- Steven (9/5): Modern in great location - Modern, clean and spacious. Close to town with a nice upstairs balcony and undercover parking The front door lock was very difficult to operate and really needs replacing

- Richard Warren (9/5): Cowell Town House Review - Nice place to stay for last minute booking when travelling Spa had a lot of loose hairs in and around it but after I gave it a quick clean it was nice and relaxing
- Yan (6/5): Property was good. Check in instructions need to be improved. - It was spacious and large kitchen with all necessary tools. It was an exhausting check-in process. The check-in was in a local hotel/pub. But the property location was two streets away. No clear instructions were given. We drove multiple times around the area and couldn’t work out how to check in. We at last called the property and was told to go to the pub to check in and obtain keys. Then drove back to the property. It was a very exhausting process.
Second bedroom was very hot due to afternoon western sun. The only aircon was located in master bedroom which doesn’t help with the heat in 2nd bedroom.
Oven in kitchen was not working.
No laundry detergent was provided.
No body wash, only a tiny soup bar was provided.

Very spacious, quiet street Shared Bathroom had to wait in turn as there were 4 of us, but had a second toilet which helped

- Gary (9/5): Comfortable stay. - The apartment was very spacious, comfortable and modern decor. The beds were very comfortable. Parking was easy. Simply picked the keys up from the hotel down the road. Location was a short walk into Main Street and down to the foreshore. All good.

- Sheila (10/5): Only there for one night but extremely comfortable and relaxing - Large, airy,large living area. A proper kitchen with all amenities so we could cook. A laundry with a dryer and ice cubes in the freezer Nothing comes to mind.

- Robert (5/5): Disappointed the spa was not working - The property was in a great location. Very spacious I only chose this accomodation as it was my partner’s birthday and we wanted a spa. On the first night we ran the spa only to find out it did not work was turned off at main power breaker and the button was stuck in. When I notified the owner/pub I never got a return call. The cleaner when walking past said Jervois this the one the spa doe hit work I replied with yes only to be told oh well will have to get an electrician in next week. And never heard a thing about it again.

For a 2-storey place and the price, a water view would have been good.
Also, there was no 'folder' about the town house or local attractions - especially opening hours.

- Yanchao (9/5): It needs a warn Shower - Very spacious and comfortable. A full kitchen and BBQ if we were staying for moore than one night. Walking distance to cafes and Foodland, which are open on Public holidays. We wanted a townhouse so that my son and daughter will each have a bed. Somehow we were given the 5th Unit with two queen beds. The water temperature of the shower is constantly switching from hot to cold.

Well stocked kitchen Maintenance is needed - the sliding door to the deck didn’t slide, and the shower dripped all night
Bed and pillows were hard
Clear communication would have been helpful to let us know the keys are picked up from the pub - this would have saved us the confusion of driving up and down the Main Street looking for the apartments.

- Maxine (7/5): - It was close to town and walking distance. The spa didn’t work. But was advertised as part of the property. Got charged twice but did get refunded. Drove 15 hrs and couldn’t check in at 1.45 just before 2.00 because room was not available and staff did not where the keys were.

- Rachel Riebe (8/5): Great! - The townhouse was in a brilliant location - within walking distance to everything. The accommodation was spacious, clean and had everything we required. Will definitely book again. The only issue was that the spa bath wasn't working.

- Klobucar (4/5): - Apartments were in a good location, just 200m from the local pubs. Food at the commerical hotel - the owners of the apprtments - was decent and staff was friendly. Apartments had a modern look and were spacious. The apartments could hardly be considered clean. The front of the microwave was caked in a greasey film with fingerprints all over it, the same was true for all kitchen utensils. Some spoons, forks, and knives still had food on them. I had to wash everything before use, even then, I was concerned for my hygiene. The kettle looked like it had never been cleaned, and the same for the toaster. Overall, it made the stay extremely dissatisfying.

- Rebecca (8/5): Overall a great place to stay, lovely little community in a beautiful spot. - The apartment had everything you needed and was comfortable in a great location. Picked up the keys from the Commercial Hotel, and the staff were amazing. It's also a great place for a feed! The property was clean and comfortable, but a thorough deep clean would elevate the property.

- Amanda (5/5): Too pricey for the standards we received. Location excellent. Comfortable beds. Needs repairs! - The main bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was clean. The heating/ cooling worked. There were enough chairs for us all at the inside table. There was a laundry if required. We arrived at night and collected the keys from the pub, as this was the address for the accommodation, but it was actually a block away and we were not given an address to drive to. The light globes were not working in one room, and arriving at night time this made it difficult. We dragged a lamp from upstairs to the downstairs room, along with the pet dust bunnies residing around it. The patio BBQ was very dirty - it needs a cover, but also the inside was not clean. We turned it on and there was a strong gas smell, even though it was alight. We felt this was not a safe item to use. The patio furniture was only for 2 people, and all very dirty. The chairs inside, although enough, have completely lost their padding and you sit on a cloth covered wooden frame.
The single beds all need a lamp and bedside table, and the general condition of the carpets and skirting boards are in dire need of replacing. The front door hangs across the stairwell and has been damaged.

Couldn't sit on dining room chairs as the seats have totally gone (apartment 1) A couple of luggage racks would be handy, as can't bend down to case on floor

Couldn't use dining chairs (all of the seats have fallen through. The apartment needs some TLC & a deep clean.

If this property is in the process of renovation it should not be used until it is co - Address on the booking was not the address of the unit which was two streets away making arrival very confusing but ended up in a quiet area. Bathroom appeared to be recently updated altough there was some tiles in the shower which had damage. Badly stained and thread bare carpets in bedrooms. Blinds leading to outside in bedroom two were broken with cords hanging making exit difficult. Dining chairs had no remaining seat padding. Hole in front door with entry wall repaired but not painted. Balcony BBQ not useable.

- Heinrich (9/5): excellent and enjoyable except for the lack of functioning wi-fi downstairs which was disappointing - The wi-fi did not work effectively downstairs - as a result we could not watch movies or shows on our laptops at night when in bed. if this cannot be rectified, I would suggest that a more "modern" (bigger) TV with all the necessary Apps be fitted to the main bedroom

- Pauline (8/5): Cowell is a pretty place. We had pig on the spit at the local pub. - We didn't eat the breakfast. The stairs going up to the top floor were too steep and slippery. I ended up staying downstairs. My husband and friend used the stairs and said they were not safe. They are polished timber. Should have had carpet on them 🙄

Being off a farm we are used to quietness and it delivered an extremely pleasant and peaceful stay!
Will definitely stay here again! Only trivial but our large vehicles didn’t fit under cover parking provided, but parked safely in front of it

I urgently booked accomodation on the day askin for wauchope property's and was given somewhere S/A was not happy told both property and bookings within 15 min of booking property but buyer beware so was out $220 for room never used
