• Ronald (10/5): I would absolutely stay here again. Cost effective, safe, and good AC for sleeping. - Clean place to sleep with AC Roosters. But it’s Indonesia. Bring earplugs! WiFi was mostly outside the room, but I didn’t mind the digital detox. Great cell signal.
• Ferreira Insúa (2/5): - Close to the center When we arrived we had to scream, there was no one to attend us, until a todler saw us and started screaming “mama” then she actually stood up, she was literally next to where the “reception” is. Not very accommodating. When we did the check in she said that we chose the basic option, which actually there’s only one option of room, if we wanted to upgrade we would have to pay. When we saw the room, was not that bad, but toilet didn’t even have a sink, like the pictures, only had a hose for shower and the whole floor. Apart from that the room was full of mosquitoes to the point that we had to go and buy strong repellents for the whole room,which was VERY uncomfortable. I guess for the price is not that bad, but honestly wouldn’t recommend if you’re looking to relax.

• lapsa (2/5): - I did not like anything here We booked 2 rooms, our booking was confirmed. On arrival, we were told they had made a mistake and only one room was available. They said we would get a refund for their mistake but wanted to charge for the single bed. All the beds were very uncomfortable, especially as the single mattress was directly on the floor. We had hardly any space to move around. It was not clean. I did not feel comfortable in the location. We decided to move to somewhere more comfortable for our 3rd night. Despite all their errors, they still charged us for the 3rd night

• Danielle (9/5): Lovely room for a short stay in Lubuan Bajo - The staff were super friendly and welcoming. Happy to assist in any way they could. Beds were comfy and room was spacious and secure. The only issue I had here was there were lots of mosquitoes in the room and bathroom, not sure why.
• Iker (1/5): Pas cher c’est sur mais de qualité médiocre ! Au vu du nombre de moustiques, autant dormir dehors. Évitez cet établissem - L’hôte qui nous accueille est sympathique et possibilité de louer un scooter. Nous avions réservé 3 nuits mais nous sommes partis après la première. Il y avait au moins 40 moustiques dans la chambre, impossible de toutes les tuer ! Malgré un lit neuf et de qualité, le reste des équipements est de qualité médiocre : les WC sont cassés, il y a des trous partout dans la douche, les portes ne se ferment pas et ne sont pas du tout isolées (on dirait que le coq de derrière est dans la chambre).

• Nicolai (9/5): - Awesome staff. Room was spacious and clean. Good location. Not a big problem but would have liked to know there was no hot water in my room before I booked. Only found out after checking in. Wi-Fi did not work in my room had to go outside my room for it to connect. Quite a few mosquitos in the room, they kept finding a way in.

• Julie (9/5): - Die Besitzerin ist ein Traum. Sie hat und bei allem geholfen und war super super super nett und liebevoll. Das hat unseren Aufenthalt in Flores so verschönert. Wir würden jederzeit zurückgehen. Sie war wirklich super nett und konnte uns gut weiterhelfen und hat immer ihr bestes für uns getan. Dankeschön!
• Asbjorn (9/5): Très bonne chambre d’hôte à Labuan Bajo - Très bonne chambre avec un bon rapport qualité prix. Mita, la gérante a été très arrangeante et parle parfaitement anglais. Elle nous a très bien accueillis et a été attentive a tous nos besoins. Il y a également la possibilité de louer de bons scooters pour un bon prix, directement auprès d’elle, ce qui est pratique car un peu loin du centre. Je recommande vivement ! RAS

• Jörg (10/5): A Real Hidden Gem – Our Stay at WL Guesthouse - Sometimes you find places that simply feel right. WL Guesthouse is exactly such a place. Already when we arrived, we felt that here you are not just a guest, you are truly welcome. The hosts are not only friendly, they genuinely care. Whenever we had questions or needed something, they were immediately available and gave us valuable insider tips that noticeably made our stay easier. A real advantage: the hosts actively support you with booking tours, for example to Komodo National Park. Fast, reliable, uncomplicated. This leaves more time for what really matters: experiencing. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything you really need. Hot water, a kettle, free coffee and tea. Exactly those little things that often make the difference and create a good feeling. If you love freedom, Mitha is the right contact. She rents scooters at fair prices. We were on the road for twelve days with one of her scooters, a road trip we will not forget. Our journey took us all the way to Riung to the impressive 17 Island National Park, a place many travellers miss. Our route is stored with Mitha. If you are curious, you can contact her directly. She is happy to show you how it works. The guesthouse is located a little outside the city, which is perfect if you are looking for peace and quiet and still want to reach the centre quickly. If you do not just want to stay somewhere, but are looking for a place that feels real and opens doors to true experiences, then WL Guesthouse is exactly the right place. We would come back anytime and maybe next time travel even further.

Beaucoup de moustiques, on nous a fourni un spray à diffuser dans la chambre pour les éliminer, mais il y en a tellement partout qu’ils arrivent à entrer dans la chambre quand on ouvre la porte. Il manque une moustiquaire… Compliqué d’aérer, donc traces et odeur d’humidité dans la chambre.

• Amy (9/5): - Super friendly host, helped us book our Komodo tour, comfortable bed, very clean room. The guesthouse is out of town but easy access to town with grab bike or if you have your own scooter. Good value for money.
• Cynthia (10/5): Alles toll! - Die Gastgeberin ist wirklich eine unglaublich herzliche und liebe Person, wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an willkommen gefühlt. Sie spricht sehr gutes englisch, alles wirkt sehr gut durchdacht und professionell. Wir konnten direkt bei ihr einen guten Scooter ausleihen. Das Zimmer war schön, groß und sauber. Wir empfehlen das WL Guesthouse uneingeschränkt weiter. Viele Mosquitos durch eine kleine Öffnung im Bad, wird aber bald behoben.

Just to note, there is no hot water, like many guest houses. Set back from road and is quiet. A bit far from town. Bed needs mosquito net as doors do not seal well.
• Odine (8/5): Empfehlenswert - Die Gastgeberin Mitha ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Sie hat uns in Diversen Dingen geholfen und war immer ansprechbar. Motorrad konnte direkt bei ihr gemietet werden. Das Zimmer hatte kein warm Wasser.

(unfortunately no refill station) - Air conditioning very good - Bed very comfortable (would prefer white comforter cover only) - clean in the bedroom - I could choose one of the two rooms! - Shampoo and shower gel available - Shower water gets warm - Wifi good - I was allowed to stay in the room 3 hours longer free of charge because my flight doesn't leave until late in the evening - Location, a little out of the way, but with a scooter it would be very good. - Unfortunately the bathroom was not clean, for example there was a cockroach in the bathroom and after check-in there were so many long black hairs in the bathroom that I had to remove them first. There were some real tufts of hair. - The sink is very loose and unstable. You can't put a tooth mug on it without it slipping off... - The sink pipes are not laid (at all). The water from the washbasin simply runs out of the opening (where the pipe is simply not laid any further) and flows down the wall to the floor...

• Magda Luz (8/5): Buen lugar para descansar - Tiene todo lo necesario para dormir bien y descansar. Mita es realmente amable y buscar ayudarte con todas tus dudas. Las habitaciones son grandes y limpias (lo cual se agradece mucho), el baño también lo es y no hay casi mosquitos (te dan baygon para fumigar) Tienes botellas de agua y hasta servicio de lavandería si lo necesitas. Es muy tranquilo, pero lejos del puerto (que es la zona más animada de la isla) Puedes organizar con Mita tours y otras opciones. Quizá la ubicación sería su desventaja.

(7/5): - Nice big clean room with kettle and comfy bed Okay I have to be honest here,location was bad if like me you like walking it's 45mins to town,no breakfast served in morning which is annoying, air-conditioning struggles to cool the room and the worst is the waste pipe for the basin in bathroom just goes onto the floor so basically your washing teeth/face and it's landing on your feet very poor.Sorry I'm just been honest here would not stay here again.

• John (10/5): Top place to stay in Labuan Banjo. - Great communication and welcome. Super helpful manageress. Clean, good AC and strong WiFi. Taxi arranged to get lifts from the airport. Good quality Chinese restaurant in walking distance and lots of warungs. This scores 10 because for the price it is perfect. It’s 1.5 miles from the waterfront which may not suit everyone but a nice walk and very safe in dark. Most people use Frsb to get around.

• Amanda (10/5): Fantastic affordable option with a lovely host - I stayed 6 nights and think it’s a Really great affordable option. The owner speaks great English, is super responsive on WhatsApp, and is always eager to help and make sure you are enjoying your stay. It’s a bit outside the center, but a grab is 15-20k. It’s very quiet (no street noise or roosters). It’s basic but everything works and it’s clean. I would definitely stay here again. There wasn’t any hot water but for a budget option I didn’t expect there to be and it’s so hot outside that a room temperature shower was fine :)

Location is out of the business of town but very close via ojek/grab. Also perfectly at crossroads to travel east in the island. Room is spacious and bed comfortable. Would return in a heartbeat.

Die Feuchtigkeit in den Räumen macht sich bemerkbar an den Wänden und Decken, dagegen sollte dringend was gemacht werden, damit es ein schöner Aufenthalt bleibt - wie es aussieht, sind sie da aber dran :)

• Custó (10/5): Family Guesthouse - Hemos estado como en casa. Mytha y el personal es muy agradable y familiar. Te acogen y ayudan en todo. Alargamos 3 noches más. El mejor guesthouse de Labuan Bajo. Tienes que andar un poco para encontrar algún Warung o Supermercado. Pero como en todo Labuan Bajo.
• Kai (10/5): Great value and great staff, with good facilities - Fantastic place just outside of town. Great value and staff were brilliant at sorting any problems we had navigating Indonesia. Lady speaks perfect English which makes things super easy.
• Kim (8/5): - Mitha is amazing, very friendly host ♥️. I felt really welcome. About the room I liked the complimentary coffee and tea station and the bottled water. The mattress was really good, so were the pillows. I had a wonderful sleep in a clean bed. It was quiet at night. The room is definitely a good offer for the price, but of course like in other budget options, there are things that one could not like including a dripping hose and ants in the bathroom. Maybe another power socket by the bed would be good, but for me it was okay.
• Tof (10/5): - Basic, confortable, simple, cheap and clean room. Staff is really nice and always aware of your needs. Away from the crowd in town, but only 10 mns far in motorbike (Grab price : 15.000 to 20.000 IDR). They also offer car ride (50.000 to 60.000 IDR).
• Tine (9/5): Clean and spacious rooms, value for money - The rooms are very spacious and clean. Mineral water, coffee and tea are provided, which is a nice bonus in this price range. The host is very kind and communication with her is easy. The location is outside of the city center, which is what we wanted.
• Chloé (7/5): - La gérante est adorable. Le chauffeur à dispo pour 50K le trajet. Le calme Un miroir serait le bienvenu dans la chambre. Les éclairages étaient faibles.
