• James (7/5): Could be improved. - The Châtelard stay I rate highly for the ambience of a 15 century Castle, the panorama of the lake, mountains and Montreux below. It’s an easy walk down to the Montreux promenade; if the climb back up is too much there is a train on the hour that stops 500 metres from the Castle. The Juliette (studio) apartment appears larger than the 50m2 advertised. Parking ample for the number of apartments. Last week of April temperatures & weather were ideal, the rooms warm and could be heated if required. A fan was quickly supplied on request to cater for a hot day. Although staff appear to be on site everything is processed through email or messages on booking dot com. Negatives are few. We had to sweep the cobwebs from behind the bed headboard, and yes expect a few insects, after all, we are surrounded by tree’s and vegetation. Speaking of which, nature has taken hold of a number of footpath and steps; the grandeur of the façade not as pristine as the website photos indicate due to nature’s plant growth and fallout, which if was groomed and kept on top of would have brought it up a little in the ratings.

• Moncef (9/5): - If you’re travelling by car, this is the place for you – it’s in a great location, right off the motorway. My daughter felt like a princess within the walls of this place, especially thanks to the beauty of the terrace and the view. Once you’ve seen the terrace, you’d hardlyneed to visit the surrounding area – you wouldn’t find a more beautiful view. There are a few minor issues, such as some details regarding cleanliness and dust, but I can understand that the place is very difficult to manage, both due to the type of venue and its size. However, the value for money is unbeatable. I will definitely return and recommend it to friends and family – not to be missed.

• Hicham (1/5): - Cet appartement est terrifiant, l'endroit est bien plus dangereux, le mobilier est vétuste et crasseux, et tout l'immeuble est sale, poussiéreux et effrayant. Mes enfants ont eu peur de cet endroit. J'y suis entrée moi-même et j'ai pris la fuite aussitôt, annulant cette réservation désastreuse. • James (10/5): Lovely Chateau apartment - Bright, comfortable, roomy apartment, large kitchen, large bathroom, well appointed. Gorgeous view from Chateau terrace. Public transport is a short walk away. Our favorite place to stay in Montreux/Clarens!

• Shirley (8/5): Very nice apartment for a reasonable price. Very close to the market place of montreux - Beautiful view, very nice furniture. Overall a very cozy apartment The fridge wasn’t cleaned properly and the couch was quite hard. It hurt a little to sleep on it

• Sophie (10/5): The perfect castle stay! - The apartment is incredible, can highly recommend staying here! The appartment is renovated gorgeously whilst having all amenities you could wish for, fully equipped kitchen, modern bathroom and beautiful living and bedroom. The check-in and check-out was very straightforward as I was giving clear instructions and in general the host replied very fast about any enquiries we had through Whatsapp. For example, as we had rented multiple apartments within the castle with our group, the host very kindly offered us to use the BBQ on site to have an outdoor dinner in the courtyard. Moreover, They have created some beautiful seating areas at the front of the castle to enjoy the view of the vineyard and Montreux. It was a perfect castle stay experience!
