• Guzzi Travellers (8/5): Excellent location and easy nearby parking. - This apartment is well situated right in town in close proximity to all restaurants and activities. It's located on the 1st floor with both stair and lift access. It can be tricky to find as it is not called Le Sancerris but the address is correct. The facilities are great and the beds are comfortable. I slept on the couch which was really good. Parking is close by, but as I rode a motorcycle I was able to park free right outside the door. Would definitely stay again. Could not find a towel in the place. Missed out on a shower but I had a can of deodorant do all was good.

• Courbouleix (5/5): - Appartement spacieux, proche centre ville avec une très jolie vue sur la Meuse. Très bruyant, énormément de circulation. Visite express du proprio. Literie tellement inconfortable que personne n'a su dormir correctement (oreiller trop dur et on sentait les ressorts du matelas), une porte de douche sur les deux, de ce fait il fallait faire attention de ne pas en mettre partout et pour finir, aucune explication sur comment fonctionne ce téléviseur ( lorsqu'on a appelé vers 19 h, le proprio nous a dit qu'il fallait l'appeler il y a 1 heure, là il était trop tard pour lui venir nous aider). Je ne recommande pas.
• Rajesh (1/5): Worst Host and Communication - Don't stay here - Nothing The host refused to provide us with the keys because we arrived late for check-in. There was no clear information provided about late check-in restrictions, nor did the host attempt to contact us about this matter. On our way to the property at around 9:45pm when I contacted him on instructions to how to check in, he said he left the property at 8pm and did not allow us to get the keys. He is rude too. We had to look for a stay at around 11pm not knowing where to go and paid a lot more to stay at a hotel for that night. Very frustrating. I travel a lot and stayed in many apartments before and never faced an issue like this. The host usually puts the key in a lock box at the property and sends the code via messages on booking or what's app. Its easy that way for both the parties and no need to worry about late check-in times. I raised a complaint on booking and they responded well.

• Simon (7/5): Top emplacement, dommage pour le "confort" - La taille du sejour. Emplacement proche d'un parking souterrain, proche du centre et de promenade de la Meuse. Odeur de cigarette/herbe dans l'appartement. Le fait qu'il n'y ait pas de quoi nettoyer (éponge, essuie de vaisselle) ou basique pour cuisiner (huile d'olive et quelques epices,cette vitre de SDB qui pourrait tomber). Attention, annonce 6 personnes, mais c'est davantage 4 adultes et 2 enfants (les enfants dormant alors dans le canapé)

• Liza (8/5): We had an excellent family weekend break in Dinant, with exactly the base we needed to explore the city. - Location and set-up were very nice, particularly the very spacious living room. Comfy beds with hard mattresses. We also appreciated the free TV, condiments and coffee and most certainly the possibility to check in as early as 13h00. The shower room was a bit smelly.

• Céline (5/5): - La grandeur de l'appartement et surtout son emplacement Le contact pour remises des clés compliqué suite au problème de nombre de chambres par rapport à la réservation pour 4 personnes. Explication très rapide avec précision du "café offert par la maison" mais même pas une capsule ! On est loin de la photo dans l'offre. Vaisselle sale et rangements peu organisés. Odeur de tabac dans la salle de bains. Télé non fonctionnelle : pas de chaînes, ni Netflix... il serait bon de laisser noté quelques explications... Dommage car cet appartement a un beau potentiel de location mais mériterai un meilleur entretien pour un meilleur accueil et un sejour plus agréable pour les locataires...

• Edith (4/5): Une arrivée non préparée. - L'emplacement est sympa pour découvrir le centre historique. Les lits sont confortables comme le salon spacieux.. Absence totale de chauffage dans les deux chambres dont les fenêtres étaient ouvertes à notre arrivée.Résultat : impossible de remonter la température qui est restée basse toute la nuit.. Les photos promettent un café d'accueil qui n'a pas eu lieu. Le frigo n'avait pas été cleané pour notre arrivée.
• Kosta (5/5): ************* Mauvaise Expérience ******************** - Bien situé Mauvaise Expérience Lors de mon séjour, j'ai rencontré plusieurs problèmes qui ont rendu cette expérience très désagréable. Propreté : La propreté de l'appartement laissait à désirer. En dessous des lits, j'ai trouvé des canettes que j'ai dû nettoyer moi-même. Gestionnaire : Le gestionnaire était antipathique et désagréable. J'ai dû l'appeler moi-même avant mon arrivée pour savoir comment récupérer les clés. Bien qu'il ait répondu rapidement au téléphone, il a presque raccroché au nez en me disant d'aller les chercher dans un restaurant dont il m'a donné le nom, sans même prendre la peine de me fournir l'adresse ou de me l'envoyer par SMS. J'ai donc dû chercher cette information sur Google. Intervention de la femme de ménage : Le lendemain matin, à 10h45, la femme de ménage est arrivée sur place sans même frapper à la porte et est entrée directement dans l'appartement alors que nous étions encore en train de nous préparer. Lorsque nous lui avons dit que nous allions partir dans 15 à 20 minutes, elle a insisté pour que nous quittions immédiatement. Nous avons dû élever la voix et être fermes, sinon nous aurions été mis dehors comme des malpropres. Franchement, le personnel et le gérant que j'ai eu au téléphone étaient désagréables. Je n'ai jamais vécu une telle situation auparavant. Je ne recommande pas cet endroit simplement à cause de cela. -

• Karl (10/5): Mooi Appartement in Dinant Centrum - Het verblijf is een redelijk groot appartement met veel vensters en 2 aparte slaapkamers. Heel aangenaam appartement in het centrum van Dinant. De verwarming werkte niet maar de verhuurder stuurde direct een loodgieter die de reparatie direct heeft uitgevoerd.
• Magdalena (6/5): - Mieszkanie w samym centrum, duże, wszędzie blisko. Szybki kontakt z wynajmujacym. Zimno w mieszkaniu, ogrzewanie wyłączone, nie dało się włączyć. To chyba jedno co nam się nie podobało, ale też nie zgłaszaliśmy tego, a może dało się załatwić.

Pas moyen de mettre chauffage car en panne !!! Et de la on me répond madame vous êtes pas a l'hôtel pas de service technique a disposition !!! De là nous avions droit jusque 11h et a 10h53 une personne est rentrée dans l'appart et a dit la personne de nettoyage est là sans sonner sans rien prévenir !!!!! Enfin déçue !!!!je n'y retournerai plus

• Ritish (7/5): Friendly Location - The location is perfect when you are travelling with family. Apartment has all minimum amneties. Owner is very cooperative and friendly. Even though we came little early he allowed us to check-in There is bit of smokey smell in the apartment and water is logged in the bathroom when you one person takes shower.

We waited 40 minutes for the keys; it was 8 pm. The apartment needed renovation. It smelled strongly of grass.I never write bad reviews, but for 90 euros per night I expected better conditions.

• Kas (3/5): Maar 1 bed - De locatie Er werd beschreven dat er 2 tweepersoonsbedden waren en 1 slaap bank maar omdat we voor 2 personen hadden geboekt was er maar 1 tweepersoonsbed en 1 slaapbank.

• Bjarne (6/5): Appartement op zeer goede locatie maar er is werk aan. - Locatie is super. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. Het appartement is dringend aan vernieuwingen toe. Badkamer moet dringen vernieuwd worden ontbrekende doucheduur en kraan komt amper water nog uit, tv hangt veel te ver van de zetel. Overal zitten wel haken in de muur waar niets aanhangt.

Please be sure to read both parts of this review and others that have been left… This could be a fantastic apartment: great location, spacious, nicely decorated living room with a balcony… but…. The property did not have a washing machine as stated in the information which for us, was part of the reason we had picked it! We were touring and had built this in so we could do a wash. Most inconvenient… as well as untruthful. Also… no towels at all. No bath towels, no kitchen towels… just a pre-used bath mat. We had to buy towels, which of course, never dry well. The owner seems to think that not stating they are included is enough… no. The kitchen states it’s ready to use but there are no instructions for the free-standing microwave/possibly oven? … There are good pans, but no cooking utensils. Last, not least, some areas could do with a deeper clean. Dirty dishes in the cupboard and some areas in need of attention.

• Mark (3/5): Fundamentally a nice flat, but poorly presented and the bedding was not in accord with that promised - No breakfast; the location was good Contrary to to the property description there was only one double bed in the bedroom and a pair of interlocked sofas in the sitting room. The latter were not proper beds. They formed an angled settee and had to be separated before use. There was no bedding, except duvets without covers. This sofa did not meet the dimensions suggested. Pillows were very limited. There were no towels. There were dirty socks and other debris in the bathroom waste bin.

• Katie (6/5): Stunning location but read comments before arriving! - The apartment is beautiful and the location is perfect. There is a large underground car park (not free) just around the corner and it is just a minute’s walk from the shops, restaurants and river front. Dinant itself is amazing and surpassed all expectations. We were met at the apartment on time. Communication via text as messages via Bookings didn’t come through to my phone. I noticed that the owner works in the Sancerre restaurant on the riverfront, so is local if we had an issue. The property is extremely hot, as was the weather, but the thermostat didn’t change anything so it could really do with some fans. There wasn’t a washing machine and there were no towels, which wasn’t on the information description. Thankfully, we’d been camping, so went back to the car park to get our towels out from the car. There is only a blanket for the sofa bed and none of the spare bedding in the wardrobe or bed had pillow cases or duvet covers and it didn’t smell clean. As the apartment was so hot, we didn’t need them. I wish I’d read the comments more thoroughly.

There were no towels and no bedding for the second bed even though I booked for 3 people. Parking wasn’t free as advertised, free parking only started at 17.00.

• Louise (5/5): Nice place, terrible communication and check in - Central location and spacious apartment Extremely stressful check in. We advised the host of our check in time hours in advance, but were unable to reach host at time of arrival, and the address provided lacked house number which made it impossible to locate. It took over one stressful hour with tired kids waiting in the car to get to check in. It stressed and delayed our only night in Dinant and I find it unbelievable how several guests have complained about this very issue, yet somehow still remains to be corrected.
• Mariapaola (7/5): Overall a very good place where to stay, some improvements can make it perfect. Amazing location!! - The apartment is in the perfect location. We had a great view from the balcony, right in the city centre. We were 3 and it was the perfect number for that apartment. We found everything clean. We could have coffee and thee for free as well as access to Netflix and other streaming platforms. First of all, the house number isn't written in the description of the booking. We had to contact the host to have it. It was very difficult to reach out to the host. The communication wasn't fast. He told us to message him via Booking for anything we might have needed, but when we did, he didn't reply. In the description, it is written that there would have been complimentary toiletries, but we had to buy shampoo, shower gel, etc. Furthermore, there are no towels.
• Amanda (8/5): Lovely but not as per description - Great location, very clean and well kept. Really good kitchen. The description said that it had 2 double beds and a sofa bed in the lounge room. This is not what was delivered. There was 1 room with a double bed and a lounge room with a large and comfortable couch but not a sofa bed. There were couch cushions but no extra pillows for those sleeping on the couch.
• Adrienne (8/5): Stacks of space in a modern clean apartment in the centre of the town. - Very large apartment with a balcony that has a sideways view of the River Meuse. Had difficulty finding the apartment as had not received the instructions early enough on the day off arriving.

• Alexander (10/5): beautiful, safe apt and city of Dinant - host met me to give keys, explain/show apt/parking/city/etc, plus availability to answer questions anytime via cell/text/in-person. very clean, spacious 2 bedrooms with full beds, large sleep-able sofa, large smart tv with cable channels, fast Wi-Fi, walk-in shower with shower chair, and separate toilet with sink outside shower room. medium size fridge without freezer, convection oven/microwave, toaster, great tasting coffee maker, hot water kettle, glass stove top, dishwasher, new/clean utensils/cups/plates/glasses. No washer/dryer, but walkable laundromat nearby (open 7 days/wk 7am-8pm)

• Gina (1/5): Terrible and very rude host - The location was good but not worth it dealing with such a rude host. It was our honeymoon and we decided to book this apartment for just one night for our short trip. We had an issue with getting too hot in the apartment. We contacted the host to see if it was possible to get a fan. He insisted we use the thermostat (and on the phone called us stupid multiple times as we told him it wasn't working and it was only getting hotter in the apartment). He then insisted that we were stupid and didn't know how to use it and that he is coming over...(at 12am when we were already in pjs). When he got to us, instead of helping us out, the owner started cursing and yelling at us, demanding we pay him extra because he drove out to us. He then told us that because he lost an hour of sleep, we must to; so now we have to check out at 10. Then he decided to just tell us that we must leave the apartment right then and there (at 12:30 am). After a bit of back and forth, we told him we will leave if we get our $ back. He laughed in our face and continued to yell. At that point we had no choice but to get police involved, once we were going to call, he decided to calm down and leave. It was such an unpleasant experience and the last thing from a relaxing honeymoon. On top of all this: -The host decided that because we are only staying one night, we don't have access to the wash machine so he locked the door with it in it. - the bed was very small so me and my parter were unable to sleep comfortably together - free toiletries were promised and when we got there, there was hotel bottles that were empty. -there was a wet towel left there and the shower floor was brown -there is NO FREE PARKING. -there are no towels in the apartment, if u need one for the shower, you must lay an additional 15 euro per towel The owner is smart...he only takes cash....otherwise I would have just called my credit card to help deal with all of this.
• Malgorzata (1/5): Horrid !!! - Possibly location and size but….you need to read the rest… No communication from property regarding actual location and how to check in. Once contacted owner and shown to the property it was obvious that it’s not clean, bedding on main bed had unhygienic bedding without sheets. Despite booking accommodation for 2 adults and 2 teens I was told that sofa in living room only had a blanket to be used… then some quilts and pillows were shown to me but without sheets to cover. I was told that apartment is only for 2 people.. not 4 as advertised. I was told that if I don’t like it I can leave.. which we had no choice but to do…. at 8pm and nowhere to go…I wish I read previous reviews… but seen only positives.. Level of communication was poor once I questioned the bedding… there was no towels available either. When walking out I was shown to very dark corridor without light which was very uncomfortable…and possibly vulnerable… Also, no free parking as advertised… you can try to leave the car on the street or underground car park nearby. It’s horrible that they think the apartment is in acceptable state for any tourists!

Good location in the middle of services and close to the rive We had booked the apartment for three persons, but there were only sheets for two people. There were blankets for two persons and a blanket for the third person. Despite requests, we did not get more bedding. Our host only asked us to use the blankets found in the apartments as sheets. It was unpleasant to use blankets that others had already used as sheets. It is worth noting that towels are only delivered for an additional fee. The air conditioning was not working during our stay.

• Aditya_purohit (4/5): Disappointing - Room is just steps away from the river front and all the main attractions , there are enough restaurants near by and it's easily accessible Owner came late in the evening 6PM for us to checkin. He didn't accepted our booking on time and for his mistake we had to wait outside for 6 hours. We booked the room for 4 people and knowing that he didn't arrange enough cushions and blankets for us.
• Nemu (6/5): I would not want to come back to this non-clean apartment. Sorry ! - 1. The apartment is in the center of the city. 2. The apartment had good Wi-Fi & Netflix 3. The personal helped me carry my extremely heavy luggage. 1. It was not easy to locate the apartment through the navigation. 2. It looked like the apartment was not cleaned after the last guests left. 3. The toilet paper was almost over. However, I did not get a substitute for it. 4. As I arrived, the towels in the toilet were wet and used by previous guests. They were not replaced. 5. Booking a shower towel costs 15€ more. 6. The basin in the washroom had stains.

• Ngo (9/5): great location, nice place to stay and ideas for families stay. - Location is in the center, easy to get to the center. Appartement is clean and comfort. It is good idea for Families. The owner is friendly but please don’t forget to mention with your guests that parking are not free of charge as on the booking.com info. I had to pay one punishment tickets 25€ for one night parking in the parking the owner showed me. Clean and comfortable !
