• Jasmine (9/5): All in all, a great stay in turbulent times! - Good, helpful and friendly communication with the property owners, and a great location despite the ongoing protests and police barricades nearby. Very clean! We were able to pay by transferring money from our Euro account to theirs, which helped with the price. The wifi was weak.

Nous avons pu laisser nos bagages dans un endroit sécurisé et revenir plus tard. La gérante est vraiment très gentille, réactive et arrangeante. Et elle parle l'anglais !
• Adar (1/5): Terrible experience - It’s clean and comfortable This was honestly one of the worst accommodation experiences I’ve had. I would absolutely NOT recommend staying here. Before arriving, I clearly asked if early check-in was possible, and they said yes. But when I got there, they suddenly demanded extra payment for it — something they never mentioned beforehand. That’s misleading and unprofessional. During my short two-day stay, they kept disturbing me at completely unreasonable hours. At 7:30 PM, they knocked on my door just to take a photo of my passport — something that could have easily been handled over WhatsApp. Then again at 8:00 AM, they woke me up demanding payment, even though I had already sent a bank transfer. Completely unnecessary and disrespectful. On top of that, the place is overpriced for what it offers. They also tried to charge me using an inflated local exchange rate. I booked through Booking at $32 (221 BOB), but they insisted on charging 288 BOB instead. That’s a huge difference and feels like a scam. Overall, terrible communication, constant disturbances, and dishonest pricing. Avoid this place.

Pero remarcar que Marina (la anfitriona) es super mega amable, con muchas experiencias interesantes por contar y siempre atenta a todo. También mencionar al joven Mark, que fue de mucha utilidad con sus consejos. Sin dudas me volvería a quedar en este lugar. Realmente no tengo mucho que objetar. Por ahí mejorar un poquito la limpieza. Había bastante rastros de otros en la ducha por ejemplo, pero no es nada que le quite mérito al lugar.

• Péter (9/5): Great apartment close to the centre - Spacious apartment close to the centre. Owners are very kindful, and speak English well. They offered, more apartment options, and I got a really nice, with well equipped kitchen, and good view. Extra heating is available which can be useful in April. Cleaniless is not perfect, the floor needed to be clean after I arrived. WiFi works hectical, you do better to buy mobile internet connection.

But what I like best above all is the kindness of Mariana and Roberto since I arrived until I departed. They are very helpful and makes me feel like I'm home. Definitely would recommend to everyone coming to La Paz!

• David (10/5): Exceptional - Super clean and safe building in a central location in the older part of the city. The couple running it is very fluent in English as well. During my stay in October 2023. I came down with very bad Altitude sickness. I was bed ridden and couldn’t catch my breath. During that time the older couple running the place kept on checking on me. They kept bringing me medicine/water and food. On the third day they insisted I go to the hospital. They drove me there and I ended up in hospital for 11 days. With 3 days being in the icu. During that time they visited me everyday. They talked to the doctors for me and handled almost all the paperwork. Without them helping me I would of been completely lost. I do not speak Spanish and was traveling alone at the time. I cannot thank them enough for all they have done for me! Besides from helping me survive altitude sickness,the apartments themselves are comfortable. Wifi in bolivia isn't always great and here it was standard with some flaky moments. I enjoyed the apartments after all and in my second staying I ended up enjoying the city to its fullest. I definitely recommend it and know you can count on the hosts.

The staff was really friendly and helpful, I was able to leave some of my things there while going to the jungle. Big recommendations, like having your own home meanwhile travelling!

They have been abusive and aggressive towards me throughout my booking. The day before checkout she wanted cash payment and was charging me more than the official rate in cash. Then she sent some old abusive man to my room, he kicked the door open and used force to leave my door open and shouting at me at my face. I had to leave the property. I paid in cash and then had to leave early. Their abusive and aggressive behaviour is unacceptable and this property should not be on booking. I checked on google and they have a one star rating of the exact same experience. It has been terrible. The entrance is through a car park which shuts at night so it’ll be very difficult to come inside after dark. Wifi does not work

• John (9/5): great studio in a good location with really helpful English speaking staff - great views, good spacious studio, good quiet location at night but within walking distance from most central attractions. The staff were great both Roberto and Marina. Marina brought me herbal mate as I was suffering a little with the altitude and Roberto organised taxis and was genuinely helpful. Great place great price no complaints at all
• Lisa (9/5): The studio was honestly perfect. I could have stayed here for a month - Warm welcome. Somebody helped me with my bags and ahowed me to my room/studio. The only thing that could be improved is the internet connection. Sometimes it was good and I could do videocalls other times there was no internet. This was several nights.
