Guest Reviews
- Camilla (10/5): Lovely little cabin for 3 of us (2adults & an 8yr old) beautiful setting and lots near by to explore. - Beautiful setting , very comfortable with good space. Great host and very quiet Nothing
- Victoria (10/5): Comfortable and relaxing - Beautiful location and exactly as described. Hosts were extremely accommodating, will definitely go back
- Adrean (10/5): - I loved the location and how quiet it was (nice escape from city life). Will definitely staying again
- Sarah (10/5): Getaway for nature lovers in Kent countryside. - We stayed here while walking the north Downs way. It is a stunning peaceful countryside location, cosy well appointed cabin with huge bed, very comfy. Hosts very friendly and responsive to our requests.
- sharon (10/5): - Peaceful location. A helpful host who helped us with our luggage and settled in.
Really comfortable bed.
- esme (9/5): Lovely cabin. Will go again if in the area in the future - We were going to a wedding in the old Kent barn, this cabin seemed to be in a perfect near location for it and could comfortably accommodate the 4 of us. The owners were very accommodating and nice and willing to help from the start. They really were amazing. The cabin is located in a beautiful place in the fields. If you are looking for a place to relax and walk around in nature this is your place! The cabin was very nicely decorated but some features were a bit flimsy, like the sticky doors for instance. But nothing serious. Our bed was very Comfortable and big but the kid's bed was a sofa pull out bed a bit thin and not so Comfys.
- Kirstie (10/5): Perfect! - Was a beautiful little cabin, comfortable and had everything we needed. It was out of the way and in complete peace and quiet.
John was accommodating and helped with everything we required. Nothing.
- Maria (10/5): - A wonderful beautiful place, and John and Natalia were super friendly and helpful!
- Dean (10/5): - We had a fantastic winter nights stay with John and his family.very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Tea coffee etc all supplied. We wouldn’t hesitate to go back or record to anyone. One thing ! Take a torch just for the walk from your car to the property.
- Bridget (7/5): Despite the above we were warm & comfortable. - A lovely warm welcome from John & everything we needed for a couple of nights. Couldn’t lock the front door, & couldn’t get the fire in the sitting area to work as the handle was loose.
- Lucy (10/5): -
- Lucy (10/5): - Everything, would move in permanently 😊 Only thing id like is washing up liquid so could do my own washing up!
- Chelsey (10/5): - Location was perfect, quiet and calm, cabin was cosy and romantic.
Host was very helpful
- Karen (8/5): Pleasant.. was only a short overnight stay so we could be close to family… would definite consider for a longer family v - Cosy and comfy with lots of potential. Host was very friendly and pleasant … though once we settled in we couldn’t get hold of with queries. You had to walk through a dark muddy field to get to the property… some string garden lights along the way would fix that… after a little rain the ground was very slippery … a demarcated stone chipping pathway could resolve that as well.
- Laura Theoff (10/5): Overnight stay - The cabin is beautiful! Really cosy and homely, had all the essentials, huge comfy bed. Outside space is fantastic, quiet, secure. John is a brilliant host, super helpful and friendly. Nothing to dislike, just wish we could have stayed longer!

- Mary (9/5): Superb -
- Charlene (8/5): Lovely stay - Very peaceful location with welcoming hosts who greeted us on arrival and showed us to the lovely cabin accomodation. Lovely
spacious stay, provided with towels and the use of WiFi- not that it was needed for a peaceful getaway here :) there were a few minor cleanliness misses, a.k.a outside seating and cushions. Nothing that hindered a lovely stay mind you with an exceptionally cosy stay. Thank you to John and Natalja :) N/A
- Anita (10/5): Perfect location, peaceful sleep. Super friendly welcome. - Amazing location in the beautiful countryside. So close the Le Shuttle (10-15mins). Peaceful sleep on comfy bed. Friendly welcome. Lovely Sunday lunch at Tiger Inn. A little awkward using the pullout sofa bed for adult son. Bathroom through our bedroom. Still worked well though.

Scenario was beautiful & felt very much like we were in the middle of nowhere but also felt very secure & private.
Was met by the lovely owner John who walked us down who showed and gave us abit of information on the land and places we could visit.
We would definitely go and stay again and this time take our son who would love the outdoors running around 😊
- Gail (9/5): Superb - The fabulous big bed and the serenity.
We also had a very warm welcome We were lucky it didn't rain and that we only has carry on luggage as the cottage is at the bottom of the garden
- Morayn (10/5): Fantastisch - Beautiful surroundings, very spacious cabin, big comfortabele bed, loads of entertainment for kids. John the owner is great.

Cabin was gorgeous, very comfortable and had everything you could ask for on a night away.
The host was lovely too, very friendly, informative and nothing was too much trouble for him.
We would definitely recommend and will be going back again next year .
- Fen (10/5): Amazing Cabin - take me back - The cabin was so comfy and adorable, we immediately felt at home. The host was so friendly and accommodating, we couldn't ask for a better host. We would easily stay there again, when we next visit the area, and highly recommend it to everyone. We loved everything
- Daniel (10/5): The perfect stopover on a long journey. - The three of us were guests for two nights during our stopover on our journey home from Wales to Germany. We were warmly welcomed by John and were able to relax and rest well before continuing our journey home. John and his family were super friendly and the log cabin was cosily furnished. On the second evening we also had a cloudless sky and were able to watch the stars. The location is great: very quiet and you feel very close to nature. We will definitely be back. Thank you very much for your hospitality!

- Ashley (10/5): Exceptional - From the moment we arrived it was totally relaxing. Extremely quiet setting. Host John very attentive, very friendly and recommended an excellent restaurant which I couldn't fault. Everything we could want. Will definitely be going back.
- Klikavec (10/5): Exceptional - Nice cozy cottage in a village near Dover, ideal for sleepover before traveling to mainland. Parking is ~50m from the cottage, so if you have lot of luggage you need to carry it. But not a big deal.
- Cherian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Maureen (10/5): Beautiful, clean accommodation n - One of the best places I've stayed using booking.com
I liked everything about it. Spotless clean, comfortable firm bed. Large shower, nice hot water, clean towels. Equipped with every you would need. Owners were very helpful, friendly . They went out of there way to help me.
Will definately use them again and will recommend them to my friends as well.
Lovely & sunny when I arrived, view from the windows was lovely, horse in the field next to the garden. Raining when I left but didn't spoil my stay. Cannot fault it all
- Bull (10/5): Absolutely brilliant - The location was perfect, So quiet and peaceful with amazing views. The cabin was really beautifully decorated to a high standard. The host was very friendly and welcoming. Had a lovely night away and will deffinatly come back!
- Soňa (10/5): Exceptional - Everything. We have never experienced such warm welcome and great chat before like with John and Natalja. The place is magical, quiet surrounded by nature so if you travel by eurotunnel or ferry, this is truly a relax 'must' stop:) But I strongly recommend to stay there more days. Place is amazing also for kids, many animals live around. Huge garden, cabin very clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed. Parking and wifi also with no problem..many thanks for everything. My daughter loved every minute at your place 💜
- Robert (9/5): Large log cabin in beautiful countryside. - Lovely country location.
Stylish log cabin accomodation. Precise location could be clearer.
- Mandy (10/5): The perfect pad for short and long visits - Second stay in a week, returning from France. Was so pleased to be back; such a comfortable bed and relaxing environment. Will be recommending the cabin to all of our friends who drive to France, and I know we will be back again ourselves. Having g to leave.
- Mandy (10/5): Perfect and peaceful - The pictures do not do this piece of heaven justice. From the moment you pull up and meet John the lovely owner, you are made to feel at home. The garden the cabin sits in is delightful; the cabin itself is super comfortable. We stopped for one night on our way to France - hugely convenient for the Chunnel. We are stopping again on our way back this weekend and we are very much looking forward to it - not something you normally feel about a ‘stop off’. There was nothing to dislike, apart from the fact we had to leave at 6am to get our train which made us sad.
- Egle (10/5): A lovely weekend getaway - We had a brilliant break with friends, the cabin had everything we needed and the hosts were very accommodating and friendly. Complete privacy and stunning countryside views, with horses grazing nearby. An absolute hidden gem, we hope to be back soon.
- T. (9/5): Superb -
- Lauren (10/5): Loverly, friendly, clean, homely - Nice and quiet, host was really friendly and helpful. Nice little place to get away from every day life. All good
- Adele (10/5): We wished we could have stayed another night we loved it - The separate rooms were good for a cabin and generously sized and well decorated. Nothing
- Ella (9/5): We went for a birthday and it exceeded our expectations. Lovely cabin and stay. The Host was really welcoming and accomm -
- Ollie (9/5): Superb -
- Charlotte (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chris (10/5): Amazing! Cozy and beautiful cabin in the gorgeous countryside. - A Beautiful cabin! A stunning location and wonderful hosts.
Cabin was clean, cozy and comfortable. All the modern comforts you want in a lovely location thats secluded enough that you feel your on your own in the countryside. Ideal location for walking/hiking in the local area, open fields with zero light pollution for stunning views of the night sky. Amazing wildlife directly outside.
We spent 5days in the cabin and can honestly say it was perfect in every way. Would definitely recommend and we will definitely be heading back
- Liam (10/5): The owner met us on the property and was so warm and welcoming. He made sure we were absolutely happy and settled before - Beautiful private lodge with everything you need amenities wise. You could live there comfortably for a long time. Perfectly secluded for maximum privacy and comfort.
