• EVA MARIA (10/5): - El apartamento es encantador y muy acogedor. Necesario coche porque está en las afueras. Tiene grandes ventanas que dan al campo y se puede desayunar disfrutando de las vistas verdes preciosas. La cama y almohadas muy cómodas. Si se cierran bien las ventanas no hay ruido de la carretera cercana. Perfecto para 4 personas por el sofá cama. El único inconveniente es que no había cafetera pero a 3 minutos en coche hay una cafetería.

• Helene (6/5): Déçus - Je voudrais être la plus juste dans mon commentaire. Le logement se trouve près d’un pub, comme noté dans les infos, près d’une route très passante d’un côté et de l’autre, face a une étendue verte magnifique . Entrée libre. Le logement était propre, la chambre confortable, le canapé lit moins nécessairement, mais c’est attendu. Le soir, le wifi ne fonctionnait pas, mais le monsieur a fait le nécessaire et a su résoudre le problème . Nous avons eu la malencontreuse expérience de ne pas avoir d’eau le lendemain matin. Pas de douche donc pour aucun d’entre nous, pas de chasse d’eau, pas d’eau dans les gourdes pour la journée. Forcément cela entache particulièrement notre expérience. Nous avons pu échanger avec le monsieur à ce sujet et il semblerait que c’était un problème de la compagnie des eaux… Nous avons attendu, espérant que cela se résoudrait , mais l’heure tournant , nous devions nous résoudre à quitter les lieux. En toute fin de matinée, on nous a proposé de prendre un petit déjeuner mais il était déjà tard, la voiture était chargée et nous devions prendre le ferry. Nous sommes donc déçus par cette expérience.

• Kirkham (8/5): Relaxing and easy going. Ideal with dogs and to self cater. - Handy location for airport. Spacious apartment for two singles. Cooking facilities. Big lawn that was good for the dogs. Dog friendly and not too far from great beaches at Laytown Bettystown and the mouth of the River Boyne Restaurant was not open during our stay. A bit Pricey compared with hotels in the area

• Marie (10/5): Wonderful stay in a beautiful place. Would highly recommend. - Just returned from Tollstone. Beautiful cabin in a quiet area away from the bustle of a town - 30/40 mins by motorway north from Dublin. 10 mins drive to local town of Drogheda. Lovely Pub serving beautiful home cooked food next door but we didn’t hear any noise even on a bank holiday. Garage/Mini store just down the road. This place is lovely! Would highly recommend and we WILL be back! So very comfortable. So very clean. Had everything needed for our stay. Never slept so well being away. That bed is sooo comfy! Had wonderful food at the pub next door. Caroline and Simon and their team are wonderful hosts. Would book either of their cabins again without doubt. Dog friendly. But you wouldn’t tell given how impeccably clean it is! Have no other words than FABULOUS! And we can’t wait for a 2nd stay! We absolutely loved it! Not a bad word to say!

• Christopher (9/5): Half term in Duleek - Excellent location, ample free parking. Very good unit, really well equipped. Super comfortable beds. Good communication with hosts. Great little kitchen with fridge, toaster, kettle, microwave and hob. Clean bathroom with good shower. Warm and cosy even in February. Plenty of space for a family of 4. Nothing to complain about.

• Sharon (7/5): A good place to stay if you are looking for accommodations close to Brú na Bóinne. The place is comfortable and clean, m - Its proximity to Brú na Bóinne, and fun design. We spent only a short night here so we didn’t make use of its facilities, but we did pop over to the pub, which is just steps away. Nothing.

• Barbara (10/5): Great location for a family of four in the Boyne Valley - This cozy charming modern cottage comfortably fit our family of four, was very well situated for exploring the Boyne Valley and was spotlessly clean and comfortably appointed. The gastro pub next door was very good and so convenient as was the parking. We will book again!
• Barbara (10/5): Cozy comfy clean respite near Drogheda - Very clean, new, appealing and well appointed for a family with modest cooking desires. The Carranstown Lodge next door offers a wide selection of tasty meals and gluten free options, which we needed. It is centrally located within the Boyne Valley historic site must-dos and has free parking with surveillance and is quiet. A nearby soccer field provided fun evening entertainment. I would definitely return to this lodging in the future.

There's a lovely family run pub and restaurant next door which adds to the delight of staying here. Absolutely brilliant hosts..so friendly and helpful..We had a wonderful Christmas here!! Definitely going back here ASAP. So so Happy I booked here for our Christmas 2024 . It's one we will forever remember.
