• Kanilka (10/5): The best stay we had in Azerbaijan 🇦🇿 - We had a great time at Bristol hotel. It was in the middle of the Nizami Street. Everything was in walking distance. The staff was very nice and welcoming. They provided us free breakfast even though we didn’t book the room with breakfast. I should specially mention that they gifted us a cake when we let them know our special occasion ❤️ Hotel room was simple and clean. We got a room with a balcony which is directly facing Nizami Street. We loved it🔥 We can recommend anyone to visit this nice hotel and have a great time ❤️
• Esra (3/5): Konum için evet temizlik ve kahvaltı işin asla - Tesis bize bir balkonlu bir balkonsuz oda almamıza rağmen 2 balkonlu oda verdi, uçak saatimize kadar yaklaşık 2-3 saat chek-out saatimiz bitmesine rağmen valizlerimizin durmasına izin verdi bu ikisi dışında başka hiçbir şeyleri iyi değildi. odanın balkonu harikaydi 4 gecemizi de arkadaşlarımızla o balkonda geçirdik. Birde konumu mükemmeldi her yere yürüyerek gidebiliyorduk örneğin içerişeher ve qız qalasına 5 dk ama tesisin düzeltmesi gereken birçok eksiği var ne yazıkki. Booking’den rezervasyon yapmış olmamıza rağmen oraya gittiğimizde rezervasyon hakkında bilgilerin olmadığını söylediler oysaki ben WhatsApp’tan menajerleri ile görüşmüştüm ve bizleri beklediklerini söylemişlerdi aralarındaki iletişimsizlik ilk etapta bizi rahatsız etti. Gece çok geç saatte varmamıza rağmen odamıza su dahi konulmamıştı neden odamızda su olmadığını sordugumda temin edeceklerini temin ettiklerinde odaya vereceklerini söylediler. anca kaldığımız dört gün boyunca odamıza bir kere bile su konulmadı. tüm otelde çok ilginç bir yemek kokusu vardı. Kahvaltıyı fotoğraf olarak ekleyeceğim Kahvaltı dahil sectitiğiniz bu tesis kahvaltı anlamında tam bir vasattı. Türkler misafirperverlikleri ile bilinmesine rağmen maalesef bu tesiste pek dostcanlısı bir iletişim kuramadık. 4 gün boyunca odamız temizlenmedi. Tesiste kalışımızın daha 2. Gününde bookinge yorum yapmamız söylendi. Tabiikide o tarihlerde yapmayacağımı ancak seyahatim bittiğinde yapabileceğimi söyledim. Çarşaflar eski ve temiz görünmüyordu.

The team went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. The main manager, Miri, was incredibly supportive throughout our stay; from arranging airport transfers to guiding us around the city and ensuring everything ran smoothly. Lula, the cook, prepared excellent breakfasts every morning with great care and warmth. Ali, the night shift manager, was genuinely helpful and proactive, assisting us with car rental arrangements and always available when needed. Truly a team that makes a difference. Nothing significant to highlight. Overall, the experience exceeded expectations thanks to the attentive and well-coordinated staff.

I was told there is a new professional team managing the hotel now, and it clearly shows in the service and overall organization. Everything went perfectly during my stay. Highly recommended.

I had a short chat with the staff and learned that the hotel now has a new management team. You can really feel the difference: everyone was professional, friendly, and very helpful. They made my stay smooth and comfortable from start to finish. Would definitely stay here again. The building is historical, and the team already doing some extra renovations. Sadly there is no elevator, but not a big deal.

Since the room is not yet ready, the manger offer us to stay on the next door VERMONT CAFE , offers tea/coffee, light snack, use the Playstation, free of charge while waiting. They prefer to pay in cash, since we don’t have manat bills, the manager gave us short tour around the area where we can exchange currencies, best restaurant, and show us which way going to tourist spots.

If this hotel had a lift then it would be the best place to stay because there are loads of stairs that needs to be climbed and after a long day of roaming around in Baku, that's the last thing anyone would want to do.

The Hard Rock Cafe ist Long closed and the Hotel building ist in Bad condition and all Shops/Café in the building closed. The entrance by stairs are uncomfortable and dirty. The Breakfirst room very poor.

• Mohana (1/5): LOST A REPEAT CLIENT AND FREQUENT TRAVELER - 😔 nothing unfortunately Here’s why I am highly disappointed with the current arrangement & Bristol. 1) I was not informed about me being shifted to a different property beforehand - neither was i aware why I was shifted out from my primary booked accomodation. The manager shifted me to some hotel called Sera hotel ,8 mins walking from Bristol. 2) I booked a room with balcony in Bristol - The room given to me didn’t have a balcony 3) it’s too small to even open my luggage 4) the staff doesn’t speak English 5) there is no water in the room nor kettle and basic amenities. 6) breakfast had only 2 slices of bread, few olives and 1 egg boil 7) I paid 99 manat( roughly 4.8k in INR) for staying in Bristol in a higher category room - if you guys didn’t have it- should have not confirmed the booking. 8) there were no water bottles in the room, no kettle - nothing 9) on checkout - there was no one to help with luggage and upon telling I have a broken wrist - an old man was sent who was finding it difficult to climb down 4 floors - n finally I helped myself. If this wasn’t enough : no one bothered to respond to my msg/call As a repeat guest - it is highly disappointing for me that I was asked to say yes to staying somewhere else and without my consent changed my stay . • Eduardo (1/5): BAKU IS A BEAUTIFUL CITY, BUT OUR HOTEL IS NOT! - THE LOCATION IS EXCELLENT RECEPTION IS NOT 24/7 I REQUESTED EARLY CHECKIN AND THE HOTEL REPLIED "SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY". WE REACHED THE LOCATION AND MET SOME GUESTS CHECKING OUT. UPON REACHING THE RECEPTION, HAVE TO WAIT 3 HOURS BEFORE THE LADY CAME AND ASSIST US. SHE SAID THAT THE HOTEL IS FULLY BOOKED. I EXPLAINED TO HER THAT SOME GUESTS ALREADY CHECKED OUT. SHE CALLED THE MANAGER AND ADVISED US TO STAY IN OTHER ROOM (AT ADDITIONAL 30 AZN) WHILE WAITING FOR OUR ROOM TO BE READY BY 2PM SO WE DECIDED TO HAVE BREAKFAST OUTSIDE INSTEAD. AT 12NN, THE LADY KNOCKED THE DOOR OF OUR SUPPOSED ROOM TO ADVISE THE GUEST OF THE 12NN CHECKOUT BUT TURNED OUT THAT THE ROOM IS EMPTY SINCE WE REACHED. THE GUEST WE MET AT THE MAIN ENTRACE OF THE HOTEL CHECKED OUT AT 6:30AM IS THE OCCUPANT OF OUR ROOM! SHOULD THERE BE A RECEPTIONIST 24/7, THEY CAN MONITOR THE IN AND OUT OF THEIR GUESTS.

• Shelvin (6/5): Pleasant - Location was decent but there are definitely other hotspots. Rooms were decently comfortable. Hotel Bristol is not as advertised. Breakfast was delayed so do not expect it before 9. Although, they say it starts at 8:30 on their signboard. All tours and programmes start at 8 There was no hot water for most of the days. It is a necessity for travellers. No room service. I was informed on the last day that you have to ask for it though the hotel advertises daily housekeeping.

• Avani (6/5): It you want to make your trip nightmare then only choose them - It’s in the city center Poor customer service, rude and miss behaving staff. No online payment - make you rush to market in search of cash Broken bed - two bed were joined and it was broken from center. No Air condition in April - Even as a customer you die out of feeling hot they will not switch on Air condition nor they have any FAN. We called the police as well they promised to get this repaired or they will change the room, but nothing happened and police didn’t even came again to double check the sufferings of tourists in there country

• Bandar (10/5): Exceptional - Before I booked this hotel I saw the reviews some of them bad some of them good. But I deicided to check it. I did not regret everything was superb especillay Manager Fuad and Reception Shamkhal. Room is new renovated ( i want to say about the comments where other guests mentioned that the hotel is old renovated for this money this the best choise if you are seraching something better pay double price and book other hotel which one is more expensive). Service is excellent (remember you have to warn them that you need room cleaning because the houskeeping lady has no right to enter room without guest permission). Location is amazing. Thanks a lot.

• Eden (5/5): Late Breakfast. I was not able to have my breakfast during my stay because the tours start early at 8:00am and breakfast - Location and Balcony View Late Breakfast No daily cleanup and changing of beddings towels etc. No elevator. No creditcard payment and need cash payment

• Montoya (5/5): It was nice experience other staff are nice too. What I don't like is paying extra than what I saw here on booking.c - I like the location. I didn't like the additional payment because I used card on payment. The staff is asking us to pay in cash, but as I understand I can pay by card. What I don't know that I need to pay extra for paying using mastercard. We actually checked in at 11pm 31st of March and checked out in 3rd of April 7am. I paid for 5 days, I ask them if we can have a refund for 1 day but they didn't gave us.

• Валерия (8/5): Thank you for resolving all our requests! After our complaints a repairer came in the morning to fix curtains and I was - The stuff and management are very great. They fixed everything we asked for, helped with all our questions including taxi, exchange, restaurants, late breakfast. All our requests were resolved quickly. The location of the hotel is perfect, the view is amazing. We stayed in 2 different rooms and unfortunately our last room was not good. It’s bigger, but almost everything was broken. The hair dryer was broken, the light couldn’t turn off at night, the curtains were hanging down so neighbors could see us. The bathroom was with a big window it was super cold in there and the room as well. And plus last 2 days we didn’t have hot water because of breakdown in this area, I got sick after this trip. The breakfast has small options but still nice.
