Guest Reviews
Tot mol correcte i 100% recomenable.
- Nathalie (8/5): -
- DANIG75 (10/5): - La città, la location dell'appartamento e la cordialità dei proprietari
- Domenico (9/5): Excellent position - Excellent position! Just outside the wonderful old city. Don't have breakfast in any place in Dubrovnik, unless you want to pay like in Manhattan (5 euro for one cappuccino!!!). Use the supermarket just down the apartment, they have hot beverages (including cappuccino), plus croissants for right prices. Don't have lunch in Dubrovnik, unless you want to pay like in very classy Convent Garden bistrot. Use the bakery just down the apartment (good sandwiches and more). Just go for dinner in Dubrovnik and choose something that is not in the main road. Up to both sides of it, you'll find (almost) acceptable prices. They ruined the city: one icecream (2 tastes) is 8 euro!!! Nothing. Well, prices in Dubrovnik are outrageous! Never seen prices like that, not even in Oslo!!! They are crazy.
- Mark Neil (10/5): Amazing! - The view. Splendid! Everything was perfect!
- Piotr (10/5): - Lokalizacja świetna.
Obok sklepy, przystanek autobusowy i taksówek. Wejście na stare miasto zaledwie 20m
- Joel (10/5): - Beautiful host, incredible room and view in the heart of Dubrovnik. I honestly don’t think there’s a better spot to stay in the entire town.

- Shiva (7/5): Good -
- Mike (6/5): Location is incredible but it comes with some compromises. - Location cannot be beaten - next to the old town gates and amazing beach. Good communication ahead of the stay also and they helped with bags when we arrived which was very nice of them. The view from the main room is like a post card! Very basic rooms for the price. There is no coffee or tea available which seems like a very simple addition to make and would have made us feel more welcomed. Parking is super expensive overnight (€80 Euro) as this is literally next to the near the old town. Instead you can park at a nearby parking station (200m away) or farther way, near Gruz for €25 (much cheaper) and get a local bus back.
Be aware of the tight and steep staircase for those with heavy luggage.
- Beverly (9/5): Superb - The view and the location The stairs but doable. I had a carry on luggage so ot wasn't a problem.
- Jennifer (9/5): Very kind and helpful owners … perfect locations - Excellent space
Great location to everything No tea towel, no bread board.
Mattress very saggy
- Chris (7/5): Good -
- Pirak (4/5): The front door was tricky to unlock so was our room. I would not stay there again. They said they had shuttle service to - I didn’t have to move too far from my other room Didn’t like the shower the shower handle was broken stove top didn’t work the hot water was not plumbed in at the sink in the kitchen and the one reason I booked the room. I thought the view was going to be Better the view I thought I was going to get supposed to be more of the city, but our room was more on that side and you really had to stick your head out the window to get the view. I thought we were going to get.
- Ingunn (9/5): Superb - Really helpful host and perfekt location!
- Elias (1/5): badp0 - just the location. everything else was super bad i did not like anything
- Julie (8/5): Very good -
- Jake (10/5): Exceptional - The owners were very friendly and accommodating.
- Rita (7/5): Excellent location for a short stay in Dubrovnik. The host could not do enough for us, she was great - Excellent location, walking distance to the old town, beaches and restaurants. The room's raked ceiling were an issue for our guests who were tall.
Parking was available at an extra fee, which was not disclosed at the time of booking, even though we filtered for parking on the booking.com app.
Host was amazing, she could not do enough for us. The hot water ran out after two showers. The shower head was broken and kept coming off the wall. The initial description on booking.com, did not match what we expected. Two rooms vs two bedrooms, the latter is what we were expecting. Instead the second room was a bathroom.
- Caitriona (2/5): Avoid. Rip off. Stay further out and get Ubers - good location The only. thing I liked was the location.
What I didn’t like:
The steep stairs
The smell of rotten cauliflower in the hallways
The low ceilings jutting out everywhere- banged my head more than once so had to stoop most of the time just in case
The very basic and very poorly decorated apartment
The curtains- instead of buying ones that fit, they’re gathered up with maybe a paperclip(?)
The doilies scattered here and there
The stippled walls
The shower curtain 9 inches too long- makes you think of what germs lurk there
The tv not set up and needed to be done by the family downstairs.
No hand towels
One roll of toilet paper
Very noisy -could hear the other guests at all hours.
Host explained that he needed to make his money during the holiday season to live off during the rest of the year so it’s obvious to him that the place is a rip off.
Would recommend staying further out from old town in a nice hotel and get Ubers around as they’re cheap.
Was offered an airport pickup for €50 in advance via email just in case they hadn’t made enough from us. Our Uber cost €24 for 4 of us.
The photos are super deceiving- mixed in with other photos of other apartments (mainly of the views) are a few snaps of our apartment (#1) which going by the photos is the worst of a bad lot. If the property were €20 each per night it would be a little pricey but we paid €70 each (x4) so feel ripped off.
- Erin (10/5): It was amazing! - Location was perfect! Views were stunning. Air conditioning was great. Host was helpful and responsive No issues
- Maria (8/5): Very good - Really nice view of the water and so close to town Liked everything !
- Akiko (9/5): The bus stop is right in front of you and the supermarket is next to you.I think it's the most convenient location i - The location and scenery are excellent. The owner is also kind!
- Bastian (5/5): Passable - NEAR THE WALLED CITY/STRATEGICALLY LOCATED ROOMS
- Mooney (8/5): Great location, perfect for a short stay. - Great location, nice clean room
- Alexis (7/5): Good - Great location Not the best communication with the host
- Atif (9/5): Superb - Great location. Right next to old town. Expensive parking nearby. 24 euros for 24 hours.
- Thomas (7/5): The place is really good but the hosts are questionable - The location was right by the old town (1 min walk to arrive at the gate of the old town ), the view was amazing and the room was really clean ( we got room number 2 as shown in the pictures which no doubt had an amazing view and a super nice breeze when all the windows were open ) for 4 people it was just perfect. So. The people that were in charge of the room sent us an email before arriving and said that they could transport us to from and back to the airport and said that it would be 48 euros per ride ( that meant about 12 euros per person as there were 4 of us ) that seemed like a bit too much of a price tag for a cab ride and then we decided to use BOLT ( a transfer app, exactly like uber) and the guy charged us 23 euros and 26 when going back... the hosts had a 20+ euro mark up and straight up tried to scam us.... That is not something that is appreciated and it needs to be mentioned... people are not stupid and you are losing all credibility when trying to get those 20 euros with such a scammy and dishonest way.
- Richard (8/5): Very good -
- Anna (8/5): Very good - The view is really amazing! The entrance to the old town is just a few steps away from the house. Great place to stay if you don't come by car. There is no cheap parking available in the vicinity, which we did not expect.
- Mamarasulov (10/5): Exceptional -
- Aleksandar (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was perfect. No such a thnig.
- Maria (9/5): Superb -
- Sebastiaan (4/5): Dated - Very close to the old town. The son of the host was very friendly and helpful. A lot of stuff needs to be replaced
- Andrei (8/5): Very good -
- Fiona (8/5): Great location and view from window - Close to centre with no steps No central space with no bed
- Elsi (6/5): Pleasant - The location is just perfect , one step from old town gate,
It was very clean and very friendly host It is very old inside , with small budget can be improved.
- Marc (9/5): Very enjoyable - Right next to the ❤️ of town
- Martina (10/5): Exceptional - Great location
- Paula (10/5): Exceptional -
- Christer (6/5): Ok, as expected. But parking, or as stated free parking is a SCAM. We needed to pay 80€ for less than two days, and it i - Ok. Perfect location. However, bad Wi-Fi, bad shower and to light. It is only one big room, so don’t expect small kids that can be put to sleep before adults go to sleep. Ok
- Bjorgvin (9/5): Location, location, location! - Location, location, location.
45 seconds from the gate to Dubrovnik Old Town. Beautiful views of the old town. The apartment is not very modern but has all you need.
- Borja (6/5): Pleasant -
- Yihang (10/5): Fabulous! - The view from the property is fantastic! You don’t need to go out to take pics of these amazing historical places which you could easily get it from your own room! ! none
- Alicia (9/5): Would recommend to anyone staying in Dubrovnik. - The apartment is steps away from the Ploče gates to the Old City. The view of the harbor from the apartment was beautiful.
- Maria (8/5): Clean and pleasant big room - Perfect location: close to centre, nice views and the neighbouring houses have a bakery, a small grocery store and a café. Across the street, you can get pizza and coffee. This is also a perfect place to start and end exploring the old city: it's right next to the gates, the entrance to the city walls is close by as well as the sea.
The space is a clean, large room with everything we needed, even some spices and olive oil - so check what is in there before heading to the grocery shop. The windows are high and not big, so it's not like you are hit with the sea views all the time, but it's a pleasure just to sit and watch the sea outside.
Hosts are very helpful and friendly! They have thought about how to make it functional, for sure - the shower was nice, hot and strong and the induction plate very quick and effective.
We found some magnets and postcards on which you can see the appartement, simply because of its amazing location. So that is quite unique, I would say. Don't expect something extremely fancy - it's a nice, clean place. We were with our toddler, which brings its challenges. One of them was putting him to sleep, especially for afternoon nap. The room is quite light, and curtains don't stop too much light. On the other hand, it's one big area, so once someone of you is asleep, the others are still in the same room... we have put a blanket over some chairs to separate the toddler a bit so he can get enough undisturbed rest, which worked well for us.
- Samuel (8/5): Very good - The location was amazing. Easy to find also. The description says that there are parking available but they did not mention that it costs 30€ per day in advance. Parking area was located far and, hopefully, we could leave our car to one hotel’s property for more affortable price. I suggest the option parking should be removed from the Booking.com’ webside.
- Jen (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing location and views. Lovely host family onsite and very helpful.
- Badrinarayanan (9/5): Great view and worth it -
- Kayla (10/5): Perfect location! - We had an awesome stay here! The room is in a perfect location and the view is stunning!!! Unfortunately we we only stayed one night but would definitely book again in the future!! Thanks so much
- Toni (10/5): Exceptional -
- Laurent (10/5): best location at a arm-length of the old town - no better location, a few meters from the old town with a view on the city walls!
very nice welcome accommodating our luggage’s on departure day.
perfect except the lack of parking. recommended parking was 600m away and cost 50€ for 7pm to 3pm next day on May 2 (outrageous ! but not the host’s fault!)
- Amelia (8/5): Very good - The beautiful scenery! The window view! Location was so incredible!!
- Frederic (8/5): Very good -
- Belen (10/5): Great view and even better location - perfect location and great view of the old town’s harbor. the airport shuttle bus dropped us off right at the apartment’s door. the kitchen space could be bigger but it was enough for our stay
- Laura (10/5): Exceptional -
- Katherine (9/5): Old town Dubrovnik - The host Nives was so helpful, going above and beyond to accommodate us, she was so helpful. We had made a mistake with our booking which she was able to help us with and we ended up in a beautiful apartment in central old town, perfect location for everything! Beds super comfy and with aircon it was just perfect
