• Mathieu (9/5): Magnifique villa, belle décoration. Petite villa un peu sombre. - La décoration de la villa, la piscine, la vue, le jacuzzi, le calme, le jardin. La villa sans vue est très sombre, peu de lumière, une des chambres à quelques remontées d’odeur, le wifi dans les chambres ne fonctionne pas. Pas de bbq dans la petite villa.

• Fernanda Farina (3/5): Misleading listing of an apartment not worth the price. - The house is modern and semi well equipped. Room sizes are large. Good bathrooms with very good showers. Beautiful pool which we didn't use because its at another flat. - Front door of the house is a massive fire hazard. It has no knobs and requires using the key as leaver to open the door. I pointed that out to the host and was completely dismissed. "We never had an issue", was the response. We had a baby and I felt incredibly unsafe. If the key was to brake or a fire broke down, it would have been very dangerous. - The Jacuzzi had half of the jets broken, and was cold. 35C - The listing is really not clear as it indicates that the apartment has a barbecue grill, which it does not (attached the list of amenities publicised). We found one that we thought it was shared with the other apartment, and the next day got an email saying it wasn't. However, that morning, the cleaning team stole all the material we bought for the grill. And even after informing the host they denied giving us back saying it was thrown away (!!). - I had filtered the apartment search on booking one for a barbecue grill, so it should not have shown as an option, as it did - please see photo indicating that the apartment had a barbecue grill. - The apartment is very expensive but still there was NO pods for the washing machine, 4 toilet paper rolls for 6 people during 5 days (!!) - The apartment is dark and has ZERO view and a tiny outdoor space. Check photo. - its actually a bit far from the beach to walk. I definitely would not have paid what we did for this apartment if it was properly portrait in the listing

• Lea (10/5): Ich wüsste nicht, was man hier verbessern könnte - Uns hat einfach alles gefallen! Es ist extrem ruhig, man schläft in den Betten sehr gut und kann nachts mit offenem Fenster schlafen und man hört nichts. Keine Mücken, keine Menschen, kein Lärm, nichts, das stört. 1-2 mal ist das Wlan ausgefallen, was ziemlich unpraktisch für uns war, weil wir während unseres Aufenthalts arbeiten mussten. Aber der Gastgeber war immer sehr gut erreichbar und hat geholfen!

The bathroom shower had no curtain or glass separation, which made the bathroom completely wet after use. Love the design but not super convenient. Tip: a floor wiper would be good to add to the bathroom.

The check in and check out times do not allow you to fully enjoy your first and last day of holiday. Later check out would have helped.

• Patrycjusz (10/5): - Stunning and pristine location, so naturally beautiful. The villa itself has got a unique design which is both architecturally stunning and practical at the same time. Communicating with host was very straightforward and efficient. Easy process of checking in and autonomous entry with key left in locked box. Another handy thing was water dispenser/ filtered hot/cold water. If you're looking for tasteful luxury in hideouot you can get better. Little paradise.... A bit confusing as for website description about facilities: it is generally stating jacuzzi but it is only in one villa out of these 2 which are connected together but when you go through the photos it is not clearly separated as there are 2 accommodations put in together in the photos. I suggest to owner to ensure that if you click on certain room the photos attached are only for specific room. Though it was so great anyway that it didn't really matter at the end 😊
• Melanie (10/5): Alles in allem sehr erholsame Ferien in einem wunderschönen Haus - Ein tolles Haus an ruhiger Lage mit wunderbarem Ausblick. Architektonischer Augenschmaus für ein Ferienhaus. Gute Ausstattung. Wunderbarer Blick auf die Famarabucht. Ruhig und abseits des Trubels In der Küche fehlt es an dem ein oder anderen Werkzeug… Tablett, Karottenschäler, noch ein zweites Schneidebrett.
• Karim (7/5): Leer bien la descripción - El agua de la piscina estaba climatizada. La decoración es muy bonita y está bastante bien equipada. En nuestro caso en concreto éramos 3 parejas y cada habitación tenía su propio baño que es genial en estos casos. También tuvieron un bonito detalle de bienvenida con una botella de vino, un aceite y dos vinagres de la isla. Se publicita con unas fotos que es una combinación de las 2 villas que forman la propiedad. Por ejemplo, una villa tiene jacuzzi pero no tiene barbacoa y en la otra si hay barbacoa pero no jacuzzi. No tiene aire acondicionado. La piscina es compartida con otra villa y después de 3 días en la piscina el agua estaba verde. Habían bastantes hormigas y alguna cucaracha en la propiedad. Y por último, un Check in a las 16:00 horas con un Check out a las 10:00.

• Colosetti (8/5): Très bon séjour sur une île magnifique avec des paysages incroyables dans une très belle villa. - Logement bien équipé. Emplacement calme et proche de la playa Famara ! Une vue incroyable ! Une piscine qui est partagée avec d autres logements. Il est indiqué piscine privée au sens pas public mais elle n est pas liée au logement.
• Julian (10/5): Un séjour dépaysant et ressourçant dans un cadre naturel d’exception, entre océan, roche volcanique et calme absolu. - La villa est idéalement située, au calme, presque au bout du monde, avec une vue envoûtante sur l’océan et la plage de Famara accessible à pied. L’ensemble est baigné dans la culture locale et ancré dans la roche volcanique, ce qui rend l’expérience totalement dépaysante. L’aménagement et le design est pensé avec soin selon la culture de Lanzarote, les chambres sont bien entretenues et la décoration respecte l’esprit naturel du lieu. Mention spéciale pour l’architecture, l’atmosphère paisible, et la sensation de vivre dans un écrin de nature brute. Aussi, les équipes CIH sont très réactives et en cas d’interrogation sur le logement. Rien de néfaste. En journée, mieux vaut bien ventiler la maison, car la chaleur peut s’accumuler. Et comme on est sur une île, quelques insectes peuvent venir s’abriter, mais cela fait aussi partie du charme sauvage du lieu. Un petit guide pour comprendre les différents choses à savoir, comme la présence d’une fontaine à eau dans le placard, l’éclairage manuel par diffuseur à pressoir pourrait aussi être utile au départ, pour autant, une fois pris en main, tout fonctionne parfaitement.

• Jasmine (7/5): Style over substance, suitable for a night or two but no more - The villa is beautifully designed but it is a perfect example of style over substance. It is in a stunning location and although there is no view from inside the villa, the view from the pool area is breathtaking. The outside areas were immaculate and the beds were comfortable. Arrived when it was dark and the directions provided were wrong. We were told the villa was on the right when it was on the left. I pointed this out to the host who initially claimed the instructions were correct but then corrected themselves. Unnecessary stress. Not the best start. Kitchen floor was sticky in places with what looked like dried on food, two of the kitchen drawers had crumbs in. Four pillowcases were dirty and clearly hadn't been changed since the last guests. We informed the host who was apologetic and claimed to be embarrassed but instead of sending someone to check the property and see what went wrong with cleaning given that it wasn't just one issue, they simply sent a cleaner with whom we could not communicate properly as we only have broken Spanish and she didn't seem to know what the issue was so she just cleaned the drawers, did a cursory mop of the kitchen floor (which was still sticky afterwards) and changed pillowcases. Clearly the property had not been properly cleaned before we arrived and the host did not take this seriously enough. The host charges an extremely high cleaning fee so this is inexcusable and, in the case of the pillowcases, disgusting. The lack of proper cleaning became more apparent the longer we were there. The outside areas were immaculate but early one morning, without any prior notice from the host, gardeners arrived. It was disconcerting to see legs going past the window whilst sitting on the toilet. The description and photos are a little misleading with regard to views. There was no view from our villa and the high concrete walls felt a little prison-like to me. The pathway to the other villa was raised and went directly past two bedrooms which meant there was little privacy. Additionally, there are windows everywhere and as the property is set below street level, one window looked directly into our en suite which was frustrating.
