Guest Reviews
- Angela (9/5): - Towels, plenty of toilet roll, oven gloves, plenty of crockery. Little extras as needed.
Lovely and quiet.
There is plenty of safe parking.
Great location for South Pembrokeshire. Nothing.
- Tim (9/5): -
- Clare (8/5): Our stay was so quiet and peaceful, a lovely step out of the hustle and bustle of everyday life. - The coziness and the peace and quiet
- Patricia (8/5): Very pleasant with everything provided for a comfortable stay - The location was nicely rural but not far from popular places to visit. It had a secluded garden
- Keith (10/5): We had a wonderful relaxing week - A cosy and relaxing place to stay with beautiful countryside all around. We were made very welcome and the dog loved the open gardens and field to run around - which was fully secure.
- Rowlands (8/5): -
- Paulo (10/5): quiet and relaxed - quiet location in the countryside. basic set up but with all that is required. lots of parking space. free wifi. garden is great to let the dog out and play.
- liza (9/5): Little gem - Loved the location, and the facilities, games room and football pitch was a bonus. Cottage was cosy, and comfortable, really enjoyed our stay, just a pity it wasnt longer, and the weather could have been better, but then again what can you expect for March. Great little gem for families as has a playground on site, including treehouse. Dont think there was anything i didnt like.
- Helen (10/5): Loveston Barn - Lovely and cosy little barn. As soon as I opened the door it was lovely and warm in the lounge.
The kitchen had every I needed and there is a freezer in the laundry room if needed, although there is a freezer box in the under counter fridge in the kitchen.
There is plenty of hot water to fill the bath and a really good shower too.
There's a few other holiday lets on the site but Loveston Barn has its own private, enclosed garden .
There's a large communal car park close to the cottage so you don't have far to carry your luggage.
There's a small games room with a pool table, tennis table and darts board, a small football area and a play area for children.
The cottage is only about 9 miles from Tenby which is handy for walking the coastal path.
I will definitely be going back to Loveston Barn again, hopefully when the weather is better so I can have breakfast out in the garden. Everything was perfect.
- Sebastian (10/5): Peaceful and quite place - Cute private front garden. Peaceful and quiet place to stay. The barn is decorated with beautiful hand painted local landscape art and has lots of books on the shelf.

It is a beautiful place so cosy, the garden is secure and massive my dogs loved that space !
The cottage is warm, comfortable, has everything you need!
There is so much information in the cottage I learned the history of the area, has lots of information about walks (has long walks short walks etc)
I could go on and on about how beautiful the place is, its idyllic!
I will be returning often beautiful place, lovely host and so peaceful

Highly recommend a stay here you won't regret it, amazing value for money!! There was nothing to dislike, I loved everything
- Peter (10/5): Delightful place. - Delightful. Comfortable, attractive, ideal for singletons or couples on short breaks or longer ones, tucked away peacefully in the countryside. Good value too, and warm! Looking forward to staying here again. No problems of any kind.
- Catherine (10/5): A fantastic break from it all - Beautiful country setting, owners delightful. Slept so well Loved it all
- Melinda (9/5): Cosy - Quiet location despite being near a main road..Excellent value for money. Everything I needed for a short stay. Excellent wifi connection. Cosy and warm Would have liked a dust pan and brush to tidy up after the dog before I left
- Carla (8/5): We spent our 14th wedding anniversary here , log burner lit, cosy cottage , amazing.... - The log burner was great , enclosed garden for our dogs, great to see chickens running around lovely free eggs,
- Gwyneth (8/5): -
- Jonathan (9/5): Rustic rural gem - Lovely spot, and very quiet. Everything we needed and at a great price. Needs a little bit of tlc around the peripherals, like doors and windows, as we had a large spider on the kitchen window who popped back out through the window when we moved the curtain, and a large snail on the inside of the sky window. But these are old buildings and the residents added to the uniqueness.
- Hayley (9/5): - Central to where we was visiting
Cute and ideal for two
- Judith (10/5): Had the most wonderful stay .. highly recommend - Have stayed at Loveston barn many times … just the
Most wonderful property. Look forward to returning soon

- Rosy (10/5): -
- Ruth (9/5): Quiet and complete country retreat - So quiet, comfortable and easy Having to leave
- Katie (7/5): -
- Amanda (7/5): Comfortable charm - Comfortable, secure and well located. Really great property for solo or couple. Private secure garden which was great for my dog. Good size rooms and ample parking (with ev charger available). Good WiFi, no issues with heating/hot water. Plenty of info for local area, some out of date but I visited at start of season so will likely be refreshed as other guests leave pamphlets! No communication from host - I didn't need anything during my stay but a friendly message telling me what to expect on arrival (doors unlocked and key in living room) would have been a nice touch. As another reviewer has mentioned, crockery is mismatched and chipped which is my overall impression of the accomodation, absolutely fine and really quite lovely, but a little tired and could use some updating to make it fabulous.
- Nicola (9/5): Superb -
- Abdalrahman (10/5): Really good - Everything Everything
- Mark (8/5): A lovely hideaway - A great little place to stay, very cosy with everything you need. Good
value for money A bit cold as the boiler was being replaced but the log burner soon warmed things up.
- Paul (10/5): Perfect cottage - Perfect quiet setting. Idyllic cottages in beautiful surroundings, perhaps the best area of Pembrokeshire for sightseeing and exploring. We loved the private garden, so safe for our dogs. Great value for money. Cottage was so wonderfully warm and cosy. We will definitely book again. Nothing
- Ruth (9/5): Very enjoyable stsy - Quiet, comfortable, good location All fine, though a little more kitchen equipment would be helpful (eg. another saucepan)

- Lynne (10/5): Relaxing. Quiet... - The location was fantastic. Very quiet and hidden away from any hustle ans bustle
- John (8/5): excellent location and value - Well laid out, heating very effective. Quiet location easy to park. Facilities great, liked the ease of recycling and easy access to timber if we had wanted to use log burner Firstly I am not a dog person so probably not the typical target for this property. It was a little tired, taps were loose on the sink, socket loose in bedroom. Crockery chipped and mismatched

- Sébastien (10/5): Exceptional - Staying in Loveston Barn was delightful. The house is cosy and the setting enchanting!
- Peter (8/5): Comfortable & convenient location. - Value for money, very private Curtai s very stiff to draw - used polish to free up. A little short on space in bedroom but cost has to be bourne in mind.

- Catriona (7/5): Well located base for pembrokeshire explore - The garden is very sweet. Isaac was friendly and helpful. For the price, it is well located and excellent value for money Inside is tired and needs an update. Important areas are clean (bathroom, bedding etc), but barn needs a deep clean and some fitting updates/replacements.
- Karon (10/5): Exceptional - Central.locstion. Great safe
place for the dog
- Russell (9/5): Lovely and relaxing and will be returning - Quaint cottage lovely location nice a rural with free running chickens and the most adorable dogs A bit dated but nonetheless lovely and clean
- Rhys (10/5): Fantastic stay. Aweosme surrounding. The dog and chickens were extra delightful! - Quaint & very tidy
- Sandra (7/5): Relaxing , peaceful location - Very cosy , comfortable, love the log burner facility, decent WiFi, plenty of hot water , nice and peacefull love this place . More attention to detail is required. Soft furnishings and towels are very tired and could do with updating.
The recycling bin instructions are not clear enough. Not practical having to go to an outside shed in the rain to sort recycling would be better if each cottage had their own facility. I didn't realise until end of my stay due to poor instructions.
Re occurring issue with blocked kitchen sink I had the same issue at last years stay.
A little updating this place would be a gem.
I would still go back, though, just giving tips on improvement to enhance guests' stay. better lighting on paths would be nice, and it can be slippery with the wet grass .
More cleaning products are required in kitchen
Had a little ant infestation problem in the living room area
- John-michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Elizabeth (10/5): Absolute bliss, we were grieving the loss of family dog and the barn will be forever rememberedocess - Loved everything about the barn Nothing I didn't like
- Louise (8/5): A very Welsh cosy cottage, felt safe and warm and off the road. - It was super warm when we walked in, able to take the dog nothing felt precious. Needs bigger towels, could be a tad cleaner and the paths outside better so not walking mud and wet into cottage
- Greg (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rachel (9/5): We enjoyed our stay. It would be a good place for a family event because there are several rentals. - friendly host. sweet little cottage. lovely grounds! Small TV and it didn't concept to the internet to get Netflix etc.
The bed was very hard and we like a soft bed.
- Owain (10/5): Exceptional - Really cosy cottage, it was so peaceful and was well equipped. Well located to explore the area. Hope to return soon.
- Sandra (10/5): Our little get away. - It was very peaceful. Loved the chickens greeting us
A lovely place to stay. Nothing at all. We have no complaints.

Dog hair everywhere
Dog hair in the bed

- Annabel (10/5): I’ll be back. - Location was perfect for exploring the area.
Fabulous totally secure garden which dog loved.
Perfect for a few days away or longer. Lounger in the garden would have been nice for an afternoon snooze.
Bed a little hard for me.
- Kerry (10/5): Fantastic value for a gorgeous place - Cosy, clean and fantastic value for money Nothing
- Samantha (5/5): Passable - It was nice & peaceful no screaming kids, & fresh eggs from the chickens To far away from the nearest shop or pub, so couldn't go out in the evening anywhere unless someone drove. The address is advertised as Kilgetty, but you're a 10- 15 minutes drive from Kilgetty or any village. I know the cottage was suitable for dogs but could do with a spruce up & kitchen utensils checked toaster didnt work normally did the tin opener & the hot tap needs a washer as spinning.
- Katy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jamie (10/5): Our Pembrokeshire adventure - The cottage was really lovely and had everything we needed and wasn't to far away from places of interest Everything was fine.

- Claire (10/5): Perfect cosy cottage and I have booked already for later in the year. - The cottage was clean, well presented and really gave that countryside retreat vibe. I couldn’t fault it for what I wanted out of a holiday rental for self catering requirements. There wasn’t anything that I would say was lacking.
- Janine (8/5): Very good -
- Trudy (7/5): Very comfortable and warm, cosy cottage - Location good Could do with a little spruce up but that didn’t take away it’s charm
