking as it looks like this is a common theme
- Louie (10/5): Lovely - Good location , lovely and really helpful staff
- Aoife (10/5): -
- Dona Dilini Manushi (10/5): -
- Clara (10/5): - No soap or body wash
- Faith (5/5): -
- Rosemary (7/5): Affordable, good location, nice clean room, great shower - It's near a couple of pubs so was a bit noisy and may not want to stay on a Friday or Saturday night
- Lauren (10/5): Lovely place to stay if you don’t mind walking about 20 minutes to the main attractions - Clean, right next to a grocery store, good security, friendly staff A little far from the main attractions of the city
- Delaney (9/5): So glad to find this hotel - ease of access to the city - very affordable - outstanding staff! - The common room with sink, refrigerator, tables, chairs, etc .... the rooftop ... the lobby lounge ... the friendliness, helpfulness, flexibility of the staff - OUTSTANDING ... location is great ... internet access was good ... nice and modern and very clean! minor points: recommend an electronic key for each guest (or at least each adult) rather than just for each room ... recommend using a fitted sheet or at least a large enough bottom sheet for the double bed ... very difficult to control temperature in rooms - very warm at times ... we noticed that in the A building the doors didn't slam. In the B Block where we were they were very loud and difficult to keep from slamming.
- Nichole (7/5): Not bad, for an economy hotel - There is a lot of shelving space and such in the room. They generally made good use of the very small space. There are some very small changes that would improve the place: Install bumpers in the door jams - they close very loudly. Install hooks on the inside bathroom door - there's no place to hang a towel or clothes, while bathing. Use vinyl upholstery on the furniture in the common areas, for hygiene. Improve the housekeeping - the room could have been cleaner.
- Donagh (10/5): -
- Oliver (8/5): Nice accommodation for the price - Good value for money, does what it says, nice bathroom clean room, good coffee station if thats what you're interested in. Feels safe and secure, front desk has someone on it 24/7. Slightly far away from the tourist bits, but that's all really.
- Lisa (7/5): - We didn’t get a breakfast and the location was great I thought the rooms would be bigger
- Silviu (5/5): - Good location, with close access to public transport.
There are a few supermarkets and cafes in the area if you want to grab some food on the way or have a breakfast/brunch.
Easy and fast checkin/checkout process Terrible sound isolation. Could hear doors slamming in the corridor multiple times during the night.
Sink drain in the bathroom was clogged when we arrived, and the tap was splashing water all over.
Ventilation could be better.
- Danny (8/5): -
- Antwoine (8/5): Good facilities and staff that didn’t question much, will come again if had the chance. - The freedom to go any and wherever i was permitted in the property, and that the staff weren’t too nosey but friendly at times. Pillows were too small and bedsheets came off easily
- Greg (8/5): One night stopover - Room was what we expected. Check in was smooth and easy. Tea and coffee available downstairs. Price is more than it's really worth, however....it is Dublin and overall the whole city is expensive and pretty much everything is overpriced. However, if you want to see it you have to pay it. Bathroom is teeny weeny.
- Fergal (9/5): A hidden gem - It was very clean and welcoming It was a bit difficult to find
- Amanda (5/5): -
- Sklar (10/5): -
- Irina (10/5): -
- Sigita (8/5): - We liked the location and overall staying. Stuff was very polite and supporting. Initially we ordered the studio and it was quite nice and well equipted and very good if compared to what you can get in Doublin for that price. Unfortutatelly, we could not stay in the studio. It was equipet for disabled persons in a strange way, that green light was blinking to show the way to the toilet and exit, but at the same time making sleeping quite difficult. It is a pitty that we needed to move to the small room to have a sleep. That was our preference.
- valerie (6/5): No elevator to all rooms - It felt safe, clean and secure We booked because it said had an elevator. We where traveling for 2 week and one was coming off a study abroad and had huge suitcases and this was our last night. We arrive and were placed in a building with no elevator. We asked for a room with an elevator and was told no. We had to drag 23kg+ luggage plus our backpacks (20kg) up stairs. This made me never want to book here again.
- Salvador Davide (2/5): -
- Megan (6/5): -
- Ekaterina (8/5): -
- Esther (8/5): - Rooms are fine. It’s clean and the beds are comfortable. It’s not big but everything you need for a city trip. Bus stop was right in front of the door and that took you to the inner city. It’s quite loud. The doors close very loudly which woke us up a lot.
- talal (9/5): -
- Iryna (10/5): -
- Kateryna (6/5): -
- Sean (7/5): Great for a concert - Cheap, clean, close to what you need. Great for one night stay. Rooftop is really nice for a beer. All amenities cost extra
- Marta (10/5): -
- Picce (6/5): -
- Artem (10/5): -
- Kasia (10/5): - Had a great stay. The room was spacious and clean with a comfortable bed. Great facilities- roof terrace, seating area with coffee and tea facilities. The only downside was the fire doors in the corridor that were closing very loudly.!!
- Delphine (8/5): -
- Jennifer (6/5): -
- tecku71 (9/5): -
- LucaKar (10/5): - Staff is 5 stars: effective, professional and very courteous
- Whatley (10/5): - Staff was super helpful. No AC or AC we couldnt figure out.
- Sionainn (10/5): - 10/10 so clean had everything we needed a nice view of the courtyard and a easy 15 minute walk from where we were going and plenty of bars around and a centra that was open until late
- alessandro (7/5): -
- Barbara (10/5): -
- Barbara (10/5): -
- Isaac (7/5): Good costumer service - I didn't do breakfast. A bigger sink or hand wash basin
- Cynthia (7/5): -
- Jordan (10/5): -
- Claire (9/5): V good value in great location - Excellent location for v good price. Room was a little warm to sleep in and I was staying on the ground floor so didn't feel comfortable opening window
- Stephen (3/5): - Location is near Heuston/Luas though seems quite rough with aggressive begging occurring at all times outside the property, which is repurposed student accommodation. Room is tiny, toilet paper holder falling off, no cups in kitchen area. Staff completely ignored my request for a VAT invoice despite following up several times. There are far better budget options in Dublin.
