• Angelika (9/5): Wunderbarer Aufenthalt für eine Nacht - Die Zimmer waren groß und hatten ein sehr großes Doppelbett. Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin! Leider gab es kein Frühstück

• Claire (8/5): lovely room in a great location - Lovely room in a great location. Marion was a super host and gave us lots of information about the area. The pillows on the bed were very flat and uncomfortable and the shower was not good, hot but no pressure. We were told when we checked in that they were going to replace the shower but obviously that didn't help us.

• Siak Koon (10/5): Wonderfully comfortable stay! - Very clean, well kept and maintained. Lovely sizeable room and bathroom! The owner was super friendly and helpful and available when ever we needed help and information. It’s an easy, pleasant walk downhill into town. It felt safe even late at night. It would be great to have a study desk and chair in the larger room ( we had booked both rooms).

Sehr schön eingerichtet und viele liebevolle und durchdachte Details, Ledersessel mit Hocker und weiterer Sitz am Schminktisch, extra großes Nähset, tolle Dusche, Minikühlschrank.Bus und Tesco nah. Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Zur Einzelnutzung war es etwas teuer.

The room was absolutely spotless and Marion was lovely and helpful. Good quality fittings and furnishing, shampoo/shower gel provided, mini fridge, tea/coffee/milk provided. The attention to detail was noticed and appreciated. Not applicable!

• Jane (9/5): - Tidal Heights was a great choice for our overnight in Padstow. Very clean and comfortable and the room was a good size. A small fridge was provided which is always a bonus. An easy 10 minute walk into the lovely town of Padstow so no need to take the car. Our host Marion was very friendly and helpful. No complaints

• Grant (10/5): Great location, friendly and helpful host, and good value. - It's a really good location just a10 minute walk down to the town. The hostess is very friendly with lots of local advice on the best pubs to eat at, etc. The bathroom is small but that's standard for this sort of accommodation.

• Carlin (10/5): The perfect overnight stop - Marion is the perfect hostess. She was there to welcome us to a very comfortable bedroom. She has clearly thought about the details of staying - the little fridge, the sewing kit. We stayed here for one night while walking the southwest coastal path. We highly recommend Tidal Heights. There were no issues.

The bathroom was very clean. Nice view of the Tidal flats. Marion was very helpful with information and directions to town I would have liked brighter bedside lights, to augment the lone overhead light. I don’t have sensitive skin, but got a rash on both thighs from the duvet cover. It had a rough texture (looked for a sheet, but none found; didn’t notify the owner as it was late) maybe the detergent used was a factor.

We are not big breakfast eaters and so this suited us perfectly, being able to stroll the short distance down to the harbourside for coffee and croissants! There was honestly nothing we disliked.

I especially appreciated the extra gifts provided free of charge for my wife's birthday (flowers, wine & chocolates), this made it extra special, thank you so much. We would strongly recommend Tidal Heights to anyone looking for a relaxing break in beautiful Cornwall. Nothing because everything was faultless 10/10.

Comfortable bed, very nice shower, well stocked room, friendly host, nice and quiet, I could go on and on Only possible thing I could say would be the mini fridge was too small to store our lunch in, but that’s not something I would expect our host to cater to

Also more and more difficult to get central accommodation in Padstow and certainly something affordable as all family run houses like this in north and west Cornwall are becoming extinct.
