• Gail (9/5): Perfect for our weekend stay visiting family. - Great location. Very clean and well equipped apartment. Really nice hosts with excellent communication. Check out time is a little early. I appreciate cleaning has to be facilitated but some degree of flexibility would help if possible.
• David (8/5): - A quiet comfortable clean apartment right next to Rodney Parade Rugby ground. The whole experience was a lot of hassle and not cheap. The initial instructions, arrival form completion, car parking instructions, trek to find the keys, refundable deposit and repeat when leaving. A shame because it’s a nice apartment.

Great place to start a run comfortable bedrooms. We struggled to get in but I think that was more us than anyone else we didn't realize it was a key fob and not a key!

• Jack (8/5): Leuk appartement - Uitzicht op de rivier, eigen parkeerplaats.Genoeg ruimte, balkon, fijn bed. Sleutel moet je ophalen in een 24/7 winkel in de buurt, je kunt hier bijna niet parkeren, beter is om de auto bij het appartement te parkeren en lopend naar de winkel te gaan om de sleutel op te halen, is een wandeling van 5 minuten. Keuken is beperkt ingericht, maar goed genoeg om zelf te koken en te eten, helaas geen afwasmiddel om af te wassen. Barkrukken zijn te hoog om aan het keukenblad te eten, wij hebben de balkonstoeltjes met de salontafel hiervoor gebruikt, dat gaat prima. Douchen is in een badkuip staan, deze is glad, let op met uitglijden.
• Adrian (10/5): Faultless - Location was excellent. The hosts sent plenty of information in advance giving full details about how to obtain the keys and where the parking was for the property. Everything was clear and very easy to understand. The apartment was lovely, clean, spacious, very comfortable and in a superb location. Couldn’t have been any better.
• Sellick (9/5): Excellent apartment for a relaxing holiday - Excellent location right next to the town centre. The flat was well decorated and had everything we needed. Communication was good and very useful. Having a parking space was fantastic as it's difficult to park around the flat. The neighbours were very quiet and the views were amazing. The kitchen utensils and the oven weren't as clean as I would have liked and the balcony door wouldn't lock. But apart from that I don't have any other negative things to share.
• Taff (10/5): - We have stayed at this apartment on 3 occasions now and love it, the apartment is spotlessly clean and in the perfect location for all your needs. Thank you once again to Rebecca & Mathew for a lovely stay. There's nothing not to like.
• Stevens (9/5): Fantastic apartment, would stay here again! - This is a beautiful apartment with amazingly comfortable beds and a beautiful balcony with view and easy access to shops. The rooms were decorated really nicely. Rebecca had good communication and the towels supplied were lovely and soft. It felt very mixed with what was supplied. They supplied ample toilet roll, hand soap, body wash etc, but then there were no cleaning cloths or kitchen roll or even scissors in the drawer so it felt like it was lacking in a couple of things. But this is only a minor thing. Everything else was fantastic.

• Fleming (8/5): Wonderful river views, great apartment. - The Hosts were really helpful when we got a contact number for them and facilitated an earlier check in which was great. The apartment was beautifully decorated and well equipped. Little touches were appreciated like washing up liquid, hand soaps and shower gel. We loved our view of the river and the balcony for sitting out on. Thank you for a lovely two day break and if I were to come back I would definitely use this apartment again. Thank you. Minor points only. We couldn't turn down the heat on the shower. The blinds were quite tricky to pull up and down, the balcony door was very stiff to lock as requested although it was unlocked on arrival and one of the sofa arm rests was quite dirty. We only offer these as pointers for the owners rather than any reason not to book as overall a great apartment.

• David (10/5): Very clean, well furnished apartment with great balcony to relax on watch the world go by. - The apartment was in a great location. Myself and a colleague were working in Newport only 15 mins walk from the apartment. The wide path running along side the river made it very convenient to go for a long run after work. We had planned to stay for a few weeks but our work plans changed unexpectedly and so we only got to stay in the apartment for 3 nights. However, they were a very relaxing 3 days especially because the weather was so good and allowed us to soak up the rays on the balcony overlooking the water. This will be the first place I look to book if I’m ever in the area in the future.

• Jonathon (8/5): Lovely apartment with a view - Beautiful two room apartment with a great view across the river Usk. Very clean and cosey. The key pickup and drop off is a little tricky. Make sure you know where the key location is in regards to the apartment, especially if you are on foot. We had some issues with the hot water heater, but Matthew was excellent communicating to fix the problem.

Floors felt a little sticky and a lingering smell which could have easily been rectified if I’d had contacted the owner but wasn’t a real problem.

• Samira (10/5): Exceptionally clean and modern flat with amazing riverside views - Beautifully furnished and exceptionally clean. From the two large bedrooms, to the kitchen/living room area. Everything was spot on. Kitchen had all the facilities we needed as a small family. Bathroom a good size and clean and there was enough wardrobe space to put away all our things. Beautiful views outside the balcony. Local amenities were accessible- shopping centre just opposite the river too. Heather and Matthew gave detailed instructions from the get go and made it really easy for us to settle in quickly.

Google maps had not heard of the post code., when we finally found our building, the parking was next to another building so we thought we were at the wrong space.but it was correct t but at a the next building. Then the keys were very difficult, a neighbour helped us get in. The pick up from the shop was not a problem.would have liked a phone number to call. Only had that once in the property.

Always love the surrounding and how easy to get to my graduation, and we get to explore cardiff as well. Such a bonus. -

• Rixson (5/5): Ok - Close to river and easy access for what we needed. Key lock was at a shop that was impossible to access by car. Then on arrival the hosts had not sent the code. Worst check-in we have had when staying somewhere. Not well set up. Kitchen grill etc had not been cleaned.

Even better if later check-out (an extra hour) and ability to access parking earlier (although multi story at end of road is only £5 for 24 hours).

Nothing serious,just a few little niggles.Kitchen could do with a decent sharp bread knife, and a non stick scourer for washing dishes. A hook on the bathroom door would be useful .
