Guest Reviews
- Layla (8/5): Gorgeous town, ideal location. -
- Christelle (8/5): - Location was great, lovely little town and the accommodation had lots of character.
Owners were reachable and helpful with queries. A few issues with kitchen equipment but hopefully it’s been resolved for future guests.
- A (9/5): - Location was excellent for walking into Bradford Upon Avon or catching the train into the centre of Bath as only 1 stop
- Felicity (7/5): - Beautiful house and great location Beds, pillows and sofas all looked great but weren’t terribly comfortable
- Young Rob (8/5): Beautiful Bradford on Avon - The location, easy walk to restaurants, lovely area to explore.
Appreciated the gift of wine.
Nice and clean.
Lovely home. The dryer operation didn't work in washing machine. Unfortunate for six of us needing to catch up with laundry.
Super king beds topper pad needed to cover the hump where the beds join.
We got incorrect check in code which was not ideal as none of us had roaming on phones. Luckily I could get onto the house's wifii to contact listed number for help. That number incorrect as the lady no longer works for the house. Thank goodness she kind enough to phone new admin person and then we finally got a phone call with correct code to get in. If this had been an elderly couple not savvy with wifii it could have been a sad situation and luckily for all of us it wasn't raining.
- Louise (6/5): Pleasant and enjoyable - We liked the many bedrooms and the kitchen. Very spacious and we enjoyed the board games. The shower was lovely and we always had hot water. Good space in the kitchen for us all to sit. Overall, it was a good visit and pleasant stay. Half the cooker didn’t work- couldn’t work out the appliances very easily as there were no instructions on how they work. Windows did not easily lock and due to small windows it got very hot so fans would be helpful in the property. The stay was good up until our teenage daughters undergarments went missing while we were about for about 45mins-hour. Contact to property manager was difficult and the number given was for someone no longer working there- but they were very helpful. Sofas were not very comfortable and there was not enough space for us all in the living room.
- Bonnie (8/5): A lovely house interior and great location. - Great location, beautifully presented interior, well stocked and super comfy beds. The outdoor area was not great - we weren’t looking for a big outdoor space but the little table surrounded by bins and outside the adjoining property’s window did not seem very inviting. Also would have been nice to have had a small household pack - some washing up liquid and a couple of dishwasher tabs.
- RAUL (8/5): Bonita casa en Bradford on Avon - La casa, la decoración. La limpieza No funcionaba el mando de la televisión y no nos arreglaron el problema
- Stacey (10/5): Picturesque beauty. Great food. Comfortable stay. - The house was lovely. Fun touches. It was so easy to walk to the town center and the train station. The kitchen is amazing, but we took full advantage of the great restaurants and pubs nearby.
- Alice (10/5): Peaceful stay in Bradford on Avon - The house is beautifully decorated and well equipped. Comfy beds. It's located on a quiet street which is a short walk outside the centre of town. Its worth noting for future guests is that there are stairs to go down to the kitchen (which meant it was lovely and cool in fact in summer) and to go to the bedrooms which are each on different levels - this was not a problem for us though.
- Jen (10/5): Brilliant accommodation - what a treat! - Fantastic property, beautiful decor, spotless. Great location for walking into the centre although a bit of a climb on way back but that's Bradford-on-Avon! Lovely to stay in a period property, spacious living room, kitchen and bedrooms. Didn't see any owners/staff but all communication was so friendly, prompt and helpful. This was a much better option than a hotel for so many reasons and was great to have a whole property to relax in rather than just a hotel room. Toiletries, towels, hairdryer all available so nothing was lacking. I'll definitely be telling my friends about this place as well as how beautiful Bradford-on-Avon is. Thanks to all involved, we couldn't have asked for more. We were able to park close to the property after we'd arrived - we moved the car nearer to unload when we saw that space had become available. But even if we hadn't have been able to get right by the property, we still wouldn't have had much of a walk from car to door. The outdoor area was small and shared with neighbours and you might feel a bit on show - we didn't use it as we were in town so much. You can see by looking around that this is quite common though, due to how properties have been built around each other, but some guests may not like this. But I don't think locals would think anything of it, we saw plenty of residents eating out in the front of their property, that's the BOA way!!
- Paul (8/5): Great, highly recommended. - Great little spot.
- Sam (10/5): We had the most relaxing stay - the cottage had everything we needed! Such fantastic value for money! 😊 - We loved the property- it is beautifully decorated, clean and well situated! Nothing!!!
- Jo (10/5): Quaint, quirky and absolutely perfect - Everything! The property is immaculate, lovely furnishings and decor. The building itself and layout is very quirky, but not for anyone with mobility issues. Just perfect for us & if travelling in a family group again I would definitely rebook & happily recommend. Nothing that we don’t like. Parking wasn’t great but that is to be excepted within that part of the town, this was not a shock or an issue, but future guests should do their homework, Bradford on Avon is set in the hills with narrow roads, which is why it is so charming.
