• Pritam (6/5): Good place for Budget travellers - Location is close to MTR. Beds were comfortable, AC was working. The common bathroom and Toilet are too small, you can hardly move around in it to close the door or comfortably take bath. One of the day a full size cockroach came from Toilet near my bed to say Hi and went below the bed.

• Jesabelle (5/5): It was okay for me. Not that good and not that bad. - The bathroom and the shower. Has a good heater and a shower. So far the toilet is the cleaner part of the room. Lucky to get that room that has a clean bathroom. Indian restaurants just downstairs. Closer to mtr and some tourist attractions. Easy access of the public transpo. Closer to luxuries shopping mall and ofc Chinese restaurants and Pinoy foods. I wish they clean the room more. I smells like cleaning stuff in the bed doesn’t mean the room is clean. There is like a shelf to put some stuff on, but it need to be clean. Like wipe it to remove those dirt and dust. Headboard is dusty and under the bed is so dirty. It made me so uncomfortable, like knowing under my bed is dirty and there is a big bag under as well. If doesn’t have a vacuum, can use broom, dustpan and a mop. Clean wet towel to wipe the dirt and dust in to the headboard and shelf. Yes make sure it’s a clean towel, so there will be no uncomfortable smells stick on to those part.

• ksch89 (6/5): Good value. Get what you pay for. - Crazy building. Tons of action. But it's a cheap room in a central location. So you get what you pay for. There's not going to be a lot of services and you are left alone, which is a nice thing. Good value. Waiting for elevators is ridiculous in this building. So plan to be patient and don't expect to go anywhere quickly if you are trying to move around during peak hours (unless you want to walk 11 flights of stairs).

• Eugene Mae (10/5): Overall its good. The place is more likely a center of your needs and everything. Thats all. - The owner/landlady was approachable and kind. Good service overall. Nothing. All good.

Room is too small that it doesn’t have space for luggage. Broken aircon. Dirty hallway. Bed sheets hanging on the hallway to dry. We booked 5 nights but we didnt stay even just for a single night. Horrible place. Description and pictures are too far from actual. Won’t recommend booking a stay there and it’s non-refundable. Such a waste of money and time.

Per le prime 3 notti ho dormito in una stanza che di "Deluxe" non aveva nulla. Un buco. Scomodissima. Praticamente sono stato truffato. Non hanno voluto darmi i soldi della differenza e tramite WhatsApp, hanno scritto un sacco di stupidaggini per non poterlo fare. ⚠️ DA EVITARE ⚠️

• Van Chung (4/5): Terrible - Location. I booked a 16 m2 room as advertised. I was initially given a 3.5 m2 (room 509). I complained and was given a 8.5 m2 (room 1301 block B). When I complained about 509, the receptionist rudely said: you can cancel your booking now if you want. Two weeks prior I booked a room, just opposite at 1/2 of the price. I thought i was ripped off

Everyone can get inside the hotel cuz they have the password written in the door ! And the owner got mad at me just because I asked to see the camera!! And he refused to call the police!! ******** DONT STAY IN THIS PLACE ******* I GOT robbed inside the room they stole 2000 dollars from my bag !!! • Nguyễn (8/5): - I stayed here for two nights. I met the manager, who is a woman. She was so nice. She upgraded me to a larger room at no extra charge. She even helped look after my luggage after I checked out because my flight was at night. So lovely. The room might be small, but for the price and the location, especially being so close to Victoria Harbour and other amenities and shops, I really can’t ask for more.

• Karl (3/5): I won’t book this hostel again - Location is convenient and you can buy food and drinks even at late night that’s nice. The room was extremely small, no window, broken facilities and did not match description and pictures at all it was claimed to be double deluxe room but by far it was a tiny single.

There was no one to attend to us. there was a message that said we need to call a certain number then they will come to open for us we must pay 200 Hong Kong Dollar for them to come open. We did not have local sim cards to call then we had to look for accommodation, we arrive around 23h00, with no place to stay. Horrible experience
• Shafqat Mughal (10/5): Hong Kong 🇭🇰 is a great and amazing Destination go ✈️ and enjoy this part of the world yourself 😀 - Located in the heart ❤️ of the city Tsim Tsaw Tsui (Chungking Mansion Building) and an affordable stay. walking🚶‍♂️distance to tourist attractions like Kowloon park, Kowloon islamic centre Mosque, Victoria harbour, MTR station, Major bus connections, Hong Kong 🇭🇰 museum of the Art, star ferry ⛴️ terminal etc. It's great location and Destination of variety of food dishes if you're from Pakistan 🇵🇰, India 🇮🇳 Bangladesh 🇧🇩 Nepal 🇳🇵Philippines 🇵🇭 😀 and also from European 🇪🇺 countries. Highly recommend to live this area if you are a budgeted traveller Note: Our Host was Mr, Hasnain from Indian origin, he helped a lot and Guide us to late check-in the Hostel without any additional charges 😀 thanks Gentleman. Too expensive country. foods, prices are higher more than 3 times if you compare them with the UAE 🇦🇪 food dishes prices 😋. Example you will pay HKD 40 If you buy a Chicken 🐔 Biryani. almost all dishes starts from HKD 30

• Joanna (3/5): Wouldn't recommend - The only thing that I liked was the location as it is very convenient. I'm not very picky with accommodations and it's not my first time staying at a guesthouse in Chungking Mansions but this by far is the worst. The only good thing about the property is the location. We booked at Manhattan Guesthouse but were placed in another guesthouse (Payless Guesthouse I think) in a different block where a lot more people were staying at so elevators always had long lines. It was a bit difficult to check in since we did not see an office or a counter. We had to call the office through the phone. In the room, only 1 towel was provided. I'm not sure if the toiletries were usable, it seems like these were just left by a previous guest in the bathroom. Bathroom was horrible, we can't even close the sliding door properly so it was a bit open when we used it. Even the toilet seemed a bit wobbly. The photos are very different from the room that we were placed in. There are a lot of better properties with the same price range. Please choose another one when you book.
