Guest Reviews
- Samantha (10/5): - The place instantly felt like home
- Bev (9/5): -
- Mathewson (8/5): - Well appointed cottage. Three bedrooms with large beds each plus reverse cycle air-conditioning. Small lounge area but separate dining room. We walked to the Farmer's Arms just across the road. We enjoyed our stay very much. Living room was a little small but hey, it is a cottage after all!
- Bridget (4/5): Deceiving photos. House is on a parking lot linked to motel and on the corner of main intersection. NOISY NOISY NOISY. - The interior was beautifully appointed. Bedrooms clean and tidy, Temperature control was excellent. I felt deceived by the photos.
1. The house is on a parking lot connected to a motel.
2. The outside sofa appears to be a lovely space to gather and relax. No, it is literally 2-3 meters from a big brown fence that borders a car park.
3. Inside, the living area sofa backs onto a window that is 1.5-2 meters from the entrance of several motel rooms so people are constantly walking by your window.
4. The house is literally on the corner of a main road roundabout (intersection of all roads leading into the Main Street of Daylesford) Car and truck noise constantly, expect to be woken up by trucks. Nothing like we had anticipated for a stay in Daylesford. Car park, main road, linked to a budget motel.
- Dianne (10/5): - Great location and wonderful facilities
- Kerry-Anne (8/5): We enjoyed our stay; it was very cosy and the bedrooms were very comfortable and luxurious - The front part of the house was lovely…and luxurious.
Location was great. The outdoor lounges could have been cleaned as they had cobwebs and dead leaves on them…and some of the cushion covers were mouldy.

- ann-marree (10/5): Comfortable bed, close by to everything. - Cottage was nice and cosy N/A
- Breanna (7/5): - Straight forward instructions and easy to locate lock box Everything was great but the wifi barely worked and at times wasn’t connecting at all.
- Sharon (10/5): A stunning place to stay, so warm and comfortable will definitely stay again - It was stunning. It was such a beautiful cottage. It has been renovated with care and respect I was happy with it all
- Lucy (8/5): - Bedrooms lovely. Beds comfortable. Good heating. No cooktop or oven. Kitchen set up poor.
- Roshan (9/5): Superb -
- John (10/5): Exceptional -
- Elizabeth (10/5): Exceptional -
- Revere (8/5): Very good -
- Adrian (10/5): Comfortable stay, great location, great facilities - The property is well located and it’s spacious and comfortable. We stayed as a group of 5 and loved it. We really liked the bathroom layout - it is 1 “bathroom” but really functions as more, with 2 seperate toilet stalls and a shower stall and double sink - which allowed people to use the sink and mirrors to get ready while another person showered. Perfect for large groups! The chips and chocolates were a great touch as well. Nil
- Julie (8/5): Very good -
- Kirsty (10/5): Fabulous location beautiful house, highly recommend -
- Emily (9/5): Superb -
- Dianne (10/5): Exceptional - Beautifully appointed !
- Julian (10/5): Perfect group weekend stay in a heritage home - This property was absolutely perfect for our girls weekend. It easily fit 4 x us and could fit an extra with very generous bedrooms, bathroom and living area. The location was great, just a tiny bit out of the hustle and bustle of the main drag and a 4 min cab ride to the Lakehouse. Nothing at all.
- Julie (8/5): Well worth a visit to this pretty cottage. - The beds in the property were great. Where the property was situated was in easy walking distance the the centre of town. The undercover outdoor area was pretty grubby. We could not use it as there were leaves and dirt all over the outdoor furniture and the cushions had been left in the weather causing mildew to grow.
- Jane (10/5): Exceptional - Charming quant cottage in great location.
- Paul (6/5): Ok - Earlier check in, Couldn't check in until after 3.30-4.00
- Philip (7/5): Good -
- Christine (8/5): Lovely overnight stay but did need car to drive to town. - Lovely property well renovated 😀 Only suggestion was needed mirror in bedrooms for getting ready, as 4 sharing one bathroom was a little time consuming a mirror in the bedroom would assist the girls doing makeup 😃
- Tanya (7/5): Ok but wouldn’t recommend - The beds were comfortable, the bathroom set-up was really practical The TV remote didn’t work. There is no smart tv. The back outdoor seating area was very dirty, needs to be swept, dust all over seats and tables
- Emma (10/5): Exceptional - Beds were super comfortable. No issues
- Penny (10/5): Exceptional -
- Georgina (6/5): Pleasant -
- Line (8/5): great place to stay as a group. comfy beds and across the road from the best food in Daylesford. - spacious and clean - Great for a group perhaps a little expensive, but it was peak time I guess
- Rani (9/5): Superb - The design and deco was really beautiful and lovely. Bed is really comfortable.Love the living area, friends can sit and chat for a long time. price for the place was a little high.
