Guest Reviews
- Janet (1/5): We never got to the accommodation as they let us down the day prior to arrival. Cannot comment on th -

- Rapinder (1/5): AVOID AVOID AVOID - This was a shocking experience from start to finish we travelled 3 hours and when we arrived at the apartment we where greeted with builders and a dodgy car park. The entrance was full of rubbish and once in the apartment we had no toiletries the room was on the ground floor and not safe to open the window and the curtain was see through I called the manager and stated my concerns along with the fact that the sofa my ten year old was to sleep on was filthy she apologised and moved us to apartment 3 so we packed and moved next door only to be again we greeted with no toiletries tv not working something the manager was aware of however she assumed it had been fixed. There was a pungent smell in the kitchen upon further investigation we opened the microwave to witness flies crawling over mouldy food how this has not been picked up by the cleaner is shocking. At this point my daughter was extremely upset and wanted to go home I called the manager once again stating my horror at what we had witnessed she apologised and stated this is not acceptable I stated I want a full cancellation and refund as I will be booking elsewhere she suggested I call booking.com once on hold for 30 mins the agent for booking .com stated she needed confirmation from the apartment manager to my shock she came back and said the manager has offered to clean the first flat and offer a 15% discount I was shocked as i have a WhatsApp chat from the manager that I could look to cancel. I advised both parties that if I was offered this free I would still not stay. Since then and numerous call back and forth they agreed to give me a partial refund. This is still not acceptable they ruined our first day of our holiday due to there poor maintenance and as a result the customer is left out of pocket financially as we moved to a new apartment within an hour or so. Not holding my breath that I will get a resolution to my complaint but hope no other family go through what we did.
- Joan (9/5): Relaxing feel like home. Comfy and great. - The host gave clear instructions and was available all time to answer any questions. The rooms are really similar to the pictures. Ample amount of quilts pillow and utensils for cooking. Spacious and well decorated rooms. Well kept, facilities and cleanliness matching to a nice hotel. Host was so kind even allowed us late check out due to our delayed transport. She was quick to respond to any query. Really worth it. My daughter loved the painting and the beautiful tone and atmosphere of the house. I wish there was some channels in tv, even though you could log into the app.Just a suggestion especially when you are traveling with kids and slightly better Internet speed. again these are just my positive suggestions only because rest everything is so good.
- Schultze (5/5): Our stay was ok. - The location is goodgt A lot of fibers from the carpet came off and were lying all over the place. We tried to clean using
the dust pan and a small broom because these fibers made my asthma worse. We contacted the owner to have the floor vacuum cleaned or we will clean the apartment ourselves but they did not lend it to u the vacuum cleaner. It was very warm , there was no air con or even just an elect fan
- Isabella (7/5): Good - The apartment was spacious, and the facilities were good. Yasmin was easily contactable and answered promptly. The walk to the property felt unsafe at times as it is quite out of the way. The apartment was not entirely clean when we arrived, although the host did apologise. Being on the ground floor, we weren’t able to open the windows much as they were widely open to the street outside. There was also a smell of garbage around the apartment, as there was lots of rubbish outside.
- Natalie (9/5): Generally a Great Experience - The apartment itself was lovely, generally very clean & had a nice fragrance. It had great facilities available, including a fridge, kettle, toaster, oven, microwave, cooker, washing machine, ironing board, television & WiFi.
It's near a bus route, so it was very easy to get to & from Cardiff Central.
There were a number of shops very close by - Tesco Express being one of them. Although generally very clean, I found a tuna sandwich & a half-full bottle of soda in the fridge when I arrived.
There were only thin curtains covering the large windows, and as I was on the bottom floor, I would have easily been seen by passers-by had I drawn back the curtains to let the daylight in.
Also, there were no toilet rolls or soap. Fortunately, I always come prepared.
The alleyway leading to the apartments feels a little unsafe when walking at night, especially as the lights are motion-sensored and turn off after a short while.
- Sarah (10/5): Wonderful stay - Very clean, easy to get to and free parking. Comfortable bed, lovely big shower, just a home away from home.
- Lindsay (8/5): Very good - Location was ideal however the drive into the property could be improved as lots of potholes. Very clean and smelt lovely. Facilities in the apartment were spot on. Curtains not suitable- very thin and didn’t give any privacy, didn’t feel comfortable sitting in living room with the light on or getting changed in the bedroom.
- Michael (3/5): Good location to visit students and good host but very poorly built and needs some things sorted. - it was a good location and was a new build. Yasmin was very quick to respond to any questions - the build quality on the place was very low.
- the walls were paper thin, people in to corridor talking sounded like they were in the flat and there was a lot of noise from surrounding apartments.
- the door handles were all loose and wobbly.
- the lock to the bathroom didn't fit properly and was therefore difficult to use.
- the curtains were see through in the lounge and bedroom which gave no privacy given that we were on the ground floor.
- the wifi was shared between several flats so when there was an issue we couldn't sort it.
- the wall clocks in the bedroom and lounge didn't work.
- there was only 1 roll of toilet paper.
- the bathroom fan was very hit and miss, came on with the lights in the middle of the night and ran loudly for ages but wouldn't com on when using the shower in the morning.
- the parking permit had been lost and while Yasmin found us alternative parking it was a 10 minute walk away and really quite irritating as we had chosen this apartment due to the availability of parking.
- no toilet brush
- Mohammed (4/5): Good stay for a weekend but i do not recommend for a long term stay. - Good location, Clean, Nice neighbourhood bad security, No service, Bad wifi connection, Dirty location, Dark outside cant see when you walk at night, No area for deliveries there was a thief stealing peoples orders. windows not safe anyone can easily come inside from windows. no privacy. Walls too shallow and can hear other people from different apartments. Too noisy at night because some throw parties. Ubers don’t arrive at the apartment you have to walk all the way to the street for it to pick you up. too many robberies at the place. Feels unsafe. no door handle from outside. only one set of keys and no spares or extras just in case of emergencies. Shower was always cold and didnt get warm. Curtains were see through anyone was able to look through and had no privacy.
- Melanie (6/5): In the heart of the student zone. - I wanted to stay in the central student area of the city so this flat was exactly where I was looking for. We were not planning to go out of an evening so the small seating area was good for relaxing. We were provided with ample clean, bedding. A reed defuser meant the flat smelled good when we walked in. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The windows to the apartment were badly designed and it was not possible to have a window open if you left the room or at night, for fear someone could easily get in. There was still construction going on, a lift was being installed, this caused dust in the room and debris on the floor, we were not supplied with polish, dusters or a hoover to clean this up. The agent offered no help or assistance when the parking monitor issued us with a parking ticket despite our having the parking notice on the dashboard, we affixed the notice to the windscreen after this and paid up a £60 parking ticket! this made us very unhappy.
- Thiagarajan (8/5): Very good - Good location with plenty of restaurants near by. The road in was uneven. Main bedroom is a small double bed. Sofa bed can hold another. Road into the property is under construction which isn’t their fault.
- Emma (10/5): Exceptional -
- Eleanor (10/5): A lovely apartment - Was a lovely new build, it was clean and comfortable with an excellent kitchen. The owners were very friendly, and we're quick to respond to messages, would definitely stay there again! WiFi was patchy at best, and pretty slow, but still had access to 5G in the area.
