The reviews you see first are clearly a cover-up!!! NOTHING!!! the bed in the front room and sofa bed are full of bed bugs, the fridge freezer is so frosted up it's just a joke, the hallway carpet looks so awful with stains, the wardrobe cupboard had dirty towels and rubbish from the previous tennants and well the walls, I have no idea what was on them!!!!!..... And needless to say, I wouldnt dare to use anything inside any cupboards as I dread to think what may have crawled in there or what was used to clean the stuff that is inside them!!!! On first impressions, you could say ok, well.im here for a night. What's the worst that could happen? The shower and toilet did at least work and were clean enough to use, but everything else was a complete NO, and PEST CONTROL is an absolute must. Do not trust this apartment at all or the person that meets you or even the person that rings to see if everything is ok as they clearly dont care and take no responsibility for any of this..... I am completly saddened to think that the owner thinks it's acceptable to rent this apartment out knowing there are bed bugs present. Quite frankly, I am disgusted that you are taking money from genuine people who believe you are offering a service to provide a safe and clean space for both adults and children to sleep. This is not ok at all, and I will continue to request a refund to compensate for such unprofessional behaviour, report you to your council and leave reviews where people can see them.

• Patwant (2/5): Dirty apartment not ideal for families with young kids - The young guy who was taking care of check was nice and helped us with our luggage checking in and out. Absolutely filthy apartment. Needs a deep cleaning from top to bottom. We found bugs in the bed our first night there. We requested sheets for the pull out sofa every night and didn’t get them by the time we left. We wouldn’t recommend this place at all for anyone that has a small child or difficulty getting up or down steps. It was up two steep and narrow flights or stairs and having to take a pram up and down those stairs is difficult.
• RAHUL (1/5): "waste of time" - overall bad experience I recently stayed at the Wonderful London Apartments Hotel and was quite disappointed with my experience. The check-in process was chaotic, and I had to wait over 2hrs to get my room, which was frustrating after a long journey. When I finally got to my room, I found it to be unclean, with dust on the surfaces and a musty smell. The air conditioning was also not working properly, making it uncomfortable to sleep.

• carol (1/5): SCAMMERS - Time out of the apartment exploring London THIS APARTMENT THAT IS BEING ADVERTISED IS NOT THE SAME ONE THAT YOU WILL STAY IN AND THE CONDITION YOU FIND IT IN, AGAIN IS NOTHING LIKE THE PHOTOS! THE FILTH IN THIS APARTMENT WAS ANOTHER LEVEL OF GROSSNESS! I WAS CONTACTED BY THE ORGANISER AFTER OUR STAY ASKED IF WE ENJOYED IT AND I PROCEEDED TO EXPLAIN THE FILTH, THE BROKEN PARTS OF THE APARTMENT AND NOT WORKING ASPECTS! HE SAID WE SHOULD HAVE ASKED FOR A CLEANER. I STATED I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO, THE APARTMENT SHOULD BE CLEAN BEFORE ARRIVAL. TVS DIDN'T WORK, "FREE WIFI" DIDNT EXIST! THE SMELL COMING FROM THE EXTRACTOR FAN WAS FOUL! BROKEN AND HANGING OFF LIGHTS, SMEARED DIRT ON MULTIPLE WALLS, THICK LAYERS OF DUST, I HAVE MORE PHOTOS AND VIDEOS TO PROVE THIS APARTMENT IS NOT THE SAME AS THE ONE ADVERTISED! • Kristiina (3/5): - Very good location (Central London, zone 1) with two London Underground stations and a small play area / outdoor workout area in about 10 minutes walking distance and a local grocery store (Tesco Express) in 5 minutes walking distance. The apartment had a good layout and a nice kitchen setup. Plenty of room. Nice light blocking curtains. Very good Wifi. The staff met us on the property exactly as agreed. The property could use some proper cleaning! There were bed bugs in the apartment! I find it totally unacceptable. Unfortunately that ruined the whole experience. I would never recommend a place with bed bugs to anyone!

• LisaJenkinson (1/5): Would not recommend. Bed in living area had bed bugs! - Did report issue with a leak under sink which was looked at straight away but issue still remained. Apartmemt was unclean and had so much potential to be great. Unfortunately, it appears the bed in the living room had bed bugs as my friend has come out in spots and not just a couple! Looking for hairdryer, found in kitchen cupboard! Drawers in bedroom still had rubbish from previous occupants. Shower head not clean and was unpleasant in the shower as it appeared very dirty.

• Iain (3/5): Glad it was only one night. Functional for a central London base I guess, but nothing more. - None of the 23 images on the listing were of our apartment. You have been warned. WiFi didn't work. One TV had no signal, with lack of working WiFi it was unwatchable. The other TV had no remote!! We searched everywhere seriously. Therefore also unwatchable. Sofa badly needs a replacing, badly stained. Chewing gum on the floor. Only one toilet roll provided.

We didn’t realise you had to contact prior to arrival so check your emails!! Host was super understanding though and we got checked in super fast despite us not giving any prior notice to arrival We only stayed for a night and it definitely did the job, bathroom and room was clean just some minor faults with the bath plug getting stuck /mirror was cracked, but nothing to actually affect our stay and these could easily be sorted for future stays Would recommend if you’re looking for a short stay, room had all amenities like toilet roll/cleaning products/ towels etc and checkin time advertised was good. Room was also very spacious and had a little outdoor area which was cool there was some tiny faults in the room as mentioned above but nothing major, overall was worth what we paid

• Agaile (1/5): Extremely Disappointing Stay – Not Worth the Money - Nothing I rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience at this property in London was truly unacceptable. The apartment was not cleaned properly before our arrival. To make matters worse, we encountered bed bugs, which was a serious health and hygiene issue. The kettle was moldy, looking like it hadn’t been cleaned in ages, and the microwave didn’t work at all. The saucepan was unusable, with its non-stick coating completely gone, making cooking impossible and unsafe. Additionally, the air conditioning unit failed in the middle of the night and started leaking water, making it very uncomfortable and disturbing our sleep. The layout of the apartment is also inconvenient – although it’s on the first floor, there are stairs inside leading to the bedrooms, which is far from ideal, especially for guests with heavy luggage or mobility concerns. Overall, this stay was far below expectations, and I would not recommend this place to anyone until serious improvements are made.

• Aaron von Lippke (8/5): Super Gastgeber aber London ist einfach teuer. - Die Lage war sehr gut. Für dass wir so kurzfristig gebucht haben, war der Preis wohl noch in Ordnung. Der Gastgeber war sehr zuvorkommen und hilfsbereit! So wurde das Bettzeug nachträglich gewechselt und der Kühlschrank gutwillig, wenn auch sehr pragmatisch gereinigt. Die Grösse der Wohung war wirklich super. Ich kann aber nur von jener Wohnung sprechen, die wir hatten: Die "Beste" zumal ich durch meine Allergien ansonsten wohl grosse Mühen gehabt hätte. Sehr dankbar waren wir ebenfalls, dass wir die Koffern noch nach dem Check-out dort lassen konnten (wenn zumal auch hier alles etwas "zu locker" angegangen wurde). Wlan war echt super! [Zusätzliche Punkte: Wir mussten keine Kaution oder dergleichen nachträglich und/oder mit Bargeld hinterlegen. Die Wohung befindet sich in einem muslimischen Quartier. Wer damit ein Problem hat, sollte sich woanders umschauen. Wer das allerdings neutral oder positiv findet, dem kann ich diesen Ort umso mehr ans Herz legen.] Wir sind nicht die Pingeligsten, dennoch dürfen wir für einen vierstelligen Betrag eine gewisse Erwartung haben: Sauberkeit wird kein hoher Stellenwert gegeben. Das Bettzeug wurde nicht gewechselt, zumal (lange, blonde) Haare auf dem Bett waren. Der Kühlschrank war ebenfalls sehr dreckig und stank. Dieser ist allerdings nach Inbetriebnahme wieder gegangen. Wie gesagt, kann ich nicht bestätigen, was andere Bewertungen gesagt haben, da diese wohl nicht in den Genuss unserer Unterkunft kamen. Dennoch waren wir sehr froh und dankbar, dass wir von ihnen "vorgewarnt" wurden und daher unsere eigene Bettwäsche mitgebracht haben (Kissen nehme ich immer mit, aber hier haben wir noch Leintücher etc. zusätzlich gepackt.) Die fehlenden Fernbedienungen für TV und Klimaanlage waren in unserem Fall nicht so schlimm, da wir immer ein Apple TV mitbringen und die "Einstellungen" der Klima gerade passten. [Zusätzlicher Punk: Kein Lift, also daher nichts für Leute mit beeinträchtigungen oder zu schweren Koffern]

• Maria Jose (4/5): Akzeptables Appartment, aber leider sehr unsauber! - Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war sehr gut. Schlüsselübergabe war kein Problem, auch konnten wir am Abreisetag noch die Koffer im Appartment bis 15.00h stehen lassen. Danke, noch mal! Auch wurde auf unsere Anfragen oder Bitten sehr schnell reagiert. Wir hatten ein ein-Raum Apartment, für 4 Personen, es sah noch relativ neu aus. Lage ist ist aufgrund der Nähe zur U-Bahn ganz ok. Supermarkt auch in der Nähe. Leider überhaupt nicht sauber! Matrazen schmutzig, Decken muffelig, Schränke staubig und ungepflegt, so dass man nichts hinein legen konnte. Zwischen Bett und Nachttisch lag noch eine Plastikflasche. Die alte Wäsche aus den Appartments lag 4 Tage lang im Flur, keiner hat sie abgeholt, wir mussten jedes Mal, wenn wir in unser Appartment gingen, den Anblick der schmutzigen Bettwäsche und Handtücher hinnehmen. Schade um das Apartment. Sauberkeit ist das Mindeste, was man vorfinden möchte. Wirklich nicht zu empfehlen.
• Vel (4/5): Its quite disappointing overall, but the person answered all of our queries. - The apartment was not clean, there were n number of flies inside the apartment and lot of noises in the night and AC was producing sound quite often. Tv remote did not had battery with sufficient charge. Had trouble finding the way to use the tv. Utensils kept in kitchen were having lot of hairs. Even the towel and sofa bed offered to me had lot of hairs in it. Initially we were asked to wait in small apartment until the one what we booked made available(more than 2 hours we were waiting in that apartment). That was kind of clean compared to the one what offered to us. Overall it was disappointing experience.

It didn’t match the property description and the pictures showed on the booking.com Very dirty and everything needs cleaning up and fixing. Very bad smell in the toilet. Had two sets of flights to climb with very small kids and nothing was really provided in the apartment compared to other places I was staying.

I arrived with my 17 months old Baby who was quite cranky and the Host helped us with our luggages and made sure we settled in well. I shall definitely be booking a stay with this Host again. • Marie (10/5): Marie Sekaninová - Prostě Londýn! Naše zamilované město, jezdíme pravidelně a pořád je co objevovat. Takže znovu... prostě Londýn! Letecká společnost Ryanair, máme už zkušenosti, takže zvládame, ale je to mizerný, bohužel nutný, způsob dopravy. Což vy, samozřejmě, napravit nemůžete.

• Luisa (9/5): Genial anfitrión y bien situado - Está a 20 min andando de la Torre de Londres y a 30 min en transporte público de Trafalgar Square. Tienes un supermercado a 5 min andando y una parada de bus a 5 min también. Además, el precio fue muy competitivo. Al principio nos dijeron de hacer el check out a las 10 h, lo cual me pareció un poco pronto. Pero hablando con el anfitrión nos dejó una hora más. El barrio al principio no parece seguro, pero no hemos tenido ningún problema.
• luigi_cantone (5/5): - L'host è stato molto disponibile e celere nel rispondermi sia quando ho riscontrato alcuni problemi che quando avevo qualche domanda. Il check-in/check-out è facile e veloce e l'appartamento, tutto sommato, era di dimensioni adeguate ad una piccola famiglia. Da segnalare che a due passi da casa si trovano svariati mini market per fare un po' di spesa. Purtroppo le cose che non ci sono piaciute sono molte, ma la più importante è sicuramente quella relativa alla poca pulizia trovata al momento dell'arrivo. L'appartamento aveva proprio l'aria di essere stato curato molto poco. Non vi erano sufficienti stoviglie per tutti, padelle e pentole con fondo scrostato ed in generale un senso di "stantio" che non mi sarei aspettato di trovare. L'appartamento si trova a qualche minuto dalle fermate di Whitchapel e Aldgate, ma il quartiere non è dei più belli, anzi è mal tenuto ed a tratti inquietante. Fortunatamente nelle giornate in cui abbiamo soggiornato noi vi era molta polizia che pattugliava anche le stradine interne.

Secador, lavadora, plancha y útiles de cocina, frigorífico. Nos habían dejado mistol, lejia baño, bolsas de basura, geles, café, sal, aceite....Agua caliente en condiciones. Horno sucio con patatas añejas. Sistema de calefacción-agua caliente ruidoso, sobre todo a la noche. Un día entraron en nuestro apartamento otros clientes mientras cenábamos por equivocación de las llaves. Faltaba escoba, aunque si había aspirador. La cortina de la habitación falta arreglar. En el suelo de la cocina hay una junta de un perfil en pico un poco peligrosa.

• maxipapay (10/5): Gran semana en Londres - El apartamento ha sido genial. Limpio, buenos servicios de calefacción, agua caliente, frigorífico, horno, todo perfecto. La ubicación a 350 mts de la estación de metro Whitechapel y a 400 de East Aldgate. Le agregaría un par de almohadas más pero todo excelente. La comunicación con el anfitrión no fue la mejor. Luego de no darme la dirección exacta y pedirme que lo llame a 10 minutos de llegar, nada. Al momento de llegar a la calle (pero no sabiendo que número) lo llamo y el teléfono estaba apagado, le envío un Whatsapp y no le llegaban los mensajes (sólo un tilde). Realemente la pasé mal, pensé que me habían estafado y yo con 3 niños y casi de noche. Luego me respondió al 5to llamado y me dio las indicaciones. ES ALGO QUE DEBE MEJORAR. ESPERO LE SIRVA

• Emir (1/5): Man hat Angst mit mehr als nur mit seinem Gepäck nach Hause zurückzukehren! Wer diese Unterkunft bucht sollte Desinfekti - Lage war ok, man kam relativ zügig zu den öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel Stationen. Absolut unhygienisch! Alles sehr dreckig. Vermutlich wurde nicht mal die Bettwäsche für uns gewechselt.Die Unterkunft wurde wahrscheinlich die letzten 2 Jahre nicht gereinigt. Eine Zumutung sowas als „Gäste Unterkunft“ zu vermieten und dafür auch noch zu bezahlen. Wir werden dieses Apartment definitiv nicht mehr buchen!

• Nieves (10/5): Estancia en el apartamento - Relación calidad-precio muy buena, bien ubicado con parada de bus y metro cerca (10 minutos andando aproximadamente), supermercado cerca. Tiene todo lo necesario para una estancia corta en Londres. Anfitrión muy amable y puntual a la hora de recoger las llaves. Nos gustó todo, pero sí que es verdad que las almohadas no eran muy cómodas y se agradecería un poco más de limpieza en el apartamento, pero no era nada exagerado. Como he dicho, todo estaba correcto para el precio que tenía.

• Sylwia (7/5): Good place for a short stay - Good location, friendly owner, easy check in and check out, spacious bedroom Tv remotes hardly working so we couldn't watch TV, the house needs renovation and deep clean. Windows are to replace as we could hear noise from the street and it was cold despite working heating. Lack of many kitchen utensils for more people. A bit difficult to use a shower, there is only a tall waterfall shower head
