- John (8/5): Good overnight for dash to the ferry - The breakfast snd dinner were good. As usual on this trip the staff were friendly. We had to stay on second floor. The hotel is on a former US airbase. The streets are all name for state and laid out like fifties subdivision. So wyoming crosses carolina twice. The gsp was completely confused but by walking and tracing my path on phone we were able to travel.

The costs were all reasonable and certainly better than what we had paid for lesser accommodation. There was no breakfast available, but this is more of a comment than a gripe.

- Kristen (4/5): Pretty but not a good area to stay with a young family. - The decor and look of the property is beautiful. Rooms are updated and well stocked. We needed pet friendly however we were put on the second floor. There is no elevator and we needed to make about 6 trips up and down the strairs based on the luggage we needed to bring. The neighbour wasn’t the best and had a lot of individuals around and near the hotel so we didn’t feel comfortable leaving our things outside in the car overnight. There was RCMP present at the hotel in the morning due to a situation on the property.

We are of the age when nighttime bathroom trips are necessary! The outlets were inconveniently placed, so that cords had to be laid on the bed. (For the sleep apnea machine, hearing aids, etc.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Very easy check-out. Internet was solid as was the TV channel selection. One of the kitchenette cupboard shelves had not been cleaned properly. There was strewn popcorn from a previous occupant.

Wonderful young nan staffing desk and bar and helping with maintenance issues. Badly overpriced!! Very clean though.

The hotel was closed when we arrived at 4:30 pm. Doors locked. Lights off. Called phone number on the door. No answer. Tried to leave a voice message, but the mailbox was full. Tried emailing, but there was no response. Ended up at the Days Inn, which is quite nice.

Restaurant was closed. Hot cold water controls on shower took 15 min to adjust. There was no ice machine available to use I had to get some from downstairs bar. Room had no iron or ironing board. When one was requested and provided it was tabletop model. I requested Ice at the bar and it was provided in a bucket. literal metal bucket. Got locked outside of facility on the day of departure for 20 min in the rain. Had to call front desk woman at the bar to find she was locked in as well.
