• frederic (10/5): Beaux paysages, bonne nourriture et incroyable accueil ! - Très bel appartement situé au milieu d’un magnifique jardin entretenu avec beaucoup de soins. Tout est au top : la propreté du logement, la décoration des pièces, les équipements, l’espace, la piscine… Le petit chat Creta jamais bien loin pour réclamer des caresses ;-) Un immense merci au propriétaire Nectarios pour son incroyable gentillesse et sa générosité. Nous avons vu beaucoup d’hôtels et je pense que nous n’avons jamais connu un meilleur accueil. Nous avons beaucoup aimé la salade grecque et surtout le délicieux yaourt le matin !! Les conseils de visite de Nectarios nous ont permis de passer un merveilleux séjour… Bien trop court ! La région est si belle j’espère que nous pourrons revenir plus longtemps. • Τατιάνα (10/5): - I absolutely fell in love with Nectar Luxury Apartment, it truly felt like stepping into a fairytale. The garden is beyond imagination, so beautifully designed and full of charm. I was impressed by the hidden hammocks and swings, which gives you peaceful moments of relaxation. Morning was simply magical with fresh yogurt and a strong coffee in the shade of a lush ficus. Every detail created such a warm atmosphere. The host is warm, easygoing, and very welcoming, like an old friend you’re happy to visit. This place has captured my heart, and I will definitely be coming back again.

• Maximilian (10/5): - The stay was fantastic. Unfortunately, far too short; you should definitely stay at least a week. The apartment is lovely, and the grounds with the pool and garden are amazing. Nectarios is a top-notch host, and you feel comfortable with him from the very first moment. We arrived very late because we had problems with our rental car, and we were immediately greeted with a delicious Greek salad made with vegetables from his own garden. In the morning, there was yogurt with fresh fruit... now that's what I call a vacation! Nectarios also has lots of helpful tips about the area, from beaches and hikes to restaurants. We'll definitely be back, and hopefully for longer next time! Thank you for the wonderful experience, Nectarios! Nothing- it was perfect!

Nektarios was fantastic, he offered us an amazing Cretan freshly made salad as soon as we arrived after an 8 hours trip by boat and wonderful healthy breakfast with greek yogurt, fruits, honey and walnuts. He even provided us help to fix our flat tire. Amazing place, amazing guy, wonderful landscape and great job in the garden by Nektarios and perfectly clean and clear swimming pool. Thank you for Everything Nektarios! We do recommend it for family and friends who want to have some days of relaxation together. We wanted to be able to stay longer but could not due to work constraints and kids' schools. However, we really want to come back. Perhaps next year we will manage to stay longer. Thank you once more Nektarios!

• MARTIN (10/5): Nectar Luxury Apartments - ein Paradies! - Wir haben ein Paradies gefunden! Die Anlage ist ein Traum und der Pool/Garten sauber und geschmackvoll hergerichtet. Nectarius hat uns auch spät Abends noch herzlich empfangen und hat sich den ganzen Aufenthalt liebevoll um uns gekümmert. Die Wohnung war schön ausgestattet und hatte sehr viele liebevolle Details. Jeden Tag bekamen wir einen frischen Jogurt mit Früchten und Nüssen und auch mal einen leckeren Salat am Pool. So etwas haben wir noch auf keiner unserer Reisen erlebt. Nectarius ist ein wunderbarer Gastgeber, der uns zu einem Freund geworden ist. Während unseres 2 wöchigen Aufenthalts hat sich der Name von Oceanides Luxury Apartments zu Nectar Luxury Apartments geändert. Wir wünschen Nectarius alles Gute und wir sehen uns sicher im nächsten Jahr wieder! Nichts!

This place is truly magical: the atmosphere, the fairytale garden, the cozy apartments, and of course, Nektarios himself. In just a short time, he became a good friend, and I felt like I was not on simply holidays in some apartments, but it was like I visiting a friend’s home. • Petr (10/5): There is nothing better than 10 stars for the hotel and the owner, Nektarius. - At first we were disappointed in general, before we entered the hotel (far from the sea, behind the road). But then everything changed. A luxurious hotel, garden, pool and service from Nektarios (the owner). We got the best salad in the world I have ever eaten as a welcome, every morning cups of fruit of outstanding taste. We have never experienced such care from the hotel owner (!). An invitation to dinner in a non-touristy typical restaurant, the next day a trip to the mountains for a private party in the middle of nowhere! Nektarios showed us all the interesting places to go. He recommended the palm beach of Vai (the best of all, although there were a lot of tourists, but it was possible, you can climb over the rock and you are alone) and the deserted ones. So swimming in the sea was good in the end. It was an experience like staying with a friend, a friend who loves you. And we thank him (his wife and others) very much for these three days in his beautiful hotel. Thanks to the wonderful hotel and host, you will soon forget that it is located behind the road and you will not only go to Palm Beach, because finding accommodation on the beach in this part is practically impossible.

Die Anlage ist ein Traum – geschmackvoll eingerichtet, super gepflegt und mit einem wunderschönen Garten sowie einer tollen Poolanlage, die zum Entspannen einlädt. Ein besonderes Highlight ist aber definitiv Nectarios, der Besitzer. Er ist ein unglaublich herzlicher Gastgeber, der sich wirklich Zeit für seine Gäste nimmt. Egal ob Tipps für Ausflüge, Restaurantempfehlungen oder einfach ein nettes Gespräch – man merkt, dass es ihm wichtig ist, dass sich jeder rundum wohlfühlt. Ma chambre, avec sa vue imprenable sur la mer, était d'une propreté impeccable et d'une luminosité revigorante. L'environnement est un véritable enchantement : le jardin est magnifique et la piscine, un petit bijou de tranquillité. J'ai été accueillie chaleureusement, et j'ai même eu le plaisir d'être saluée par Kreta, le chat, une petite touche d'hospitalité féline que j'ai beaucoup appréciée ! L'emplacement est parfait, à quelques minutes de la ville et à deux pas pour une baignade cette fois plus salée. Un séjour mémorable à tous points de vue. Tout était parfait ! Nectarios, the owner, made us feel at home and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. He even prepared fresh yoghurt with fruit every morning for our baby, which she loved! The apartment was spotless, spacious, and well-equipped, and the pool (with a baby section) was perfect for families. We also felt very welcome meeting Nectarios’ lovely family. Highly recommended!
• John (10/5): My paradise. - Amazing facilities. Very luxurious place. The host, Mr. Nektarios has raised service to a new level. It's not just the luxurious and spacious bungalows. They are smartly arranged around a large swimming pool. Adorned with trees and greenery, it's like you're in a small paradise. We were very well taken care of. Absolutely will be going back next year. I have found my shangrla. Bravo to the staff and management.

• Guy (10/5): one of the best places we ever stayed in around the world - thanks ! - 10 is not enough . beautiful setting . the garden the pool and buildings - look like a museum . tons of thought brought into every detail and corner of the pool and garden . rooms are excellent , never met a place we had everything needed in room and kitchen - every detail or instrument you can think of - is in its place . above all - the host . upgraded our vacation from very good to exceptional : hospitality way beyond usual . wine , Greek salad here and there , and most of all : best advises - where to go , which restaurant to visit , which beach to go to etc. planed our whole vacation . ( air condition in one room stopped working , we didnt care much so didn't inform , he noticed by himself , and had it replaced to a new one on same day . ) . will come back for sure , and hopefully - sooner than later :) .

What truly the experience unforgettable was the incredible care and hospitality of the owner, Nectarios. • Karen (10/5): Wonderful hospitality, beautiful and spotlessly clean facilities; sad to leave! - We had a wonderful few days at Oceanides Luxury Apartments. Our host, Nectarios really made the stay very special. He is a fantastic host, offering unique insights into beautiful beaches off the beaten track and great experiences of authentic Crete, (as well as fabulous dining recommendations.) The apartment is spotlessly clean, with bedding and towels changed daily, very quiet/efficient air-conditioning in the bedrooms and super comfy beds. We were travelling with children and had a 2 bedroom apartment overlooking the beautiful gardens and the crystal clear pool. Nectarios arranged for us to use the pool early in the mornings to do some swim training (when it was quiet), then gave us delicious local yoghurt, fruit and nuts to kick start our day. The really tasty local food on arrival was also a welcome bonus after a 3 hour drive from our earlier accommodation on the other side of Crete. The location is close to the pretty but not so touristy town of Sitia with a lovely harbour and lots of great restaurants. The beaches in this part of Crete were very quiet (early July) and absolutely stunning with amazing clear turquoise water. We spent most of our time swimming in the sea, but the mountains are also spectacular. It would be great to go in spring or autumn in cooler temperatures for some hiking too. Overall it was a very special stay and we were sad to leave, big thanks to our amazing host for the warm and genuine hospitality. Everything was great. Good to know- you definitely need a car if you stay here as the best beaches/dining options are not walking distance and this part of Crete has some great locations to explore- including spectacular mountain roads taking you to quiet, unspoilt beaches. (Perhaps busier in August, but I would think it's a quieter part of the island and many parts are UNESCO protected/part of a Geopark.) We stopped at a couple of towns on the way back to the Heraklion airport on our way home and the beaches there were much busier/touristy, so we are so glad we got to see pristine beaches in this part of Crete.

The rooms were large, clean and well equipped. The pool is clean and everything is surrounded by a well kept garden. The property is outside the city - must have a car to stay there.

• Jacques (10/5): True hospitality and comfort - After an eventful (CrowdStrike) journey on Friday, we arrived at Oceanides Luxury Apartments on Saturday afternoon with high expectations for a relaxing week in Sitia. What awaited us, truly blew us away: A peaceful oasis just far away but still close enough to enjoy and to retreat from the best that Lassithi has to offer. Our apartment, unit 4, was spacious and tastefully decorated, the kitchen fully fitted, and the bedrooms were comfortable and cool.. The balcony has a wonderful view of the sea and over Nectarios’ landscaped garden featuring the huge pool - all immaculately maintained and spotlessly clean. But what really sets OLA apart is the friendly, honest and proud attention from our hosts, Nectarios, Kelly and their sons. Not just what, where, who and when information but the lovingly made yogurt with fruits and nuts- breakfast, a glass of wine next to the pool in the late-afternoon, in our case a bottle on the house! Not forgetting the plate of Dakos and olives to accompany the wine. We truly had a wonderful time! Thank you Nectarios, Kelly, Boys and Kreta The Cat. • Nathaniel (10/5): A memorable and thoroughly enjoyable week. - We were met by Nectarios on arrival and instantly started to relax. He made us all feel at home and was a perfect host throughout the week. He was available without being overbearing and made some excellent suggestions for local beaches, restaurants and things to entertain our two children. He also made a breakfast for us every morning and was a constant source of good humour! The apartments are small but very well appointed and the garden and pool make it extremely unlikely anyone would want to spend time inside in any case. Nothing. Nectarios is a consummate host and the property is unique for the eastern region of Crete. I would absolutely look to stay at Oceanides again if we are back in Sitia and Lasithi.

Everything was very clean, the host was fantastic and treated us like family, and the property is only a four-minute drive to downtown Sitia. The host helped us create a plan to see the best local beaches and recommended a wonderful place to have lunch. We even bumped into him again that evening downtown Sitia and he showed us an incredible mom and pop restaurant. I'm looking forward to going back again!

• Ofir (10/5): Cosy, charming and comfortable. Great hospitality - The swimming pool is clean and well taken care of. The garden is well kept, tidy and beautiful. We had a shot but sweet stay here and even though we stayed one night they let us chill by the pool the day after even after check out.

The host, Nectarios, delivers exceptional hospitality. I have never experienced such genuine warmth and willingness to please guests. The accommodation is spotlessly clean. The gardens are beautiful and kept immaculate. The pool area is luxurious with comfortable loungers. You are made to feel welcome instantly upon arrival. • Hugo (10/5): We hadden een fantastische vakantie! - We, family from the Netherlands (boy 13 y and a girl 11 y) booked Oceanides Luxury apartments for one week (22 -29 july 2023 ). From the moment that we arrived we felt very at ease. The owner Nektarios is a born host. He received us with a heartfelt big smile after we drove from the airport in the late evening. Nektarios takes very good care of his guests and makes sure they don’t lack anything. He does take care for his guest from out of his heart. He is also very good with children as a sport teacher at school and as frontman of his family with four sportive boys and his friendly and sympathetic wife Kelly. Nektarios grew up in the Sitia region so he gives very good advice where the nice beaches in the region are, were to hike and what the good taverns and restaurants are for a great lunch or dinner. The children loved especially his cold milk chocolate which he made in the morning. Nektarios made them very happy with these drinks. Our children really wanted to stay longer when our week was over. But regretful we had to leave because we booked another place to visit an other part of Kreta. So we left with some melancholy and reluctance but with great memories! Thanks for the unforgettable week and the great hospitality. All the best and until next time! Nothing!

• Anonymous (10/5): This is the place for you if you want to explore Eastern Crete. Nectarios is a cheat code for what’s best in the area an - Nectarios Nectarios Nectarios…. We’ve stayed in lots of wonderful places but we have never experienced this level of personal service. Nectarios takes care of everything for you. He has all the local knowledge and takes all your needs into consideration when creating a “plan” for your day. Our kids loved it! Total freedom! Immaculate property! Would give it 20 stars if possible! From my wife: Rooms very well equipped, incredibly clean and well ventilated. Garden very safe for children, it looks wonderful. Children can be in close contact with nature. Pool very clean, safe and perfect water temperature. I will miss very much the yogurt with fruit and grains in the morning...wonderful rest.... literally nothing
• Pieter (10/5): Amazing stay at hidden gem in Sitia - We book a lot of holidays through Booking but usually never make a review, we gladly make an exception now. We had an absolute wonderful stay at Oceanides Luxury Apartments! The hospitality of Nektarios and his family is outstanding, the East coast stunningly beautiful, with lots of beautiful bays and beaches, and the food at local restaurants is excellent. From our arrival onwards, Nektarios has been the perfect host and guide, offering us great local wines and every morning preparing wonderful yoghurt with honey and fresh fruit even from his garden. He also recommends us where to go, where to eat etc. He puts a concierge at a 5 star hotel to shame. We are afraid we are spoilt now as we do not think his hospitality can be surpassed. Sitia and surroundings is on-spoilt and you can find tranquility in little bays and beaches. Highly recommended! Nothing we did not like!
