• Kathleen (10/5): Tolle preiswerte, zentrale Unterkunft mit erstklassigem Frühstück - Alles hat uns gefallen. Die Lage war sehr zentral. Das Frühstück war sehr vielfältig. Wir konnten etwas bestellen und hatten dabei 11 Essen mit unterschiedlichen Zeitfenstern zur Wahl. Das früheste Zeitfenster war 7:30 - 8:00. Das konnte nicht immer eingehalten werden, daher erhielten wir die Möglichkeit ins Pura Vida ab 7:00 - 10:00 zu gehen. Dort wurden wir sehr nett bedient. Auf jegliche Anfrage wurde vom Gastgeber sehr schnell und kompetent reagiert. Es war eine sehr ruhige Unterkunft in einer Nebenstraße. Man hatte alles war man braucht. Die Tür ließ sich schwer öffnen.
• Martyna (2/5): Very disappointing experience. I will never stay here again. - The location is quite good – close to the city center. For just one night, it’s not the worst option The main downside is the breakfast – or rather, the lack of it. It was supposed to be delivered to our door, but despite waiting literally at the door even longer than the estimated delivery time, it never arrived. Unfortunately, the apartment staff chose to pretend the problem didn’t exist, implying that the guests must be deaf or stupid for not hearing any knocking or ringing. Absolutely unprofessional behavior. In the end, we left Athens without breakfast, hungry before a long flight, and having wasted our time waiting for something that never came. The view from the apartment is also quite depressing. I would strongly advise against using the elevator – no one from the staff warned us about it, but thankfully, the staff from the neighboring massage studio told us not to get in, especially with luggage, as it could end badly. So we had to squeeze up to the 3rd floor through narrow, winding stairs. Overall, not a place I’d recommend.

• Στέφανος (7/5): - The host was great. He was very helpful when we got confused about the location. He mindfully walked us through finding the location. The apt. was central and cleaned well. The host was quick to answer any questions that came up. The building elevator had a stench. The host explained that there had a back-up with building toilets 3 days earlier. This is not on the host. Its a building issue which we smelled anytime we took elevator.

• Jonathan (7/5): Alojamiento amplio en el corazón de Atenas - El alojamiento destacó por su amplitud. Tiene una cama de matrimonio en la habitación principal y otra cama amplia justo a la entrada (en lo que sería el salón). Ambas “habitaciones” tienen aire acondicionado cosa que se agradece mucho. Está reformado y muy limpio. Recomendaría este alojamiento por su tamaño, comodidad y localización. El servicio de desayuno sin duda. El desayuno funciona con reserva previa a través de otra empresa. En su web seleccionas el tipo de desayuno que quieres y la franja horaria a la que deseas que se te entregue. Hay que reservar siempre antes de las 22:00h del día antes. Nosotros nos alojamos tres días, haciendo la reserva siempre en hora cómo se nos indicó. NINGUNO de los días el desayuno se entregó en la franja horaria indicada con lo que tuvimos que retrasar nuestras visitas a la ciudad. Incluso perder alguna visita programada. De hecho el último día no llegó nunca el desayuno y no pudimos desayunar. Además, por esperar a que llegara nuestro desayuno perdimos nuestro traslado al siguiente destino. La calidad y cantidad de los desayunos está muy bien pero el servicio es pésimo. Al reclamar esto nos decían siempre que los retrasos se debían al tráfico. De saber que a esa hora hay mucho tráfico consideramos que se debería de tener en cuenta y ser previsores, asegurado un buen servicio de entrega.

• Daniel (10/5): - No se me ocurre una ubicación mejor en Atenas. Un apartamento perfecto, limpio, amplio, casi todo nuevo y en el centro de Atenas. Además el propietario no se pudo comportar mejor. Tuvimos un problema importante y nos lo solucionó en apenas unos minutos. Ideal para alojarse en Atenas

• Ivan (1/5): The worst experience. Bed was infested with bed bugs. Worst customer service - We booked a room for three nights at Ulysses Apartments Syntagma. I arrived at night, and within minutes of our arrival, we discovered a nest of bed bugs; the bed was infested. I immediately contacted the owner to request a different room, but he informed me that he couldn't assist until the following day. I couldn't let my wife and son stay in such conditions, so I had to take a taxi and secure another hotel for three nights in the middle of the night, incurring additional costs for last-minute accommodations. I sent videos and photos to Ulysses Apartments Syntagma, requesting reimbursement for the hotel relocation. As anticipated, he did not offer any solutions. Instead, he insisted that I return to the room at 11 am the next day to show him personally where the bed bugs were, despite having already provided him with evidence. I was unwilling to interrupt my vacation to demonstrate what needed to be addressed in the room, as I had already sent him proof. The following afternoon, he texted me stating, "we checked the apartment and of course there was nothing." He disregarded the evidence I provided and continued to assert that there was no issue. I hope the owner engages professional pest control services to clean the room so that future guests do not experience the same ordeal I faced. Furthermore, Ulysses Apartments Syntagma must reevaluate their business practices; the lack of support and concern for their customers is among the worst I have encountered. Given that Ulysses Apartments Syntagma refused to provide a solution for the extra expenses I incurred for my last-minute accommodations, I had no choice but to contact my credit card provider to dispute a refund for the three nights I paid for, of which I did not even stay a full night.

I can't count the number of emails I received re thus booking. Bed very uncomfortable, water doesn't drain in the shower, shelf broken in the room

• Roberto (6/5): Would not choose it again - Location is good, close to Acropolis, the museum and restaurants. Also Plaka district is close. Small, not what you expect when you go for an apartment. Central control of everything quite unnerving. Bedroom is invaded by a ridiculous living room superstructure that takes away space. No space to have dinner. Property was changed a day before arrival, we had chosen Syntagma.

• Teresa (8/5): Fantastic place to stay for a short break. Would stay there again! - Fantastic central location for seeing the sights of Athens. Modern, clean bright apartment. Air conditioning in both rooms. Wifi excellent. Lift up to the 3rd floor. Access by phone app worked perfectly We wanted to cook more- but whilst there is a bit of cutlery there are no sharp knives, can openers, wooden spoons/serving spoons, oven gloves etc so meant we were very limited as to what we could cook.

The bed was comfortable and the area really convenient for Syntagma Square and walking to the Plaka, Roman Agora etc. Didn't like the "key" system, working from an app. It worked, took a bit for me to work it out, just prefer keys.

• Ourania (7/5): Good - The location is excellent, off Ermou street between Symtagma and Monastiraki. The appartment has recently been renovated, so in excellent condition and clean. Also breakfast at PURA VIDA was excellent. Actually PURA VIDA adds value to this appartment. The owner was very responsive to messages. The appartment is on the 3rd floor (but in reality on 4th). The lift was NOT working for our entire stay (4 days). We notified owner and he said it was going to be fixed but it never did. Should we had any mobility problems, the apprtment would not have been accessible at all. The owner knew about the lift and did not warn us or at least let us know about it just in case we had any mobility issues. Also on Sunday, PURA VIDA is closed and we were not able to have our breakfast. The owner said he will refund us for this. The owner said it was because of the bank holiday but he PURA VIDA staff told us that they are always closed on Sundays. So if you book with brrakfast on Sunday, you will not get it.
