Guest Reviews
- Wiktoria (10/5): Perfect - Gorgeous location and stunning property never stayed in anything like this before I was more aware that it was gonna be a hot tub but it was more of a bath however still gorgeous
- Lewis (10/5): Outstanding!!! - The preparation for setting up the room before we got there for my Mrs birthday is unmatched! You’ll never find a place better than this the views are crazy and the people who you talk to before arriving are so nice and helpful! Definitely be going again and 1000% recommend!!! Nothing to dislike at all!!
- Sarah (9/5): Relaxing, tranquil stay with a touch of luxury. - Beautiful location, extremely comfy bed and the bath on the balcony was beautiful. It was disappointing to find when we arrived that someone had parked in our allocated space.
- Clare (10/5): An amazing stay from start to finish. Beautiful lodge with stunning views from the second you open your eyes. - Stunning location, quiet and peaceful.
The lodge looked amazing from the outside and was amazing inside too. Modern, clean and everything you need for a short stay. The fact it was pet friendly was amazing for us too! The welcome pack was generous and a lovely touch! The balcony was gorgeous and the hot tub was a perfect touch, perfect for relaxing and taking in the sounds of the forest. The staff we met during our stay were all great, so friendly and helpful. Nothing negative to say at all for our stay, was perfect!

- Nick (6/5): Nice place, but the cleaning is lacking, no information pack about anything, - Nice and modern and quiet You could smell the drains really bad from the bathroom around the lodge, we arrived the dishwasher was on with nothing in it, and the cups in the cupboard were dirty and not even been cleaned, the hot tub was dirty too,
- harley (10/5): Lovley! - Great lodge and location
Very modern and cosy No oven or toaster which wasn’t ideal
Check in and out times were not the best
4pm check in 10am check out which I didn’t know until after booking
- caitlin (8/5): glorified bath tub - Everything but the glorified bath tub Glorified bath tub but described as a hot tub
- G (10/5): -
- Jones (7/5): -

- Joe (7/5): Love it here - The peacefulness and the hot tub Television in different room so had to move couch..was unable to check in when we arrived due to email not being received, hot tub being cold on first night, not very private as had people walking along path
- Katie (10/5): Absolutely amazing - Absolutely everything! The most beautiful place… so relaxing and peaceful We loved it all

- Lydia (5/5): Overall a lovely stay due to location however, the uncleanliness affected the stay. - Great location Upon arrival I went into the cupboards to get a drinking glass however almost all of them had lipstick stains on them. This is extremely disappointing to say the least, especially spending almost £300 I’d expect clean glassware. This is a hygiene concern and I could have caught bugs/infections from this. Not only the glassware but the table in the living area was sticky with drink residue. Again, for the money paid, this is unacceptable. I would expect some compensation for this uncleanliness.

- Muhammad (8/5): - The location, the jacuzzi The bedding had stains on it and small hair, they should have had a small table inside to eat on as cold to use the outdoor one, from carpark to lodge the should have lights as too dark to see as the small torch didnt help or provide with a better torch as we had to use our phone torch which dont help, also pointless to have a tv when you cant use netflix and only can use youtube or pay to watch what on there.
- Jessie (9/5): Loved it! Will be back. - Excellent location, a short drive from Betws y Coed. Really peaceful space and the hot tub and views were amazing. It was clean, warm and comfortable.
- Be (5/5): Overpriced - Location Lack off Space, bad workmanship, stench coming from waste pipes floor not properly laid
- Helen (9/5): A lively quiet break - Lovely location, perfect for a few nights away. We also benefited from the park being closed for two days so very peaceful. Even the weather was kind! The cupboard door fell off as soon as we arrived!! However, the staff ensured it was fixed immediately so no big drama

- Katie (10/5): Lovely. Fantastic place to stay with lots of towns on the doorstep. - Lovely cabin with great views and amenities. The hot tub was fabulous, easy to use and very clean. Free parking which is always a bonus. Very tranquil at night. Lots of places to visit nearby. We stayed in the first cabin which is a little too close to the zip wire attraction and overlooked by one of the activities. On the smaller side with limited cupboard and surface space - you would struggle to do fully self catered but okay for breakfast and snacks.
- Faith (7/5): Great location and views but cramped - The location was excellent, the view from the rooms and decking was amazing. Once zipworld has closed the area is very peaceful with the birds singing, the location was very private and seemed quite secluded even if it is still close to everything which is great. We read reviews in advance and expected the small size but still decided to go ahead due to the location and views and we are still glad we booked despite the areas of concern listed below The cabin is very small, the width of the decking is wider than the width of the inside of the cabin. This could be better manageable if there was smarter use of the space, I have no idea how a family of 4 are meant to fit in here. Most of the kitchen cabinets are consumed by electrical boxes so you end up with nowhere to put any food. The shelves that are usable are consumed by the plates mugs and glasses provided. The cabinets has a kettle, a microwave and 2 induction hobs with a small frying pan and a small saucepan. It would be really useful to have a toaster fitted but there is nowhere to put it in the kitchen area. We ended up using the shelving in the children’s room to store food. The living area light is connected to the children’s bedroom so you can only have both off or on at the same time. The tv is in the children’s bedroom and there is no seating area in the living room to eat, luckily it was fairly dry for the majority of our stay so we could sit and eat on the dining table outside. The plug socket outside the bathroom didn’t work and there were no blinds fitted to the living room meaning you are constantly on show in that area. The decking is by far the nicest part of the lodge, unfortunately one of the pumps on the hot tub didn’t work so although it was warm you would only get a decent jet from one area of the tub. The staff came and filled the hot tub up to the right level on our second day so the pumps started working (they were not working at all on our first night) alas the one side of the tub seemed to remain faulty. The master bedroom was the best laid out room as it had sufficient storage and a floor to ceiling blind however there is a consistent pump running- I’m not sure if it’s for the hot water for the cabin or the hot tub but it can get irritating. There are signs to state that we were expected to recycle but there was only a general waste bin in the cabin and in the outside waste area, no recycling bags or bins to use despite the...
- Curson (9/5): Superb - Location. Hot tub No step into hot tub
- Richard (9/5): Weekend break - Lovely location
Lodge was lovely
Comfortable bed
Kitchen could do with a oven Kitchen could do with a oven
- Katrina (9/5): Would highly recommended what a beautiful place to stay! - *This was a stunning place to stay!!
*Short drive to the town centre, lots of places to eat & shop.
*The hot tub was amazing.
* Really enjoyed the Forest coaster on sight.
* Fantastic that they are dog friendly. -Didn't like the hills we had to carry all our bags up
-Didn’t like the heating, it’s was just plug in electrical heaters.
(Just to note other lodge’s are currently being built so we had a little noise and our water turned off for a short period of time)
- Thea (10/5): We would definitely love to come back - Beautiful surroundings, clean, chilled and easy to get to Betws-y-coed for something to eat. Nothing
- Catherine (10/5): Cozy, Modern and exciting - The location was fantastic the accommodation was fantastic, microwave didn’t work but that’s okay - hot tub was brilliant 10/10 Nothing it was fantastic
- Nelly (10/5): Exceptional -
- Daniel (5/5): Passable - The setting and view was 10/10 with the bed being comfy and not to far away from the nearest town. What a lovely area of Wales The cleanliness of the place.
The work surfaces were sticky the hob wasn't clean with the mugs having a strong smell of coffee and the door to the balcony had massive hand prints all over the glass, which put us off straight away to the point I had to wipe them down. Also the outside balcony had to be swept when we arrived and table cleaned off, I took in to consideration that this is outside, but if this was given a once over a day before we arrived this would surely of been spotted.
ABIT more thought in the place could make this an experience to remember and for people to return.
- George (8/5): Very good -
- Dylan (10/5): Incredible stay, would reccomend for a private getaway. - Property was in a idilic location facing the mountains, beautiful views and you can see the lambs on the other side of the valley. Even though you are close to the site it does feel very private and hidden away.
Because of this, you do have a bit of a walk to the lodges, but this is made easier to do with the trolley provided.
Really was accommodating, good size for the two of us and the hot tub keeps warm even with the lid off.
Bathroom and bedrooms are a fairly good size.
The TV provides some good access to streaming services (provided that you sign in) and if you’re not watching sunrise, sunset or views through the panoramic windows.
The staff were lovely and assisted in helping make my proposal to my fiancée a success and made sure the property was enhanced for the occasion. One thing to note is there is no oven, so If you plan on making meals, bring some oil for the frying pan.
There was some construction being done on site to two new residency’s, however this didn’t affect us being in the lodge furthest away. However I could imagine this might’ve been a different experience if we were closer.
The final thing is that there aren’t any instructions on how to dispose of the bin whilst on site, we stayed for 5 days and as you can imagine the bin became quite full.
I will say this was the best experience we’ve had in something like this, and these small things didn’t really matter, it was beautiful, the weather held out and we had an amazing time. Would recommend.
- Stevie (9/5): Perfect weekend getaway to disconnect - Stunning cabin, felt like being in a treehouse, secluded and peaceful Hot water ran out very quickly, welcome pack/emails missing details, e.g how to get back into the car park once closed and how to check out
- Laura (9/5): Beautiful but spoilt by workman right outside our lodge. - The property itself was beautiful.
Comfy and cosy.
The hot tub was perfect The property itself was beautiful.
We were woken up by workman for 3 days while we stayed there. Drilling and music.
I would have appreciated a message telling us there was work going on.
- Gemma (10/5): Loved everything - Loved the property, hottub was amazing with the views of forest. Would have been amazing for the hottub to be organised to be at reached temperature for arrival , was warned just would be a nice bonus to enjoyed from very start
- Magdalena (7/5): Beautiful location , fabulous time in the hot tub after long walk … - Location , location and a Hot tub !!!
Welcome pack (crisps and some cookies), milk in the fridge -nice touch ! Cabin could be design better . It’s a lot of space on the terrace but not enough inside…
Dining table is outside , not possible to use it when it’s raining.
There is nowhere to dry your wet clothes after a rainy day…
Bed - big enough for 2 but mattress way to soft , but this is personal preference
- Lewis (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely location hot tub is insane The fan that constantly runs that’s under the main double bed couldn’t understand why there is a extractor fan under the bed
Also bedroom door screwed open not sure why
- Charles (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tao (8/5): Great stay for couples or families, lots to do and lovely places to eat nearby - Great location, lots to do and lots of little cafes and places to eat nearby too. They even made the bed with heart shaped towels and petals which was cute! Nothing in particular, lovely stay.
- Emily (10/5): The perfect getaway - Spacious and lovely decking area. The forest was lovely and quiet and the interior of the lodge was perfect, the design was beautiful and it was exceptionally clean. There was nothing I didn’t like.
- Kelsey (9/5): Superb -
- Linzi (7/5): Good -
- Howard (7/5): Lovely for a short break for two but not suitable for a longer stay. A very tight fit for a family. - Location is fantastic, and the bed was really comfortable. Hot tub took about 12hrs to heat up but was brilliant for relaxing after a day's walking. Kitchenette only has 2 induction hobs and no toaster or microwave so, whilst functional, not really adequate for a self catering break.
Path to cabin from car park is less a gentle forest stroll and more a 100m trek up a steep path. Not the easiest when pulling a fully laden trolley.
- Daniel (1/5): Closed when arrived - The lodges were closed when we arrived, were put up in a hotel for one night, could find suitable accommodation for the second light so returned home.
Host tried to help, however having booked a hot tub lodge for new year, and bought all food etc. for our stay, was throughly disappointed.
