• Toni (10/5): Hidden Gem - don’t hesitate to book here if you’re heading to a wedding in Mt Macedon - Check in was easy, communication with the owner was prompt. The property was well maintained, easy to access, clean, had everything we needed for a stay in the country in preparation for heading to a family wedding. The kitchen was well equipped, we were able to cook for the nights we were there and a super market wasn’t too far away. Having a washer and dryer for clothing was awesome - along with everything you need to add in order to do your washing. Bedding was comfortable and the house was warm, the open fire place was lovely. Being able to keep the house at a consistent temperature overnight was perfect as it was colder in the mornings. Thank you for providing such a well equipped home away from home. I would encourage others to book here, if they want the same feeling. There was nothing we didn’t like as a family.

• Emily (6/5): A spacious home in a great location, but let down by maintenance issues and inaccurate listing details. - - Spacious property with plenty of room for a family; the bedrooms in particular were very large. - Effective heating throughout the house, making it comfortable in colder weather. - Beautiful views from the property. - Comfortable beds. - Conveniently located close to the nearby town. - No breakfast provided despite being included in the price. We received no communication about this at all. - Water supply issues on two separate days. The first time it was fixed within an hour after messaging the owner, but the second time it took over three hours for a reply and resolution. - Even when functioning, the shower intermittently stopped for several seconds at a time. - Strong fireplace smell throughout the house, especially near the fireplaces; it lingered even after some time. - The property felt old, worn, and not thoroughly clean. - Bathroom had no lock for privacy. - Leftover food from previous guests was still in the fridge and freezer. - No bin provided. - The bedding configuration did not match the listing - we received 2 double beds and 2 single beds instead of what was advertised. - No pool on the property despite being listed; there is only a spa bath, which is not the same as having a pool.

• Maccas (10/5): - Our demo crew had a fantastic stay. The host was easygoing, friendly, and very accommodating. We especially appreciated the thoughtful gesture of leaving substitute items in the fridge since we had to head out early each morning and couldn’t be there for breakfast. Would definitely stay again!

• Brittany (10/5): Exceptional - Nick was lovely, very helpful. The location is insanely beautiful and so peaceful. We all loved the cows and fireplace. Everything was clean upon arrival, and was the perfect setting for a surprise dinner party for my partners 30th. The water pressure and temperature in the shower was a little lacking, but that's all I can fault, and even then it didn't bother us.

The bath didn't have a plug so we couldn't bathe the kids until later into our stay, the shower curtain was mouldy, the hot tub didn't work, the entire property hadn't been cleaned, the window in one of the rooms didn't close so mosquitoes and flies were able to get in, there was food and plates from last occupants still in the fridge, the fridge was dirty, the glasses and mugs were dirty, lipstick still evident etc, lots of black mould on all the windows, carpet and rugs dirty. No front door key. Coffee machine still had old milk in, microwave hadn't been cleaned. etc etc. Lots of dead flies on windowsills and behind curtains. Not suitable for a family. It was a very disappointing stay.
• Julie (10/5): Charming farm cottage - Great location .Close to.Hanging Rock , wineries etc . Lovely quite location , plenty of bird life . Good for a family stay.. Our host was very welcoming and made us feel at home. Everything was great.
• Miriam (10/5): Perfect weekend getaway. Peaceful, comfy, gorgeous house and property. - Perfect relaxing weekend getaway. We loved the property and the house. The owner was very kind and helpful. Beds so comfortable, home so spacious and beautifully styled with country charm. We loved walking the property and visiting the cows. Loved the outdoor jacuzzi. Spacious kitchen and lounge. Three big bedrooms. Charming place. We enjoyed day trips to Woodend, Kyneton and Castlemaine for brilliant art galleries, cafes, museums and shopping. Nice nature walks nearby also. Very private and tranquil spot. We will definitely return.

• Karen (2/5): Very poor - Great location. On check-in day we were informed we were being placed in a different house on the property. The host called this an 'upgrade' despite there being no jacuzzi and one room only having single beds. There were a number of missing listed kitchen appliances which the host did provide when requested. The host also removed a foul smelling kitchen rubbish bag upon request. We specifically booked this property for the jacuzzi and 3 queen beds which were not provided. As we did not get what we booked and paid for, we requested a minimal refund which the host verbally agreed to pay however this has never been forthcoming. Had we been informed earlier, not on the day, we could have cancelled and gone elsewhere.

• Rachel (8/5): Comfortable cottage in quiet beautiful location - The location was lovely. Very private and tranquil. The house is charming with a modern renovation. Ducted heating in all rooms plus open fire place. Beds very comfortable and warm. Highly recommended for relaxing getaway. Good value for money. We didn’t receive any check in information. Host didn’t respond when there was a power outage. Although house was well fitted and everything provided there were some missing items from sets so not enough mugs for everyone to have a coffee for example.

• Anna (9/5): A comfortable, usable space in the beautiful Macedon ranges! - The house is great, the beds very comfortable, kitchen and laundry had everything we needed. The kids enjoyed tearing around the lawn and watching the cows drift by. Parts of the house weren't as clean as I expected - mostly just window sills and corners of the room, nothing that directly impacted our use of the space.
