- Lee-Ann (8/5): Great Location Excellent Host Lacking Facilities - Our Host was extremely attentive and accommodating. Just a call away when we needed it. The location is fabulous. Overall the space is great We did not realise the ceiling height in the bedroom was so so low. We struggled to not hit our heads. Had to change downstairs as it was easier. Missed not having a mirror in the bedroom to do makeup and hair which had to be done in the bathroom. The bedroom is lacking facilities.
Every Apartment we have ever stayed in has offered tea coffee milk however this Apartment does not offer this which was disappointing. Had we been made aware we could have purchased on arrival. When i called the host she explained her Airbnb does not offer this. Again very bisare as i run an Airbnb and offer this. The pillows in the bedroom are poor quality. The sleeper couch is very uncomfortable and my daughter had to sleep with us on the 2nd night. Not ideal.
The cleaning needs attention. Their was not enough shower gel/soap for 3 adults for two nights. It was almost empty on day one.
We struggled to gain access and couldn't find the key safe which is clipped onto the railing but the host did assist when we needed help.
Lighting on the spiral staircase needs urgent attention as there is none and we needed to use our mobile phones. The Apartment is on the second floor and climbing those stairs was difficult with suitcases.
Only two large coffee mugs when their were 3 adults.
We struggled to close the roller blinds but once again the host was outstanding and speedily sent over her husband.

- Peter (5/5): Passable -
- Maia (10/5): Overall solid 10/10 - Super informative host and it was really easy to get into the apartment. Good air con and close to lots of useful shops and restaurants etc. Low roof upstairs so if you are taller you wouldn’t be able to properly stand up upstairs but other than that nothing to fault!!
- Boyd (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ksenia (9/5): Superb -
- Eva (3/5): Don't recommend this accomodation - Good location near the city center. The apartment is nice but the building is old and dark like in a horror movie. The worst check-in service I have ever experienced and I travel really often.
At the time of arrival, the owner didn´t send the information regarding the check-in, she was just sending nonsense voice messages. I tried to call her, she hung up. Terrible behaviour.
After 2,5 hours waiting before the building - summer day, 35 degrees (I, my mom 68years, my son 4years) I had to contact Booking to resolve this situation. So after this call she sent the information, but getting into the building and to the room wasn't really easy. Waste of time and money.
- Alina (9/5): Superb - Very central, clean, quiet apartment and helpful host. Overall lovely experience! No elevator, but we managed to go up the stairs with our luggage, and it was worth the effort!
- Dmitrii (10/5): Exceptional - We arrived in Budapest for three days. The weather was very hot, but the air conditioner in the apartment saved us. The apartment is clean, the bed is very comfortable, and it has everything you need for living - an oven, a stove, a microwave, a kettle, and even a toaster, with plenty of towels. We really liked that it was quiet since the apartment is inside a courtyard. The apartment is right in the city center, with all the attractions within walking distance.
Very cozy! Sandra was very attentive, responded quickly, and was always in touch. Thank you.
- Demira23 (9/5): Neat and safe place - The apartment is very neat. You have all you may need for a few nights stay. There is a terrace where you can go out for air. The neighborhood area is quiet and we felt safe late at night. Unfortunately, there is no air-conditioning but it's alright when you open the window. However, we had an issue with flies and mosquitoes when we opened the window because there is no mosquito net. It might be a good idea for the owners to invest in one.
- Yulan (4/5): Disappointing - House The beauty of Budapest and the friendliness and warmth of its people left a very deep impression on me. I believe this has paved the way for my future visits to Hungary.
However, it is unfortunate that I chose this particular accommodation. My communication with the host revealed a less pleasant side of things, which almost ruined what was otherwise a delightful and wonderful trip.
Due to the language barrier, I reached out to the host a day before my arrival, very politely and courteously inquiring about details mainly concerning the location of the house so I could arrange my luggage and plan my trip. Unfortunately, I couldn't communicate with her through the booking platform and had to use WhatsApp. However, she always replied with voice messages in English instead of text. that that was difficult for me to understand, and I received almost no useful information.
Several hours later, when I arrived in Budapest, I still didn't know the exact location. I had to wander the streets of Budapest, dragging two pieces of luggage, aimless, embarrassed, and exhausted. The most frustrating part was when a local friend, out of kindness, offered to call the host to help resolve the issue. The host directly hung up the phone, giving no chance for communication. My first half-day in Budapest was extremely stressful. This kind friend felt very embarrassed and kept apologizing on behalf of Budapest residents.
When I left the apartment, the host messaged me asking for a rating of 9-10. In her final messages, there was not even a polite apology for the whole process or a courteous thank you for the requested high rating. I don't know what to say except that it is regrettable. I hope that next time I visit Budapest, I can stay with a host who communicates more effectively.
