They do not get along well with people and cannot communicate even they don't have good service. The house was very bad and unclean.

Upon entering the room I took pictures right away and reached out to owner. It took a hour for a response and only after I phoned them. by this time I had found other accommodation as it was 6:30 pm already. The owner said someone could meet me and when I said I would like a refund they denied me that and said they offered to have someone clean it and that their cleaning staff said the unit was cleaned prior to my arrival. If that was the case I feel that someone else other than me had access to this unit in the mean time. SAFETY was a major concern. A customer should not have to wait to have the room cleaned. Unacceptable do not stay here the owner is refusing to refund me! Horrible business

The day we were to arrive we were asked to etransfer our deposit to the owner. We were suspicious and contacted Expedia who said they would check into it and then never got back to us. It was eventually figured out but we didn’t get into the rental until 1.5 hours after check in and it caused a lot of stress.

- Akash (2/5): - After the Expedia booking, which was supposed to be the total cost of the booking. The company managing this bnb asked for us to scan and upload id, credit card, and enter a credit card for the deposit. Well on the day of the check in when i was about to get on my flight, all of a sudden they needed a bank transfer for the deposit and they said they would keep part of the deposit as a processing fee. I then had to zelle the money and have yet to get my security deposit back. They are quick to give you many reasons why they will cancel your booking without a refund. Also, the place was old, the bathroom door did not have a lock, kept getting stuck, and even popped out of the door, leaving me inside.
- Lee (2/5): If having no spoons was the only issue… - PRO: Convenient downtown location. Walking distance to nearby shopping, grocery stores, Rogers Centre, attractions and waterfront. CONS: 1. Processing security deposit and not releasing detailed check-in information until just prior to arrival (same day). 2. Access to parking space in garage was with a key fob. However, the key fob wasn’t activating the parking garage; company didn’t fix despite multiple calls and appointment. We ended up paying for a public parking garage during our stay. 3. Service people entered apartment for dryer vent cleaning during our stay without prior notice from the management. 4. Unit management does not respond to questions and we were not allowed to contact concierge or risk losing cancellation of booking, which was nonrefundable. 5. Condition is not luxury accommodations as advertised: (a) 4th bedroom had an incomplete and shoddily-constructed wall with thin sheets of melamine and exposed 2x4s. Also the wall does not go to the ceiling, (b) door hinge on master bedroom door is not attached to door frame, (c) outside patio is not well-maintained due to tall weeds growing, (d) shower rod held in place with waded up paper towel. 6. No spoons provided.

- Verified traveler (2/5): Absolute Appalling! Avoid this place at all costs - Booked this apartment-style rental the evening before planned arrival. I paid in full through hotels.com like usually. Everything seemed fine… until the next morning. There I received an email demanding a photo of my government-issued ID and a photo of my credit card and a bank wire transfer of an exuberant amount as a damage deposit. No reputable hotel or short-term rental would ever demand a wire transfer for a deposit, especially not without prior warning or visibility on the booking site. Wire transfers are non-refundable, unprotected, and impossible to reverse. There’s no fraud protection like with a credit card hold, and of course, the money would never have arrived in time anyway. When I declined to wire the deposit, they refused to grant me access to the room. They also refused to issue a refund, hiding behind internal “policies” that are not visible or disclosed on Hotels.com at the time of booking. I later read reviews from other travelers stating that they hadn't received their deposit back, even weeks later. I was forced to book a room in a different hotel last minute. The whole experience feels like a predatory trap designed to exploit unsuspecting guests. It flirts with the line of outright fraud without technically crossing it, and it’s disgraceful that this is even allowed on a major platform. Do not book here unless you enjoy sending your most sensitive data via unsecured and being extorted.

Parking had to run up into the room to grab a clicker to open the garage, and finding the spot was a nightmare. Apartment was fine for the stay as we were going out most of the time. Pet hair was everywhere, stains on the couch seats, stools were very wobbly, a cupboard arm was not attached to the wall. I did not take photos because I assumed this was a reputable company would know the condition of their apartment. Upon checking in they informed us that the credit system they use for deposits did not work and they needed an e-transfer, was leary of doing so, but ended up sending 450$ as we needed a place to stay, we were already driving on the way. Checked out and waited a few days for refund. Called a couple times was told it takes a few days to process. After 1.5 weeks I called again and they informed me the cleaning crew said I brought a dog and it pooped in the apartment so they will not be giving me my deposit back. We did not bring a dog and there was definitely no poop when we left. We ensured the apartment was left in clean condition by sweeping and washing/drying dishes. Do not recommend staying here this seems like a scam to keep 450$.

It was downtown but in a very quiet & safe area, had a convenient area for Uber to pick me up and drop me off at, and the surrounding area had a little bit of everything amenity wise. I will be staying here again when I find myself travelling to the GTA.

- Janet & Garrett (4/5): - We booked the property for a group of 5 of us for 4 nights, we were a group with 1 couple, and 3 single guys, so we made sure to book a place with 4 beds (although just 2 bedrooms, it listed 2 beds in the living room). We were charged an extra $50 per night per person for everyone in the group over 3 (so an extra charge of $400 total), which we were ok with seeing as how everyone would get a bed. We arrived and outside our unit's door in the hallway was multiple holes all over the baseboard, then we stepped through the front door and there was another 8 or more holes approx 4"x8" each! After a quick walkthrough we realized there was only 3 beds. We immediately texted the property manager and got no responses. One of the guys agreed to take some cushions and make a bed on the floor, and we assured him we would make sure to get a refund back for him as we were grossly mislead. Next we had a very confusing time trying to understand how the fob works (you have to press a button to activate the elevator) as there was no directions anywhere on how to use it, I had to embarrassingly ask a stranger in the elevator what was I doing wrong. I went to my bathroom and was shocked at how grimy and dirty the ceiling fan was. I have back problems and a hot bath always helps, so our first morning there I went to go use the bathtub, but the drain plug had been tampered with and made having a bath impossible. Overall, other then those things, the cleanliness of the place was decent.

What we didn't like: The apartment was not the one advertissed when we booked. It was supposed to be a corner unit with paronamic view. The picture didn't match the posting but still a nice place. The plumbing was not draining properly. The drain in the shower was clogged and the bathroom sink drained slowly. It was not very clean, mould in the bathtub, a lot of dust on the furnitures but the kitchen was okay. No salt, no pepper, no sugar. Lots of coffee though. Parking was hard to access, P1 was easy to locate but no instruction for P2 level. I would recomment giving more instructions on how to access the parking spot. Overall, we enjoyed and liked our stay regardless of the things we didn't like. The location couldn't be better. The guest was accessible and responded very quickly. Still recommended the place!

- Verified traveler (6/5): Reconsider unless you only care about location! - Great location right downtown and prompt communication via text except the information we received was contradictory to the ad, last minute, and very frustrating. All of the ads say that there is free self parking which is NOT true- I was told last minute I needed to pay extra if I want to park. Total money grab as other reviews state the same experience. This was after I did the pre check in a few days before and paid extra for early check in (2pm instead of 5) and was informed only halfway into my drive to Toronto that it was not available so had to rearrange plans and specifically paid for early check in to get to our show in time. Coffee maker didn’t work, beds were decent not great, and there could be a few maintenance things done like clean windows, better climate control (was very hot despite putting ac on) and an overall deep clean of the unit. Balcony had a mouldy chair and a broken chair with filthy windows

After booking, paying for the room and giving my deposit, the day of the booking the management team texted me saying the deposit went from increased which was not in the agreement. They ended up comprising to a lower cost, but to bring that up last min was not professional. Then the door code they gave me didn't work and the parking spot they gave me was not right as I had a not on my car saying I parked in someones spot and I should leave cash for them as they could have had my car towed. The communication was horrible. Didn't have a good experience

After you book whit hotels.com there is an other long and sketchy process with the appartment managers. You have to enter personal info, picture of ID, credit card info.. But after that, they will tell you that the system has a problem and that you have to leave the 500$ deposit by e-transfer. If you do, you are doomed. tons of back and forth by phone, email, text messages. completely disorganised. But when you get there.. oh... appartments are not cleaned. hair all over the bathroom ( and not long hair you know... ) pictures do not represent at all the reality. they will show you pictures of a nice bed, but you only see half of it. When you get there you realise that the bed is in the living room. Dividers made out of studs and wood. They agreed to move us to another appartment. not much better. had to ask the lady to do some basic cleaning, etc.. no toaster, etc.. But you know, what ? you are doomed, because they have your cash deposit from the e-transfer. try to argue after that... Lucky for us, our bank had blocked the transfer because the management try to deposit in a different account than the info supplied originally. If you value peace of mind, pay a bit more and find something else. PS: I will spare you the pictures taken in case you are having dinner..

- Michele (2/5): Really stressful experience - This was one of the worst stays I've ever had. The biggest issue was being told by the manager that we had to pay for parking even though the listing clearly states it's free parking on site. They argued with me; I had to pay for it since we didn't have an alternative once we arrived. (I ultimately got reimbursed with the help of Hotels.com - but shouldn't have to have spent any time on that.) There are no actual "bedrooms." One had a glass wall, and the other had no wall, just out in the open, so no privacy. No curtains or shades on the windows facing outside. No cookware for the oven at all - there was no sheet pan to heat anything up or cook anything. The stove cooktop did not work. There was only one pot and pan, which we couldn't use because the stovetop didn't work. There were no instructions at the apartment for anything. When I asked how to buzz Doordash up (we were on the 28th floor), I was told, "Food deliveries are not encouraged," - so for any food deliveries, you have to meet them in the lobby. Getting into the building and parking is not clear or easy. Very loud noise from the hallway and above us. Not enough sheets and towels. No washcloths or hand towels. No hand or bar soap in kitchen. No bar soap in the bathroom or shower. The toilet flush is weak and runs out of water immediately. The balcony is disgustingly dirty. The location is great. Outside of that, I would never stay here again.

This major issue was not the only disturbing thing; The smell was so bad when I stepped foot in the place. There was holes in the walls and a TV standing on a stool in the room. There was food in the sink. I tried to call the property contact several times and they would tell me that they would call me back but they made no efforts in resolving any issues or reassuring me about the way the property was rented to me. I ended up missing business meetings and being so stressed out. I had to rent another place and I asked if I could check out early. The property representative ignored my calls and messages several times leaving me in complete distress. I still am in shock that they would rent a place in such a condition. The place was filthy

There are multiple reviews saying the same experience. DON’T BOOK HERE. There was also a child’s toothbrush left in the bathroom and toys so who knows if they even cleaned the room.
- Morgan (2/5): - CAUTION These people make you send payments off-site, they lie to you, don't refund deposits, avoid answering phone calls and try to kick the can down the road long enough hoping that you'll give up and not try to get your money back. Avoid at all costs. Besides stealing my money, they made me sit outside the hotel for half of an hour because they gave me a buzzer code that didn't work. They then changed my room last minute - a room that was locked and unable to be opened. I sat on the hallway floor for another 30 minutes waiting for some response. They eventually moved me to a room on another floor. They showed no remorse or sympathy, in-fact they some how were looking for me to show appreciation for an extra bed that I never asked for and didn't need. Just a wholly awful experience and beyond unethical and criminal operation. Avoid at all costs - the $50 savings on the property isn't worth the time waste to try and get your money back -- not sure if I ever will.
- Allecia (2/5): - They are scammers. They are selling rooms that doesn’t belong to them. When we got to the place it was an apartment that people live and there was nobody to talk to us. We didn’t get to see the room, had had to book another room at an hotel. It was awful but thank God Expedia refunded our money back.
- Lorington (6/5): No Lake view and Paid Parking - The condo was clean with all the key amenities. Overall we had a good time with our downtown weekend. My dissatisfaction is two-fold, I should have been more specific with my requests. The view from the condo was not the waterfront side of the building but the railroad tracks. And I was driving in so I requested parking, but it was not on-site but two blocks away and required additional payments. The booking should have made these things clear

- David (2/5): - Most of the light bulbs were out, thermostat wouldn’t turn the heat down was 87 degrees. Towel rack loose from the wall poor water pressure. Poor explanation in email for checkin ended up in the wrong room due to mistake on their part/ asked to book another night which was agreed upon at 11 on original check out security walked in the room without knocking while in the shower seen my wife naked . Terrible customer service experience

- Verified traveler (4/5): - The WiFi did not work. Very mediocre apartment. A fire hazard. If there is an inspection it will not pass. Don't waste your money in this property
- todd (6/5): - Condo needs updating walls were dirty and a inch of dust on top of light in bathroom. Flooring has big gaps in it covered with carpet so for the price there is better places. Positive is good view of water and planes taking off from Billy Bishop airport
- Anne Florence (10/5): Amazing! - This condo was perfect for a peaceful, well-organized stay. The check-in instructions were clear, and the space was clean, modern, and very comfortable. Plus, the views from the 26th floor were stunning, and the location made it easy to access downtown within minutes, adding to the overall convenience!

- Vishrut (2/5): - Worst experience of my life! The temperature in the unit was 28 degrees and in spite of repeated attempts , they told me that it was a building policy And they could do nothing about it . I could not sleep the entire 3 nights because of this. There were spiders in the unit as well. In addition, the TV didn’t work at all from day one. They did not do anything to help me through this entire ordeal.

- Khusro (10/5): - Neal was awesome and joe as well everything was immaculate in every manner from checking in to checking out very smooth but unfortunately i had to check out in 3 hours due to a family emergency so couldn’t enjoy it fully but always a next time i guess

- Li (4/5): - Close to downtown convenience to travel. Fairly quiet for apartment. Parking lot and entry into condo was complicated. Clear instructions were not given until communicating with management. Took an hour just to enter into condo. Condo was very dirty. Bed sheets were not changed with crumbs all over the bed. Bathroom was not cleaned at all with hairs in the shower and black mold on tiles. Last renters belonging were still in the bathroom with no organization. Bathroom smelled unpleasant.

- Blessilda (10/5): - Good location. Parking was a bit confusing. Some fobs scan, vs IR, so it would be good to be specific how to operate the fob. Also would be good to specify that parking the first one around the corner and the residential parking is on the right gate immediately after the ramp. P2 is not visible from the entry. Otherwise, check in and check out was smooth. The property was nice and clean. The towels must be new (?), the fibers shed. Would be nice to have body soap if no bar soap is provided. The property mgr checked in, once after we got in, which was good.
- Arturo (8/5): - Great location, enough space for 4-6 people Kitchen is small and will need more blankets, especially for the winter. Very solid spot.
- Jason (8/5): - The hotel gave me parking that was included after calling Expedia to sort it out, as they refused to help me out initially. Cost me almost 4 hours of screwing around. The room was fine and the agent was helpful when I needed them. For the price it’s decent. There was a bad smell there we couldn’t get rid of. We kept the window open a lot. Traveling with kids is fun, but sharing a room sucks. This place had a master bed where I could close the door. That was enough.

- Juan (2/5): - I am so disappointed that Expedia promotes this property and does business with Manage BNB, the company renting the properties on Iceboat Terrace. BNB is not a refutable company and has horrible customer service. It requires customers to pre-check that includes uploading drivers license, credit card, and selfie to their site. Despite of complying, I did not receive any information. I had to call Manage BNB. The building code was emailed to me, but the building address was different from the one advertised on Expedia. The advertisement also mentioned that parking was included. But, BNB refused to give me a parking spot even though my receipt says that parking was paid. It was only when I told them that I was going to call the police when they caved in. Expedia should compensate me for the 3 hours I spent fighting with BNB.
- Kurt (10/5): - Loved the view! 37th floor overlooking the harbour was incredible. Very quiet, we may as well have been the only ones on the floor, nor did we hear anyone above us. Was there for 3 days and were able to walk everywhere we needed to go. Highly recommend.
- Brandy (8/5): - It was our first time in Toronto. We couldn’t have picked a better place as far as location. We could walk everywhere had a beautiful corner street view of the city lights. Lots of places to shop or eat close by. The apartment we stayed in was perfect for us, clean, safe and comfortable. Communication with was quick and helpful when needed.Would definitely stay again.
- Kevin (6/5): - My stay at this property was great. It’s definitely a good place to book if you’re on a budget. The house was clean and well put together. The check in process was fairly easy and quick. I was only concerned with it not actually being a penthouse was more of a 2 bedroom condo. But overall it was still a nice stay. I would def cook this place again.

- Nate (2/5): - I booked this property last minute with expedia. After traveling to the location I called the property to gain access to our room and for parking. After waiting 10 minutes for them to reply back to me they told me the booking was no longer available due to maintence issues. Afterwards myself and expedia tried to contact the property to refund me ny booking and they were unable to reach the property. So not only did the waste my time, they canceled on nyself and still took my money. Horrible communication. Not recommended. Scam.
