• Jiří (8/5): Velmi dobré pro každého, kdo přijel za památkami a nechce být v izolaci v hotelu - Byt je v domě, kde se běžně bydlí, okolí plně zachycuje místní kolorit. Potraviny, drogerie, zelenina jsou pár minut chůze od ubytování. Luxor temple a veřejný trajekt na druhý břeh Nilu jsou v dochozí vzdálenosti. Majitelé jsou milí a vstřícní lidé ne úplně spolehlivé připojení k Wifi, ale s tím je nutno v Egyptě počítat. Do bytu doléhá ruch z ulice, noční život též patří do místního koloritu.
• Sabia (9/5): Un’esperienza più autentica di luxor - La casa è pulita, molto comoda e spaziosa. La famiglia che la gestisce è molto accogliente: quando arrivi ti invitano a casa loro per un tè, ti spiegano dove si trovano supermercati, buoni ristoranti, ecc. il papà può anche portarti a fare un gita in feluca molto bello (consigliato) La posizione è perfetta se si vuole soggiornare fuori dalla zona più turistica e caotica del centro. In 15 minuti si raggiunge a piedi il tempio di luxor. Niente di negativo da segnalare
• Ariette (10/5): - L'appartamento era molto pulito e accogliente. Quello che ha reso il nostro soggiorno ancora più piacevole è stata la disponibilità e la gentilezza della famiglia. Spremuta di limone ottima!! Durante il nostro soggiorno l'acqua calda non è stata mai erogata, ma visto il caldo non ha presentato un problema.
• MARIA JOSE (9/5): - Apartamento ubicado a 20 minutos caminando del templo de Luxor. Es amplio y dispone de todo lo necesario. La familia es encantadora y te ayuda en todo lo necesario durante tu estancia.
• Claudia (10/5): Bsics nicht erfüllt - Frühstück, Betten waren bequem , Bettzeug einfach und sauber, ruhige Gegend ab 0.00 Uhr Als wir es gefunden hatten, war keiner da der aufmachen konnte , Telefonisch nicht erreichbar. Jemand aus der Nachbarschaft hat uns geholfen. Die Wohnung selbst war gut, aber nicht geputzt (Sand, Staub, unsauberes Geschirr) und die Betten waren nicht gemacht, wir mussten diese selbst beziehen. Haben auch den Boden gekehrt. Als wir uns beschwerten , wurde die Frau unverschämt und sagte es wäre normal, und es liegt daran das wir Deutsche wären und nicht daran gewöhnt. Sie hat dann nochmal mit ihrer Schwester geputzt. Die Gegend ist eine normale Wohngegend ! Wir hatten 2 Nächte gebucht, sind am nächsten Tag umgezogen.
• Joachim (4/5): - Ich habe die Unterkunft wegen der guten Bewertungen ausgewählt. Leider entsprach das, was wir vorfanden, überhaupt nicht unseren Vorstellungen. Es ist das erste Mal, daß wir sofort wieder gegangen sind und uns eine andere Bleibe gesucht haben. Schade.

• noirazi (10/5): 性价比极其高 - 房间很大，很干净，设施也很齐全，可以自己做点简餐，卫生间非常的大，并且干湿分离。厅里我们可以把行李箱都打开，放很多东西阳台上可以晾衣服，主人非常热情，我们到了以后就给我们泡茶喝，还会准备当地的早餐。主人自己就住在楼下，他们的房间很漂亮，很干净。 入住前就会通过whatsup联系你，有问必答。 嗯，唯一不满意的地方就是位置不太好找。因为不再靠马路或者靠外面的地方，他要街区的第二排要穿过一个小巴扎，所以一定要有房东来接你，我们当时多亏了包车司机帮我们打电话联系
• Simon (10/5): - It's in an urban area but right next to a public cafe park with seating areas to relax and enjoy a coffee. It can be a bit noisy in the evening but very quiet at night to get a good night's sleep in a comfortable bed. The kitchen has a washing machine and there's a washing line on the roof which was very useful. It's a large spacious apartment with tv area and dining table. Large separate shower area meant no wet floor near sink or toilet. The breakfast was omelette, salad with bread and tea which was adequate for me but I had my own coffee. Also allowed to leave my cycle in the safe entrance area under the stairs. Nothing really but a little difficult to find. Go to the Temple Hotel and you will see the park entrance. Walk through the park and the apartment block is the second on the right.
• Motoko (9/5): リーズナブルに、好立地での宿泊を求める方にお勧めな宿です - ルクソールの主要エリアの付近に位置しており、観光の拠点として非常に優れています。 ホストは家族で宿を切り盛りされていて、非常に親切なお母様と、キッズの賑やかな声が、そのエリアの治安の良さを示している気がします。 宿自体は日本人基準で綺麗とは言いづらいですが、値段を考慮すると全然許容できると思います。 宿がGoogleマップで検索できないため、最初のチェックインのときに大変難儀しました。事前に綿密にコミュニケーションを取って外でお出迎え頂けるように調整しておくと安心できるかもしれません。
• Garen (8/5): Budget friendly apartment in a local neighborhood - The hosts are great people. We arrived a few hours early after our Nile cruise ended early. The room was ready and a family member met us on the street which helped because I don’t think there was a sign with the name (see pic of entrance) The building is in a local residential neighborhood. Our first impression was the street was a bit sketchy looking and dirty (trash/debris everywhere typical of most of Egypt). HOWEVER, the neighbors were all very nice and welcoming with kids paying in the street, trying to converse with us in English, riding bikes, etc. Travel is about experiencing the people and culture and we got a small glimpse into local life by being in a local apartment. We always felt safe, even at night. The entire apartment is very secure with two locked doors. The apartment is centrally located with a 10-20 minute walk into the tourist/temple areas and markets and a 5-10 minute walk into less touristy areas. There was a grocery store 2 min away and several good cafes 2-10 minutes away. The breakfast was tasty (bread, eggs, tomatoes, cucumbers, cheese and oranges) and brought to our room at our desired time. The use of the laundry machine and deterrent was perfect timing after our Nile cruise. We didn’t use the kitchen much but there was a refrigerator, sink, dishes, pots/pans, silverware and a microwave. The balcony was small but a nice option. Our host offered tours or a boat ride and set us up with an early morning taxi ride to the bus station (met us at the door to help with luggage too). Replies were quick if we needed anything at all. The property could have been a little bit cleaner, especially the shower drain as another review mentioned (I had to pull a hair clog out to drain the shower water during our first use). A hand towel or paper towels would be helpful in the kitchen and bathroom. Same with some dish detergent in the kitchen. The bed sheets looked a bit old. All relatively minor things to me.
• Katarzyna (10/5): Wspaniale - Doskonałe miejsce do doświadczenia lokalnego życia. Obiekt prowadzi wspaniała, ciepła i gościnna rodzina. Dodatkowo można poprosić o zorganizowanie rejsu po Nilu, wynajęcie taxi, zorganizowanie wycieczki do doliny Królów itd. Doskonale śniadania. Wspomnę też jak wspaniale zostaliśmy ugoszczeni, po przylocie z samego rana o 7:00- właściciel odebrał nas z lotniska, a następnie otrzymaliśmy jeszcze śniadanie. Polecam z całego serca
• yufeng (5/5): 嘈杂的环境 - 住宿面积相对比较大。有起居室，卫生间,卧室。颜色装修的比较鲜亮。周围购物比较方便。位置离尼罗河和卢克索神庙都不远，走路都可以过去。 位置不好找，我只能根据地图来到了附近，最后是打电话跟住宿方联系,住宿方找到我,带我来到了具体位置。周围的环境很嘈杂。不知道是不是特殊情况，我住在那里的一晚上，周围的孩子们一直在大声的尖叫。我整晚都无法入睡。

• MALIKA (10/5): - Accueil très chaleureux de Sabrina et de ses enfants. Ils ont été tout le temps à notre écoute et très disponibles. Quartier proche de la corniche sur le Nil, permettant une belle balade à pieds pour aller au temple de Louxor, au musée de la momification, au souk et une navigation en felouque. L’appartement est spacieux et propre. Nous recommandons vivement cette adresse !
• Oasis Edam (10/5): Wonderful - I totally recommend the Ahmed family’s place to anyone traveling to Luxor! It was hands down the hidden gem of our trip to Egypt. Those moments turned out to be the warmest memories of our entire journey. The location here is absolutely unbeatable. It’s right next to the Nile River, and you can walk to the Luxor Temple in just a few minutes. What’s more, there’s a police station and a big supermarket nearby, so you never have to worry about safety, and grabbing drinking water, snacks or any travel essentials is convenient. The guesthouse is tucked away in a quiet little alley, the one with the WE store – just follow your GPS and you won’t get lost at all. If you do happen to lose your way though, just give the host a call, and before you know it, you’ll see some adorable little figures bouncing over to pick you up. The rooms are spacious, clean, and fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Every morning, the host whips up a hearty, delicious breakfast, paired with a cup of authentic Egyptian tea to kick off your day with full energy. The lady of the house is an amazing cook – you definitely have to try her food if you get the chance! But what really won our hearts was the Ahmed family’s warmth and friendliness. The handsome eldest son would offer to help us plan our itineraries, the cute little youngest son was always chasing us around to share his toys, and the lively twin sisters loved telling us all sorts of fun stories. Every night after a long day of sightseeing, we’d sit together and chat in that cozy, homely courtyard. It felt just like coming home – warm and comfortable. Those three days flew by in a flash, but the warmth of the Ahmed family left a deep, lasting impression on us. If we ever come back to Luxor, this place will definitely be our first and only choice! • Preethi (8/5): Warm and welcoming guest house - The guesthouse is run by a arm and a welcoming family, who were kind and nice in all the interactions. The house itself was big , nice and comfortable- I was travelling solo . It has all the basic amenities I wish the bathrooms had been cleaner, even though the toilet and the bathroom was technically clean- the drains were untouched, collected with hair and dirt from what looked like months of not cleaning it, it had a dirty buildup - that for me was disgusting. Everytime I showered it made a poool of water . Apart from that the water pressure is bad - so I asked for a bucket and jug to take matters into hand.

Hosts offered taxi service to get to the main historical attractions as well to the airport. Very useful feature there. Very clean apartment. Good breakfast.
• Virginia (10/5): - If you want to feel at home, this is the right place. The flat was comfortable, offering a lot of space. Ahmad’s family will make you feel so welcome, it will be difficult to say bye. Breakfast was very good, made by amazing Sabrin, she was so nice she offered us tea (very tasty) all the time. Ahmad was amazing, we trusted him completely with our trip. He organised for us a trip all around Luxor (Valley of the Kings, Memnone Colossus, Hascheputs, Medinat Habu, Alabaster Market, Karnak Temple) better than the ones you see in other companies and for a very convenient price. We thank Karim, our amazing driver who had a lot of patience with us and made the day trip go smooth. Ahmad also helped us also with our transports, from the airport and also going to Aswan. Don’t hesitate to ask him cause he is very kind, amicable and helpful. Last but not least, we want to thank Mahmoud, best guide in town who listened to our requests very carefully and was able to make everything we wanted and more, possible. We thank all the family for the hospitality, and send a big hug to everyone (especially to the fashion girls twins and the lively Umar)!

• aritz.g (1/5): si eres turista ni se te ocurra quedarte aquí - no hubo contacto por parte del dueño del apartamento para el check in, tuve que escribir yo para saber dónde estaba el apartamento y cómo poder hacer el check in. Al llegar, no había nadie y tampoco sabía qué puerta era porque no me lo dijeron en ningún momento. Tuve que esperar en la calle, la cual está apartada del centro y llena de basura, hasta que me contestaron al mensaje y me abrieron la puerta. El apartamento está que se cae... todo roto y solo funciona un aire acondicionado de los dos que hay, por lo que solo hay aire frío en el dormitorio. La cocina es simplemente un microondas y una placa eléctrica que parece que está rota. Los enchufes dan miedo usarlos porque parece que te va a dar una descarga eléctrica cuando metes algo. Supongo que será un apartamento estándar para alguien de allí, pero si eres turista ni se te ocurra alquilar este apartamento.

• Shun (10/5): Nice and quiet apartment in the center of the city - The taxi service and the host were on time and very available. The house is spacious and clean, everything is functional (Wifi, hot water, washing machine, fridge, air-con, comfy bed).
• Rosa (10/5): Wonderful family run apartment in Luxor - First the location: it's around the corner from supermarkets, a restaurant and not too far walking from the Nile promenade. Also the street is guarded by a police checkpoint so it's very safe and the people of the neighborhood are kind and helpful. Secondly the apartment was very clean and spacious and the beds were very comfortable with air conditioning and fan to choose from. The kitchen had everything necessary and it had also a dinner table. The bathroom (also spotless) was very big, with good shower pressure and hot water + the towels were of good quality. Thirdly the food for breakfast was good and if you like Sabrina will cook an affordable lunch or dinner: it was a very nice traditional homemade meal worth trying. Last and most importantly the whole family were good hard working delightful people who treated me extremely well and got me excellent prices for the hot air balloon, the papyrus as well as the motorized faluca (sailing wasn't possible due to the lack of wind) at sunset which was wonderful. It was fun to share with the girls and Omar but specially with Sabrina from girl to girl. Everything was superb

When you sit in their house and chat with them over a cup of tea, it is very much like going to your relatives' house for the night. I mean, it's good. It makes you feel intimate in a foreign country. They offer high quality and affordable services such as boat rentals, taxis and dinners. The apartment is large and clean. There are supermarkets, cafes and restaurants nearby. Luxor Temple is a 10-minute walk away.

They arranged the taxi to go to the airport even though it was early in the morning. ▶Room&Facility: Huge apartment for a couple. It's well facilitated. Hot water works fine. ▶Breakfast: It is very good. Even though we left early in the morning to leave for the airport, the owner offered breakfast. We appreciate it a lot. ▶Location: You can walk to the luxort temple. It is also nice to feel the local atmosphere around the apartment.
• Rodrigo (7/5): Good - The flat is close to shops, restaurants, cafes and markets. All within walking distance. It does not have heating so it can get pretty cold at night.
• Hu (10/5): Exceptional - This property is perfect and I am glad that I book this one so I got to know Mahamoud and his family. They treat me so nice with a very very good breakfast. The mom and her children were so nice and we had great conversation. The room is clean, warm and have all the equipments for living. And Mahamoud’s father also offers flyer at price for boat on Nile and a-whole-day rent for car in Luxor. It was a great experience and I strongly recommend you to book it;)
• Usman (10/5): Exceptional - The host lives next door so was always available whenever we needed something. Location was good as it was little further from the noisy areas. It was close to the areas where locals shop so no need to haggle there as it's fixed price there. The apartment co es with a living room, kitchen , toilet and bedroom.
