- Ian (1/5): AVOID - I didn’t like anything about the property Smelt of weed all through the hotel On entering the room there was non English men sitting watching the television We waited downstairs a man stated they were cleaning the room It took them 6 mins to say the room ready on checking the room the room did not smell fresh dirty sheets I asked for another room They showed me another room which was even worse. The toilet had not been flushed there was a lot of stains on the beds We left and found somewhere

- Claire (7/5): Overall , I couldn’t really ask more for the money we paid for 5 people for 1 night … It did the job for a night maybe e - The location was good , the apartment size (deluxe) was exceptional. Downstairs large hall with balcony and massive double room with ample of space , two bedside tables and wardrobe, TV and little table and stool by the window (I could see the sea and from the bed)! Upstairs a large area with huge kitchen (basic cutlery and plates (not enough for the 5 of us , plus two glasses). Large bathroom and then the middle of the floor had a single bed with a partition separating the space where the double bed and dressing table are. Then a snug area with sofa and TV. Easy check in and out.. The kids loved the space… comfy beds , clean bedding and looked like brand new towels! Property was warm and had a heater (we didn’t need it). The property is in need of some refurb and a good clean , windows were dirty and stains on the carpet , broken oven at the bottom , don’t know if worked and not enough plates , cooking utensils, cups etc … shower still had soap stains and the chair had stains. Looked very grubby. With some tender loving care this property could rake in a lot more money..

- Charlotte (6/5): Pleasant - It was very easy and surprisingly quiet - everything worked, everywhere was clean and tidy. The shower was moderate and not hot enough- may have just been the one room as stayed before and it was roasting hot(!) the radiator could have done with being on or a small heater as got quite chilly in the evening when the weather turned but overall decent and good quality.

Just fully grim!!, not properly cleaned, no internet, so no TV access either, not enough plates, microwave had incorrect plate in it, so totally useless. Broken window, no wardrobes in two of the three rooms, fridge wasn't on, so when opened STANK putrid!! ripped off wallpaper with filler over the top!! Literally One curtain per Room! Over looking a full skip.... Just don't pay to come here, we're seeking a refund from the booking agent, weekend ruined & everywhere booked up due to the events going on ... Don't make our mistake by booking this lame excuse of a holiday flat!... only towel was a bath towel work space so limited in kitchen whe microwave is located on the sinks draining area. Sleeps 6 people but only 3 chairs. 1 curtain no tv via internet at all the length of our stay even tho we complain

- scott (1/5): I didnt stay in the property. Was too late to book anywhere else so i had to go home. - The area. It is on the front of skegness not far from the beach The first room smelled so bad of damp and everytime someone used a tap or toilet in their flats the boiler screached so loud constantly, Mutiple hairs found in the bed. They finally Moved me room hours after complaining. only to find hairs in that bed aswell i am talking 6 to 10 hairs not 1 or 2 I sent all the evidence to the owners and they refused a refund as it is stated in their policy. told me they would review and get back to me, theynever did hense why this review has only just being written. I have never left a bad review in my life but this is a fair considering my experience.
- Clare (1/5): Terrible experience and will not be booking again - Great location Old and run down, mattresses were terrible and need replacing as soon as you laid down the springs collapsed. No hot water, so trying to bath/shower kids was a nightmare. Called them out, managed to get the shower working long enough to shower one child before it was freezing again. Internet didn’t work at all. Was woken early hours of the morning with someone kicking a door in the property and shouting

- Ellie (7/5): Pleasant - Good location and large bedrooms Lovely and clean Fully functioning kitchen No comfortable seating, adults coming in early hours of the morning partying, which kept waking our children. Alarm coming from the box next to the main door beeps all night.

- Ady (1/5): Avoid! - Nothing On arrival we had to go to the property nextdoor, which had drunk people and drug users walking around reception, room was nothing like the pictures and did not feel comfortable staying there with a small child. We then found out from other people in the hotel that the council is housing homeless People in the hotel, and they were telling us that drug dealers are coming on and out of the hotel! We handed the keys back and left. As we left a van full of police went inside! We we were told that by the manager that we would be refunded but had to go through booking.com first. We did that and the hotel did not reply! The next day we received a phone call from the hotel and were told again that we could have a refund after explaining the situation. Still no refund! We have escalated this with booking.com and were told to call the property. Did that and still never received a refund! Give this place a miss!

- Becky (2/5): Wouldn’t reccomend - Location was perfect , lovely staff We had to go to a complete different hotel to check in which wasn’t stated when booking, the guy walked us to our room and struggled to even open our door. Room was very run down and not clean, you could hear the pipes under the floor all night and the bed was really uncomfortable and the pillows rock hard. Struggled to get back into the main door later on, rang and got told you had to cover the keypad to reset it? Who would know how to do that? Room was only cheap so got what we paid for.

- Keith (1/5): It was awful I had to go and sleep on the sofa in a friends apartment instead. - Location was alright. Thats it. It was know locally by the taxi drivers as the migrant hotel. I honestly have never stayed in a worse hotel in my life. Everything! I had to go to another hotel to collect the keys to my tiny room. The toilet made a hell of a noise. The shower had no door or curtain. The room was extremely dark.

Put guests each side of us partying in both rooms, shouting between rooms, extra people coming to party, shouting to people on street, Had to leave 1 day early. Will never recommend. Also when checking out the hotel where I booked in had no staff on reception so nowhere to put the key

- Kalinova (5/5): - It was close to the amusement park and it was quiet and peaceful. There was no remote control in our room. We sent a message and were told it would be brought to us, but it never was. We went to reception and got the same answer—that someone would come and bring it—but no one ever did. We had difficulty finding the exact location of the hotel. I was with a small child, and they responded slowly when I asked about the location. I called several times on the phone number provided by our hotel. We had to go to a neighboring hotel to get the key—it was very confusing.
- Paul (6/5): All in all a very quiet and pleasant stay , excellent view across the harbour from the room - The location was lovely right on the Brayford harbour waterfront, just a few minutes waterside stroll to the centre I found it a bit difficult to find the building and then the entrance to the property , once id found the property and the entrance to it , i then further struggled to manage the key safe codes x2, luckily for me some local students helped me out and everything was fine

- Maria (2/5): Terrible - No breakfast, good location Firstly, the front door answering machine wasn't answering. Secondly, the room location was not found easily due to misinformation. Lastly, Noises upstairs and the water dripping from the ceiling and 2 lights which not expected. The last unacceptable the relocation at Seaside hotel was horrible experience we didn't get family room as were separated and the bathroom running water from the shower was not good it was on hot or cold, which we cannot balance the temperature. Disappointed because we relocated to the separate room, bathroom water problem and there was no kitchen to hot our food so we threw them away 😕. We spent money for our accommodation because my children like the bathtub, and we encountered problems that was not met our expectations.
