- Tamás (6/5): - Nice location, and nice clean room. Unfortunately on check-out day you are not eligible to use the SPA and Wellness services. Good to know, so if there is another hotel that provides SPA and Wellness during your whole stay, then choose rather that one. Regarding breakfast, if you like to wake up and have a breakfast early, then forget scrambled eggs and such tasty things, because it was not ready yet, not one day. And the waitress was barely speaking german/english, when we wanted to ask about scrambled eggs, or boiled eggs. We were not sure she understood us.

- Bella (10/5): Beautiful Family owned hotel in the picturesque town. - We were positively surprised by how lovely this hotel is. The location is perfect, the facilities and staff are incredible. Small details matter, like the shuttle to the train station, little welcome sweets in the room, coffee machine, and nice bathrobes. Breakfast was delicious, and the bar was really great with a great vibe. I hope to go back soon. N/A

The rooms were comfortable and spotless, and the attention to detail really shows. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and service-minded, always making sure guests felt well taken care of. With its great location and inviting ambiance, it is a fantastic choice for anyone visiting Pontresina. Highly recommended!

- Georgina (10/5): A real Gem of a hotel in a beautiful town - The staff were amazing and went out of their way to respond to questions and help us out. The rooms were really comfortable and had excellent bathrooms. They had emailed us before to find out the configuration of the rooms so it was great to find that our kids had a twin bedroom and not a double that often happens. You get a pass for the local transport with the hotel which was fantastic so we could travel around on the buses for free. The breakfast was delicious with lots of options for us to choose from. The hotel has access via its own underground tunnel to the local swimming pool with a fantastic outside heated pool. It wasn't too busy when we were there and a real treat for us and our daughter. They even arranged a free shuttle bus to the station on our last day which was brilliant. Nothing

- Laura (8/5): Sophisticated Pontresina Stay - The hotel is modern and has an upscale ambience. Nice selection at breakfast, friendly and helpful staff at reception. Pontresina is small, so very easy to get around from the hotel. The pillows were the thinnest pillows I have ever had at a hotel. The mattresses were okay, but very very firm - just a heads up for anyone who prefers a softer landing.

Certain staff at breakfast were particular (arrogance, doing a character after a request). This was later apologized for by restaurant manager and my wife got her decaf cappuccino as requested. For restaurant one needs to go to main street (2-5 mins. walk)

- Vani (1/5): Worst hotel ever - The staff was rude.. Charged an additional 83 and 74 chf per day for 2 kids under 9 and 11. They called the police when we wanted to pay 50 chf each as per what was mentioned in the booking.com booking confirmation and refused to realize our bags. Also making insulting and racist comments saying they would not confirm bookings by a certain race of people again !!!! Once the police came they also agreed with us and said it was a civil matter and they could not be involved. The front desk receptionist was outrageous, loud and totally inhospitable. It is the worst stay we have ever had ever inspite of spending almost 1100 dollars a night for 3 rooms for a 3 star hotel.

We didn’t realize that the restaurants in Pontresina require reservations and are usually fully booked. We would not have had dinner otherwise.

- Chyrelle (8/5): A lovely hotel - The breakfast was wonderful. The room was very nice. The hotel is lovely. The staff were very helpful. My husband made use of the laundry facilities. I think this was the only hotel we stayed in (and there were several) that had a washer and dryer. The only downside was the walk from the train station to the hotel. It was uphill, which was somewhat difficult for older folks with heavy suitcases. We should have gotten a taxi or let them know to pick us up. They very helpfully dropped us off at the end of our stay.

Heated outdoor pool with fantastic mountain view was also great. Nothing much to report. A small fridge for milk and wine would have been really useful.

- Nancy (10/5): Exceptional - Everything! Friendly, very welcoming and helpful manager and staff. Pontresina was a very clean alpine city with full flower boxes everywhere - so lovely! Good dining options and lots of activities nearby. Uphill hike from train station - though a longer, less steep option was available. Taking the bus to Pontresina Post (as was suggested to us by the manager) was a great alternative for our arrival with baggage.
