• Stephen (7/5): You get what you paid for - The room was clean, the TV worked well and picked up many channels, the shower worked well and the kitchen was very good. The Bed was a bit too hard for my liking, there was no soundproofing between rooms and I would have liked more help from the hosts in regards to checking in

• Lumina (7/5): - It's an ideal location well connected to the city centre by bus and in close proximity to the Tesco Superstore. The property itself was clean and well-maintained. The instructions to self-check in were quite straightforward and the Wi-fi was reliable. Apart from that, the kitchen is well-equipped with appliances and dishes. Enjoyed the stay! The shower keeps alternating between cold and warm water automatically which is a little frustrating.
• Graeme (10/5): Really good value! - I had a lovely time at Ravenhill Townhouse. Very peaceful, And spotless thoughout the house. The area was nice plently of shop's nearby. Very good overall. The distance to city centre. 35 to 40 min walk. But there is very good bus service into city for a few pounds each way.

• anette (4/5): Unterkunft einfach & gut. Aber: keine Kurzbesuche von Familienmitgliedern - sonst fliegt man raus! - Ich bin mit einer Tochter nach Belfast gereist, um unsere andere Tochter bei ihrer Rückkehr aus dem Universitäts-Auslandssemester zu unterstützen. Die Unterkunft ist ein recht kleines, einfaches Haus mit mehreren vermieteten Zimmern und der schmalsten Treppe und kleinsten Dusche, die ich jemals gesehen habe. Es ist nach deutschem Standard sehr einfach renoviert, aber sauber, als wir ankamen. Wir hatten das Zimmer in Erdgeschoss, sodass wir nachts zwar die steile Treppe zur Toilette hoch mussten, aber die Küche auf unserer Ebene haben. Alles ist klein und beengt, aber typisch irisch, wie meine Tochter mir erklärte. Für zwei Nächte eigentlich ok, wenn nicht eine scheinbar freundliche, aber unfassbar rigide Gastgeberin mir die Freude an der Unterkunft vermiest hätte. Schade, denn wer in einen typischen protestantischen Stadtteil Belfaster Stadtteil und einem einfaches Häuschen reinschnuppern will, wäre hier sonst gut aufgehoben. Der absolute NoGo war direkt bei unserer Anreise: meine "Belfast"-Tochter begleitete uns zur Unterkunft und half uns, einzuchecken - mein Englisch ist eher rudimentär. Bereits als wir an der Tür mit der Gastgeberin per "Klingel" kommunizierten, wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass wir nur zu zweit angemeldet seien. Das wussten wir. Gäste seien nicht erlaubt - das wussten wir nicht - diese Info fehlte schlicht in der Beschreibung, sie findet sich erst in den Hausregeln, die man in der Unterkunft findet. Ein Besuchsverbot wäre ein absolutes Ausschlußkriterium für uns gewesen - schließlich waren wir zu dritt in Belfast, wenn auch nur zwei Personen im Häuschen schlafen sollten. Unsere Tochter half uns trotzdem kurz beim Auspacken und schminkte sich kurz - die Mädels wollten gleich gemeinsam ausgehen. Die Gastgeberin muss uns über Kamera überwacht haben, denn ich erhielt recht schnell einen pseudo-freundlichen aber knallharten Anruf, dass meine Tochter augenblicklich das Haus verlassen müsse, sonst würde sie meine Reservierung aufheben und uns rausschmeißen. Haben Sie so etwas schon einmal erlebt? Wir jedenfalls nicht - und wir hoffen auch, niemals mehr wieder eine solche Gastgeberin zu haben. Was konnten wir tun? Meine Tochter nahm es mit Humor und schminkte sich dann tatsächlich auf der Straße. Aber für den weiteren Aufenthalt machte es das ein oder andere Treffen doch deutlich komplizierter. Die zweite Sache betrifft die Sauberkeit: wenn sich wildfremde Menschen ein Bad teilen, sollte es öfters gereinigt werden. Was am Anfang vorbildlich sauber war, war irgendwann so, dass ich Bartstoppeln und Schamhaare in Waschbecken und Toilettenbrille entfernen musste bzw. nach zwei Tag an der gleichen Stelle fand. Nicht lecker.

• Shannon (9/5): Great! - Room was very spacious and comfortable, the entire house was very clean at all times. The owner of the property communicated everything well and was easily contactable upon arrival when I had a question. The doors all have coded locking mechanisms which felt very secure for a solo female. I was staying at the property for a prolonged period of time for work and really enjoyed my time there and would very much recommend it. It’s right beside quick bus routes directly into Belfast City Centre so it’s very accessible. Thank you! Would absolutely come back again There is one shared bathroom for the entire property which was very clean at all times. However if all of the rooms are booked and you are rushing to go somewhere it can be frustrating if many people are waiting to use the bathroom / shower at the same time in the morning. This wasn’t the case very often though so it really wasn’t much of an issue.

Einkaufmöglichkeiten in der Nähe, auch gute Anbindung mit dem Bus Richtung Innenstadt. Fernseher und Internet top. Waschmaschine steht zu gewissen Zeiten zur Verfügung In der Küche war leider kein Herd und kein Backofen verfügbar. Bei Aufenthalten länger als 2 Tage wäre das schon praktisch. Man konnte auch andere Bewohner in ihren Zimmern hören, es war aber nicht schlimm.

D'être resté embarré dans ma chambre durant une heure parce que le système de code inséré à la poignée ne fonctionnait pas. Ce n'est arrivé qu'une fois, mais ce fut extrêmement frustrant et dangereux. J'ai eu beau refaire le code ou taper la lettre C pour le désamorcer, cela n'a fonctionné qu'au bout d'une heure seulement. Je n'ose pas imaginer comment un claustrophobe aurait vécu la situation. On devrait toujours pouvoir sortir librement de sa chambre. C'est la première fois qu'une telle chose me soit arrivée. De plus, il n'y avait pas de restos ou d'autres services à proximité.

• Lillian (9/5): Lovely place, affordable, good bus service to and fro the city centre - Beautiful room, kitchen was well equipped The only minor issue was that the quiet time rule was not adhered to by other guests, and our room was downstairs, and we could hear others in the rooms upstairs walking up and down etc disrupting our sleep. Which has nothing to do with the property itself or the hosts.

Nice backyard, the whole building in good shape Share the bathroom was ok but I never figured out how to get warm water in the shower which is a minor problem of course . • Jasper (9/5): Brilliant, would definitely recommend to anyone staying a few nights in Belfast - A really lovely, very reasonably priced place to stay. Quiet location, very close to the nice Ormeau Park and within about a half hours walk of the City's main attractions. There's a Tesco about 10 minutes walk away for food shopping along with other shops, takeaways and cafes nearby. Bumped into the owner as well while she was having some painting done, very nice lady who clearly wants guests to enjoy their stay and puts a lot of effort into the property. The only drawback was some of the other guests were a bit noisy too early in the morning but this is obviously not the fault of the owner or anything to do with the quality of the property. There are set quiet times along with other property rules in all of the rooms, some people are just not good at following these.
