Guest Reviews
- Charlotte (10/5): Amazing hosts, great little spot and super clean cottage. - The property was in a great location in a small village, next to a pub although it was very quiet and we couldn't hear any noise. It was super clean and had everything we needed. The hosts were amazing, super helpful with any questions and going above and beyond.
- Tracey (10/5): - Everything...our secret new place to stay. Wonderful hosts, stunning cottage, friendly locals and very quiet and peaceful xxx
- Margaret Ellen (10/5): Stayed a couple of nights to visit nearby relatives. The cottage is clean and comfortable. The hosts are exceptionally h - A beautiful and charming cottage in a very pretty location. The bed was comfy and clean. The kitchen area has everything you need. Lovely pub next door and a well stocked shop/post office just a few doors along. Nothing!
- Ally (10/5): I had a lovely stay at Daisy Cottage, Tom (host) was waiting for me when I got there, no worrying a - Location and set up of the cottage.
- Vincent (10/5): Excellent - Great location, great accommodation, and great hosts. Wifi is unstable, but everything else is perfect.
- Amy (10/5): Lovely place, lovely hosts and lovely village! - Super cosy, clean and the pub next door was an added bonus! The cottage and village had such a nice feel to it. It was great to see a local country pub filled with locals each night too! Only thing was the WiFi wasn’t great but it helped us disconnect during our stay so maybe a blessing in disguise.

- jill (9/5): - Sofa . Lent back a little too far.needed a shelf in the shower.
- Stephen (9/5): - Well equipped (apart from a teapot 8-) ) Bed up against the wall
- Christine (10/5): Fabulous - Gorgeous little cottage. Exceptionally clean and so many little extras thought of. Lovely location and really helpful hosts. I would definitely come back. Nothing
- Tim (8/5): Pub Cottage - The cottage is located behind the pub next to its very pretty beer garden. It is cosy and comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. It was spotlessly clean with a modern bathroom and small, well equipped kitchen. The lounge/dining area felt spacious and airy. The hosts live on site and were very friendly when they showed us to the cottage. Child Okeford is a lovely little village with lots of footpaths and walks to explore . The only negative for us was the relatively small bedroom, which had the bed against the wall with no space for a bedside table on one side.

- Claire (10/5): Weekend stay - The cottage is in a lovely position in the village behind the pub. The hosts are so friendly and helpful.
The cottage had everything we needed for our stay. It was very quiet and relaxing.
You can get food and drinks from the pub and in the morning there is coffee and pastries in the village shop.
Beautiful village location. Didn't get to stay longer.
- Edward (9/5): Superb -
- Sammy (10/5): Wonderful! - Sam and Tom were lovely hosts, nothing was too much trouble. The cottage was beautiful and immaculately clean with a super comfy bed!. Stunning little post card village & fabulous food and drink at the pub next door. We can’t wait to come back. Thank you both so much.
- Tracie (7/5): Daisy - Beautifully presented and next to pub. Bed a little small
- Carol (9/5): Peaceful, clean well maintained cottage - Location, peaceful. Needs blackout curtains for bedroom and bed too soft for our liking
- Dorothy (10/5): Perfect cottage in a chocolate box Dorset village. - Charming, classy, cosy cottage. Very Dorset. Sam and Thomas went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Felt like we were staying at a friends house rather than some souless holiday let. Pub next door served amazing food. Well stocked village shop. Close to trailway. Walks and cycle rides from the doorstep. Will definitely be coming back here lots!

- Eunice (10/5): Lovely location for a restful stress free break - Breakfast was not an option but we loved the location and John and Lynne were so friendly and lovely. Lynne found us a great local pub to eat within walking distance in the village. We felt very welcomed by everyone in the village and we could have easily stayed longer if we ad a longer holiday! Bonus too as John and Lynne's cottage and pub were dog friendly so Barney enjoyed it as well. Nothing - everything was great
- Paul (10/5): Ideal for a weekend getaway. Great value for money - Lovely self contained cottage in the grounds of a country pub. Fully equipped with everything needed - towels, bedding, toiletries, washing-up liquid, tea-towels. Very clean and spacious with double bed room and double sofa bed in the large lounge. Dog friendly. Great wi-fi and Sky TV.
Perfect hosts who were available but not 'in your face' Poor weather and winds on one of the days meant that the Sky connection wasn't great!
- John (10/5): Excellent value for money, a fantastic location and the landlord and landlady were excellent hosts. - Self catering
