• Tinka (9/5): Prachtig appartement - De gastvrijheid was super! Ook de inrichting van het appartement was sfeervol en uitgebreid. Het uitzicht vanaf het dakterras was ook erg mooi. Leuke locatie in een echt Grieks dorpje. Bijna niets. De ( wilde) katten die overal (over heel het eiland) rondlopen, plasten buiten op de stoelkussens. Hier kan de eigenaar natuurlijk niks aan doen.
• Amandine (10/5): Très agréable - Logement atypique car assez étroit mais correspond aux photos. La terrasse avec vue est vraiment très agréable. L’hôte est arrivé immédiatement à notre arrivée et s’est montré très agréable et attentionné avec des petits cadeaux de bienvenue (gâteaux et raki). Nous avons pu rester un peu plus tard le matin car le logement n’était pas loué ensuite, nous avons beaucoup apprécié. Je recommande vivement Les douches ne sont pas cloisonnées du reste de la salle de bain (toilettes) mais comme il y a deux espaces salle de bain ça n’est pas vraiment gênant
• serge (9/5): - l’appartement était confortable avec une grande terrasse. Une belle vue sur la baie d'Heraklion qui ce situe à seulement 1/4 h de voiture. Nous avons bien aimée le restaurant qui se situe à coté.

• Basilhs (10/5): Αξέχαστη!Ήταν ένα πολύ όμορφο διάλλημα από την απαιτητική πραγματικότητα.Μια απόδραση διπλα στη φύση - Αρχικά θα ήθελα να ευχαριστήσω για την υπέροχη φιλοξενία,τον επαγγελματισμό,την υποδοχή την Κατερίνα!Ήταν η οικοδέσποινα που μ'εκανε να νιώσω πολύ όμορφα και άνετα κατά την άφιξη μου καθώς και για την προθυμία της να με βοηθήσει δίνοντας μου χρήσιμες πληροφορίες.Ενα σπίτι με φανταστική θέα,καθαρό με έντονα στοιχεία της αληθινής Κρητικής φιλοξενίας. Το σήμα στον επάνω όροφο θα μπορούσε υπό ιδανικές συνθήκες να ήταν λιγάκι πιο δυνατό.Αλλα είναι και το μονο που μπορώ να βρω ψάχνοντας αρκετά.

• Neil (10/5): Outstanding apartment - Excellent apartment, large, clean, well appointed. The rooftop terrace was a wonderful bonus. Rodia is a gem of a village with great views.
• J. (10/5): Schitterend uitzicht - Het familie-appartement is van binnen en buiten schitterend. Leuke inrichting en details zoals lampjes in de houten balken. Het uitzicht vanaf het dakterras, is prachtig. Je hebt zicht op Heraklion. Je kunt uren blijven kijken, vooral in de avond met al die lampjes. Beneden is een smalle ruimte, daar is een complete keuken incl. vaat- en wasmachine aanwezig. Verder staan daar een ruime eethoek en 2 zitmogelijkheden met tv. Het is daar wat donker. Op de eerste verdieping heb je een hele ruime slaapkamer met balkon (schuifpui, voldoende licht en uitzicht op oudheid). Er is op de slaapkamer voldoende kastruimte. Een kleine badkamer met douche, toilet en wastafel. Op de 2e verdieping is de woonkamer. Er staat een (slaap)bank en tv. Ook is daar een badkamer, met douche, toilet en wastafel. Er zijn op de 2e verdieping een balkon én dakterras. Beide hebben een zitgedeelte. Op het balkon staat ook nog een fijne hangstoel. Op het dakterras 2 ligbedden en BBQ. Om te douchen vonden wij de badkamer op 1ste verdieping niet fijn (te klein), dat deden wij op de 2e verdieping. Overal zitten ramen of schuifpui die open kunnen en voorzien zijn van horren, wat een pluspunt is. En pluspunt, het appartement is schoon. Het appartement ligt een in dorpje waar je veel beweging van dorpsgenoten ziet, er zit ook een school. Er is dus levendigheid. Er zijn supermarkten (klein en beperkte produkten), een bakker, apotheek en verschillende eetgelegenheden (A&M Rodia raden we aan). Parkeren kan lastig zijn, maar parkeren op z'n Grieks houdt in dat je bijna overal je auto neer kan zetten :) Het dorp ligt 15-20 min rijden van de hoofdweg en stranden. Contact met verhuurder liep goed. Reageerde snel bij vragen. Wij hadden de zoon met vriendin bij het inchecken. Zij gaven ons een warm welkom en een gezellig praatje. Hat appartement is prachtig, het uitzicht is echt doorslaggevend om dit te boeken! Er viel niets tegen, wel zijn er dingen om rekening mee te houden. Er zijn, zoals overal in Kreta, katten! Welke deur je ook opent er zijn katten, ook op dakterras. Hier kan de verhuurder niets aan doen. Wij vonden het op een gegeven moment wel vervelend. Het matras ligt best goed, alleen het bed is wat wiebelig. Draait de één zich om, beweeg je mee :) Als je, zoals ons van het uitzicht wil genieten en dus boven wil eten en drinken, is het veel traplopen. Het stroom is alleen aanwezig als de sleutelmagneet in de houder zit. Dit is als je de wasmachine aan hebt staan en dan weggaat niet handig. Het vinden van het appartement is een dingetje. Als je de straat inrijdt is het redelijk aan het begin, aan de rechterkant, met een trap naar beneden, net na het kerkje. Ondanks deze punten zouden wij dit appartement zo weer boeken.

• Wencke (10/5): - Eine sehr liebevoll eingerichtete Wohnung mitten in einem authetischen Bergdorf mit einem atemberaubenden Blick auf die Stadt Heraklion. Der Balkon hat sehr bequeme Gartenmöbel, angenehmen Wind und immer einen Schattenplatz. Man bekommt viel mit von dem Leben der Einheimischen, kann sich dem aber auch vollkommen entziehen. Ein idealer Ausgangspunkt um die Insel zu erkunden. Natürlich kann man auch ohne Probleme den Strand von Heraklion und auch andere kleine Buchten erreichen. Fahrzeit ca. 15-20 Min. Der Vermieter ist sehr gastfreundlich und reagiert sofort auf Anfragen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. In der Küche fehlt ein scharfes Messer und eine Schere!😉

If you like peaceful tucked away locations then this is for you, it was a beautiful and peaceful village and the locals we met were very friendly. Nothing was any trouble, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I would completely recommend.

• Luís Miguel (10/5): Pitoresco, calmo e oportunidade de contactar com a cultura local - Casa localizada numa típica aldeia grega. A casa está muito bem decorada e tinha tudo o que precisamos. A simpatia e a disponibilidade do proprietário foi excelente. Ao estar tão perto do centro da aldeia, tivemos a oportunidade de conhecer e contactar com os habitantes locais. A casa fica mesmo em frente a uma pequena igreja, que penso ser original do século XVI e de uma antiga Villa Veneziana. Praias perto, a cerca de 15 minutos de carro.

If you have a car and are independent in transportation, it is an ideal place to stay. Incredible view, an incredible courtyard on the roof that you can see from above the whole bay of Heraklion. The decoration is very beautiful.If you are looking for peace, it is an ideal place to relax. See life up close in one of the most beautiful villages of Heraklion, Rodia, which is rightfully called the balcony of Heraklion. The sea is very close for swimming or fishing. Close to mini markets and cafes and next to the best traditional taverns in the area. There you can enjoy traditional flavors of Crete. The owners, two very kind people, are always by your side to ensure you have a pleasant stay. We ll come back again for sure . Everything was perfect
