Guest Reviews
- Marion (8/5): Enjoyable stay at Morrisett Cottage - The location was perfect. Nicely decorated home, with comfy beds, a lovely hot shower and we loved the fireplace. Would be happy to stay again. The door lock was really hard to see in the daylight, the kettle didn't turn off when boiling, the dishwasher leaked so we only used it once, some face washers would have been nice for the bathroom.
- Adam (9/5): - Great cottage suitable for large groups of people. Quiet location.
- sjl (8/5): Family get together - Lovely location and house was very spacious. Nothing really
- Melanie (8/5): Very nice with cleanliness and convenience, but seniors need to know about the spiral staircase. - Quiet and clean property conveniently located in a leafy setting. Modern decorations, large dining table, outdoor seating. Nice big beds. Nice bedding linnen. Backing out of the driveway with a thud onto the street - needs to be levelled out.
Key code system is awkward and has to be used every time re-entering after going out.
Spiral stairs not great for seniors.
Only had one bathmat to share for all guests.
- Matthew (10/5): Highly recommended when in the Blue Mountains - Great location and great house. Very peaceful and relaxing. Good for a group
- Jaimee (10/5): We had an amazing time in Blackheath. The kids loved the fireplace and local garden. - The location was perfect; close to amenities but also very quiet.
- Sharon (10/5): - Quiet, clean and comfortable
- Amy (10/5): Great accomodation, cosy and comfortable. - Great beds and shower. Property was larger than expected.
Beautiful outdoor areas and enough outdoor seating for everyone to enjoy meals outside.
Very much appreciated having enough supplies for our whole stay eg dishwashing liquid, dishwashing tablets, toilet paper.
- McGrath (9/5): - location lack of TV connection to free to air channels
- Horgosi (9/5): Enjoyed it. - Location, dark and quiet. The beds were a bit soft for 2 out of the 3.
You couldn't see the electronic key pad when it was in daylight. And even shading it was very little help and my eyes are still good
- Daniel (8/5): Comfortable stay in Morisset Cottage - Cosy cottage in a nice quiet street. Lovely gardens with flowers.
- Kristian (9/5): - Great value V other, similar places. Excellent location - quiet, yet close to lots. NA
- Ashler (10/5): Great few days away. Kids loved playing in the back yard. Would stay again - Clean and comfortable.
- Peter (7/5): Good - A nice quiet location. Ducted/central heating didn't work.
Very limited supply of firewood.
Previous occupants used laundry sat on deck for our 3 night stay.
Duct outlet near the front door was a hazard.
- Xinlu (10/5): Exceptional - location
- Normtrooper (9/5): Great location and comfortable appointments. If we return to Blackheath will definitely stay again. - The location was great. Quiet as well. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. The television was hard to use. The choice of channels was tied in with the brand of TV. Access to free to air was lacking, tried to use the Nine, 7+ apps etc. and that didn't work.
- Jan (8/5): Pleasant. - Location (very quiet). Close to shops, cafes and bush walks. No place to hang wet bath towels for 4 people; plenty of bare space on the shower room wall to install towel racks.
Key pad very difficult to read in the afternoon due to angle of the sun, some kind of shade in that area would fix the problem.
- Cheryl (8/5): Very good - Great having only double or queen size beds, suited our adult family perfectly Would have been great to have a large platter or 2 to create a large cheese / charcutterie board.
Also a large bowl for a salad.
- Annabel (8/5): Modern , clean and cosy mountain cottage - Nice spacious bedrooms, very clean. Lots of towels provided and hangers plus some food essentials. Great location and some wild kangaroos a few doors away . Modern cottage and very pleasant mountain stay. Great big tv and games table for kids. Nothing
- Susan (9/5): Comfortable, clean and well located. - N/A
- Susan (8/5): Comfortable home, comfortable beds, away from the hustle and bustle - Love the location, high up and quiet. The owner had prepped the fireplace ready for us to light, a nice touch.
- Mcnulty (10/5): Exceptional - The house was amazing, exactly like the pictures. Everything we needed was there and the heating was great. The hosts were great at responding and very kind. Would 100% recommend. Nothing
