Very clean
Welcoming atmosphere All the doors squeaked - need oiling š
Need lighting to guide you to fire pit
- Jana (8/5): Great place in the forest - The position of the cottages was great, like in a forest. Everything was very clean and tidy. There was nice seating outside with a beautiful view. A great place for one night. For six people, the living room was too small, with couches for only five. It was hard to light the wood heating in the morning, even though we had experienced scouts with us.

- Jodie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Beverley (10/5): Perfect for a true peaceful and tranqui āget awayā in the country - Timber Top cottage was perfect for our needs. It was a picturesque 10 minute drive to the functions we were attending in Balingup. It was easy to get back to the cottage and enjoy the peace and tranquility of the farm between functions. The cottage was clean and ordered and most convenient. We felt very welcomed and enjoyed a walk through the trees and paddocks.
As we are used to a king sized bed, we found the queen a bit small, but the bedding was fabulous⦠very warm and cosy. It was the snuggliest doona I think Iāve ever slept under. It made getting up hard!
The dozen fresh farm eggs, bread and butter left in the fridge for us made perfect scrambled eggs. Such a treat.
- Nolene (9/5): Will come back again - Everything needed was provided. Very clean and well informed of what we needed to know. Private and quiet. Hot water was good and shower good. All facilities worked well. Nothing really

- Anphin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jay (10/5): Gave complete relaxation and peace, as this is quite in remote and rural place. Helpful host :) - Property is very well equipped with required things, including WIFI. Breakfast was provided as items stored in room like Milk, Cereals, Eggs, Oil, Tea, Coffee, Hot Chocholate, Marshmallow and kitchen ware.
- Katie (10/5): Quiet, comfortable chalet nestled among the trees. - The host was so welcoming and lovely that we immediately felt comfortable and at home. The chalet had everything we needed for an overnight stay. I didn't like that we only had the opportunity to spend one night there. We will have to return!

- Deepak (9/5): Superb -
- Gemma (8/5): Brilliant! - Everything was great and the incidentals like breakfast, milk and marshmallows made the trip so easy and amazing! Not sure
- Mrs (9/5): Perfect for getting away from it all. - Friendly hosts. Peace and quiet. Fireplace was perfect for winter. Nothing to dislike, it was lovely.
- Suzanne (8/5): A fantastic family friendly getaway. Lots of touches to keep the kids entertained- games, trampoline, fire pit with mars - The location N/A
- Vicki (9/5): Enjoyable setting so quiet, if weād had more time the area to do walks would have been amazing. - Liked the quiet setting in the trees. Cottage very clean, loved the farm fresh eggs and other items left. We were able to take our dog. We found the bed being a spring base was somewhat uncomfortable. The $50 for our dog for 2 nights extra was a little steep. If you paid say $20 extra a night it would have been better ( max $100 for a week) , as $50 was for as long as you stayed - a sliding amount per night would be more appealing.
Although it was in a beautiful quiet setting we felt the cottage was a little far out from town, but if you just want to chill and enjoy the bush setting it was beautiful and restful.
- Janice (10/5): very relaxing and peaceful. - how private the place, it provides sanctuary and peace. The whole set up provides stress relief and made me able to rest and recuperate. and i love it when they provide fresh farm eggs and the thoughtful complimentary provisions.
- Odin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Avila (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect getaway. Thank you so much. I will be back.
- Rebecca (10/5): A pleasant surprise in a natural paradise - We loved everything - such a nice surprise in the middle of those stunning trees. Above all, the staff went above and beyond for us - we are so grateful ā¤ļø Nothing
- Tmjsmith (10/5): Absolutely loved this place, it was magical - Absolutely loved this place, very comfortable and cosy and loved the welcome breakfast items. Loved all the chickens and cows, and the owners were very friendly and kind. Our kids loved the trampoline and games, the fire pit and the beautiful farm. Loved how well stocked the cottage was and the wood fire, and the games. We will definitely be back again! Nothing to add here, we love the place.
- Janelle (9/5): Superb -
- Martin (10/5): Great relaxing time - Clean, cozy and quiet.
- Leanne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sudeep (8/5): Great time with family nice n quiet in nature - Basic breaky left on the table . Nice n quiet. Suitable for families. Access to the property via Grimqade road (15km)- left at Donybrook-Boyap Brook Rd is a bumpy road/ not blacked tipped to be avoided.
- Lynne (10/5): Will be back did not have long enough time to enjoy the surroundings - Very helpful host, nothing was to much trouble had everything you would nee. clean and comfortable Nothing
- Claire (10/5): Perfect & peaceful getaway amongst nature for the whole family. - It was so serene and peaceful amongst the trees at TimberTop Cottages. We felt like we were the only ones there - truly relaxing. The cottage was absolutely perfect and catered for every possible need and comfort. Being on the deck watching the sun set while having a bbq and listening to the bird song and cows was just so special. The owners are an absolute delight and were such great hosts and so very very helpful. I canāt recommend this hideaway enough šš I couldnāt fault a single thing.
- Forden (8/5): Very good - We liked the 2 bedrooms..for 2 traveling females friends. Nice to have the courtesy treats..eggs, wine etc. Beds were comphy. Living area the same. As a smoker, I appreciated being able to sit out on the deck!! We enjoyed the fairy lights too. All up, we had a great time! As 2 over 70s, the steep stairs were a bit tricky. Fine for young families though. We noticed there was no muster point in case of fire or instructions re a bush fire..especially as trees are close to the cabins. It appears there's only one way in/ out. Timber Tops is a bit further from town than we'd liked for the Field Day and/or local shopping. A manual for the TV operation would be handy too. Pethaps more than 1 tea towel + more dish soap needed?
- Alexis (8/5): Very good -
- Belinda (10/5): A wonderful place to relax and recharge the soul amongst nature. - Beautiful little cottage that felt so cosy and relaxing - a very homely feeling within the cottage and its surroundings on the farm property. Hosts were amazing and nothing was too much for them to assist us during our stay.
- Ellen (9/5): Superb -
- Pinky (10/5): We love the place. Surely will come back. - The place is so serene, so relaxing. Good for the whole family. If you are looking for the nature ambiance this is the place that youāre looking for. Worth coming back. The owner of the property is very accommodating too. None.
- Bill (8/5): Lovely location, and the owners were absolutely great!! - Lovely location, and the owners were absolutely great!! Kitchen was well equipped and we didnāt need to bring anything apart from food. The wine and snacks are very welcome after a long drive. Julie-Anne was so nice and great with the kids. Make sure you take insect repellent in summer.

- Gretchen (10/5): Magnificent - The cabin was situated in the middle of the forest or trees, it was fully equipped with what we needed during our stay. Bedrooms were nicely made up and comfortable, kitchen was clean and good, then the best part that we didnāt expected was Julie set up some goodies for us to consume during our stay. It was very kind of her to do this extra thing for us.
The fireplace inside the house literally just make you wanna fall asleep, a lot of board games to share with the family and the barbecue at the balcony was just perfect as you can seat down while enjoying the view of the nature.
We defo love our stay, we will defo coming back here again. Perfect way in reconnecting with your family members and natureā„ļø
